I believe in most cases after one receives NOA 2 it goes faster. The NVC should be an express stop ( in and out in a few days ) and then everything depends on the embassies. Some are faster and easier others not. I have a good experience with our embassy here in Slovenia. We' ll see how it' s gonna be this time. COME ON CSC !!! Once the November approvals started to show up I got nervous, excited, worried . . . all possible feelings mixed together. It' s been 85 days for us too ( today ) and no touches, no NOA' s yet. I had high hopes for this week ( still 3 days to go and I even saw an October filer getting his NOA during the past weekend. I was just talking to my fiance earlier and we are looking at other possible thing to do if we don't get the NOA2 soon. This thing makes me emotionally drain and restless already. I understand why K 1 visa needs more background check, I understand why is more expensive than some others, I ( sometimes ) even understand the longer processing times. BUT this wait is ridiculous. I read somewhere here on VJ, years ago all was done in a month or so ( From filing the petition until the visa issuance ) The worst part for me is not to know when, how is all gonna happen. BUT we all knew, we all decided and set up to take this road to be with our loved ones. Is hard but hopefully this is the first and the last time we are going through these kind of separations. I' m trying to be positive, waiting for our NOA and trying to remember I' m not alone. There are many more people out there doing the same exact thing. Luckily, next week can be our week ! At the Montreal consulate where my fiance' has to go, the letter he receives with packet 3 has been saying 4 to 6 MONTHS until an appointment for an interview. Yes, there is lots of courier activities for your lady to complete, but will she have enough to keep her occupied until she has her visa in hand and can come to the states to stay? Montreal is crazy to deal with ! I read about it and I truly feel sorry for some couples that have to wait for their interviews. Everything else is already painful on it' s own. I wasn' t sure if believe or not the first and second November approval but this man / woman now confirmed it. We have a proof . NOA through the email, NOA on the mobile and a hard copy in your mailbox soon too. What a great weekend present for you and your fiance ! I didn' t see many approvals this week ( as last one when CSC literally covered us with them ) . I don' t wanna complain though while watching November fellow travelers getting approved. Tomorrow, another working week starts at USCIS and I hope to see some action during the upcoming days and weeks. I got some more informations about taking a medical exam here in SLO.
