Asia: East and Pacific	Pink but still waiting ???	Jack, We got our pink slip May 9 and were told to come back on May 16 to pick up the Visa. When we got there on May 16 on our way to Da Lat,they said they could not issue the visa until we were cleard by DOS because of our earlier denial on our first petition. We had to wait for the consulate to call us. We finally got the visa on May 28, the day before I was scheduled to leave Vietnam. I know what you are going through. You already waited a long time and now you have to wait some more and when it is time to go pick up the visa , you will wait outside wondering what other thing can go wrong. Asia: East and Pacific	Hotel near HCM Consulate...	I have stayed at Tien Hoa near New World. It was cheap and clean and had computer access. I am sure there are better ones but I liked the price. As for packages: it's only taking around a week to review them. Thanks Saylin.... National Visa Center (Dept of State)	How Long of a wait for Choice of Agent approval	So we emailed our Choice of Agent Form a week ago, yesterday. I still have not heard anything back from the NVC. Anyone know how long this approval can take? I have also sent in the AOS (Affidavit of Support) can anyone tell me apx how long this process will take? National Visa Center (Dept of State)	ds-3032	Hi guy i call nvc and they give me my case number and iv number i was wonder i didn't receiver a e-mail from them yet to paid my OAS or my iv. but i was wonder can my hubby e-mail them the ds-3032 form to them thank you Yes, your husband needs to sign and email the DS-3032 form. This doesn't have to come from his computer either. I sent the scanned the original SIGNED DS-3032 form from my work email just last week and it was fine. Someone else suggested that send it from his email as well (Just in case)and I did, however they replied to my work email first and the processing has been smooth sailing from there.. National Visa Center (Dept of State)	What to Expect Now	Good Afternoon My VJ friends, I am just curious as to what to expect next? I have now Paid both the the AOS (Affidavit of Support) and the IV fee. I have also sent in my completed AOS packet last week and they have received it. I will forward the IV packet on Monday overnight (Fed Ex). Can anyone advise me what to expect next? How long will it take to hear back from NVC to know what is going on? I called the NVC today and the Rep was very RUDE to me!! She told me that if I don’t hear from them, I should “ASSUME” that everything is fine and until I return the IV packet and see it has been paid on their website I should not worry about the rest (WTH).. Get a sticky note affix to the originals with case# and names. izzy pizzy. Now get to the post office. Done deal, after I posted this, I went to my supply room at work and found post it tabs, left the office at 3:25... only thing, I only put the case number and not the name. However, I did do a cover letter with all details. I hope that this will be ok, I was already bummed that we got the RFE. Do you think we still may have a chance at a Nov interview?? They want you to send the complete document. You may be correct!! However there is a signature from the Deputy registrar of the Supreme court in Kingston Jamaica.. I sent the following originals "CERTIFIED COPY DECREE ABSOLUTE" with all the stamps and seals and "true copy on it signed by Deputy registrar of the Supreme court. Wirh an origi.al seal And eletronic sign From judge. Why me? It breaks down everything.assets amd all. Also,.she claimed untrue things to win The assets in her favor. He was still granted house,.The.car ect... When i say i want to give Up i mesn this horriable process not my Husband. We talked, this draining our funds. The $10,00 Ja was for this set of papers only,.not The divorce. The atty representing my Husband cost way more than 10,000 ja... The church married us on these doc,.so is my marriage not legal??? Worst part when i got back From ja And saw an attorney. The ex wife never divorced her us Husband. In The eyes of jamaica The marriage was legit And The divorce supposedly too. Who knows... National Visa Center (Dept of State)	RE: Hysterically Crying at work please HELP	Also, the NVC is just trying to confirm that you will have the acceptable documents for your interview. But you can sometimes convince them to close your case and schedule an interview on the premise that you will obtain the correct document before you attend an interview. The visa can't be approved until acceptable documents are presented to the embassy/consulate so really it's ultimately the embassy's call on what they will accept, and the NVC doesn't really have to be sitting on your case waiting for you to send them the right document. I know two people who did this filing through Central American embassies, they actually got an interview scheduled without police certificates because that stage was taking too long. They obtained the necessary documents during the wait between case closing at the NVC and the IV interview, presented the correct documents at the interview, and all went along fine from there. You may have to mail the NVC a letter stating your husband's intention to have the correctly-signed original divorce degree at his interview in order to comply with visa requirements, but that right now you want them to close your case based on the fact that all other necessary documents have been submitted and are ready for the interview. This tiny glitch should not be cause to have your case continually held up at the NVC. You obviously have a copy of the divorce decree and just need to get one signed by the proper authority. I have never been married so it was for my husband (Jamaican citizen). His previous marriage was in Jamaica and that is where the divorce took place as well. They requested the certified copy of an original issued by the appropriate government authority. So I sent them the Certified copy of the original Decree Absolute. With the raised seal and there is a red stamp and them a blue stamp that says supreme court Matrimonial division. It also states that I Commnore Bennett Deputy registrar of the supreme Court of Judicature of JAMAICA do hereby that the foregoing page is a true copy of the original decree absolute between Jane Doe and the petitioner and John doe granted on the 24th day of December 2010. The document must be an original, or a certified copy of the original, bearing the original seal or stamp from the issuing authority. So I resent the requested documents ORIGINALS with the seals and states In the Supreme Court of Judicature of JAMAICA with the signature of a judge. The rep told me this too was denied what more can I give them. WTH are they looking for. Could the person how check it in make an error.. Please someone help me I am at work and con not stop crying.
