Placenta Recipes Roast Placenta 1-3lb fresh placenta (must be no more than 3 days old) 1 onion 1 green or red pepper (green will add colour) 1 cup tomato sauce 1 sleeve saltine crackers 1 tspn bay leaves 1 tspn black pepper 1 tspn white pepper 1 clove garlic (roasted and minced) Method (Preheat oven to 350 degrees) 1. Chop the onion and the pepper & crush the saltines into crumbs. 2. Combine the placenta, onion, pepper, saltines, bay leaves, white and black pepper, garlic and tomato sauce. 3. Place in a loaf pan, cover then bake for one and a half hours, occasionally pouring off excess liquid. 4. Serve and enjoy! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Placenta Cocktail Ingredients: 1/4 cup fresh, raw placenta 8oz V-8 juice 2 ice cubes 1/2 cup carrot Method: blend at high speed for 10 seconds. Serve. A tasty thirst quencher! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Placenta Lasagne Ingredients: 1 fresh, ground, or minced placenta, prepared as above 2 tblspns olive oil 2 sliced cloves garlic 1/2 tspn oregano 1/2 diced onion 2 tblspns tomato paste, or 1 whole tomato Method: use a recipe for lasagne and substitute this mixture for one layer of cheese. Quickly saut?ll the ingredients in olive oil. Serve. Enjoy! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Placenta Spaghetti Bolognaise Ingredients: 1 fresh placenta, prepared as above 1 tblspn butter 1 large can tomato puree 2 cans crushed pear tomatoes 1 onion 2 cloves garlic 1 tblspn molasses 1 bay leaf 1 tblspn rosemary 1 tspn each of: salt, honey, oregano, basil, and fennel Method: cut the placenta meat into bite-sized pieces, then brown quickly in the butter and olive oil. Middle East and North Africa	Why you got Married/engaged to your spouse/fiance?!!!	I can't describe the strange feeling of meeting someone and just knowing that this is HIM. The one person you want to have by your side in life, the one who compliments you, the one you want to start a family with. We were crazy about eachother and married 6 months after we met and needless to say no one but us thought it would last... It does come off as slightly insane I guess, but it worked for us =) I'm in no way belittling love here, it did after all make me move across an ocean and leave my family and friends, job and security behind. But besides feeling special and warm and fuzzy inside because of the other, we have similar goals and values. Our priorities match, even if our political and religious views differ more often than not I'm not an open person, but he makes me talk by talking, and by listening. He cares and shows it in so many little ways every day, from making sure to do things that needs to be done, but he knows that I hate doing more than he does, to taking the kids out for breakfast during the weekend so the house will be quiet and I can sleep in. That's pure luxery for a mother with young ones. His humour is what made him stand out in the first place, he doesn't take himself too seriously. He makes me laugh, even when I just want to growl and be pouty. He's considerate, goofy, bright (though not as intelligent as I am ofc ) and ambitious, but not overly so. Sure he has his quirks and bad habits, and they do drive me nuts at times but I've come to realize I can live with them. I'm certainly not perfect either and I don't think I could stand living with someone who is, or thinks he is... My husband is just a really, really good guy when it comes down to it. A great father. A wonderful, passionate lover (don't tell him I said that, it'll get to his head in no time!!!) And he's ALL mine. I feel incredibly lucky to have found him. Figured the same might apply here. Hope everything else goes smoothly! Yay for you guys! Just checked USCIS. Approved I-129F!!! NOA2 mailed on August 15, 2011. NOA1 date was May 4, 2011. Total of 103 days from NOA1 to NOA2. It looks as though I am the first May approval on VJ from Vermont. In case anyone wants to know, my packet was 250+ pages. Perhaps more is better. Also, I check USCIS every few days, the last time I checked was on Thursday. As of Thursday, I got the usual "We cannot find your case in our system." This evening was just awesome news!!! Yayyyy!!!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Approved - K-1 Sept 1, 2011 - Manila	We started this K-1 Journey on April 19th and just found out a few hours ago that my fiance got approved for her Visa at the US Embassy in Manila. Just be patient and you will also achieve your goals with this crazy process. She will be here in November after tying up some loose ends.. Thanks again to everyone for the support.
