The RFE is asking to submit information regarding the circumstances under which the petitioner and beneficiary met to establish the relationship. Also, the RFE is asking to submit evidence of meeting the beneficiary in person within the two-year period preceding the filing of the petition. We received notice a few days ago that my fiancé and I were approved for our NOA2 and now yesterday we received  the hardcopy NOA2!! We are so excited and happy things are moving forward finally after 4 and half month wait! I had a question for anyone who received their NOA2. On the NOA2, it states that they have forwarded our case to the consulate. I thought the next step was to go to the National Visa Center and than the consulate? Any guesses in how long before my fiancée should expect to receive a letter in the mail now that we received the NOA2? Our estimation has moved to October 8th-20th, (NOA1 June 25) which is around my (Myke) birthday, and when Kerry will be visiting me, so that would be a perfect birthday present! I leave the States in 3 weeks after having my full 90days here, and as soon as I get home, I will be updating all my vaccinations. Other than prepare for the interview, is there anything else essential I should be doing? I saw someone mention getting police checks - does the USCIS not do that in the original checks? I have a friend who is still awaiting on his parents to complete his paperwork, get help for his fiance in Laos, etc.. excuses, excuses. I even provide copies of my I-129F, answered all questions and concerns.. Still he's awaiting for his folks. However I have to disagree with you on the "helping" part. Some people can not spend over a month in Laos and do this all on his own. I also highly doubt you did not received help from the local relatives unless you were fluent in Lao writing and reading.
