Does having a NOA2 guaranteed that case has been approved and would not have other possibilities of denial? How would the case run after receiving it? How was the chance? And how sure is sure? Thanks!

Hello, guys! Just wanna asks again. I am just anxious about proof of meeting in person within 2 years. We started our communication last quarter of 2007 and finally he visited me and proposed to me last May 2008. His visit lasted only for 1 week since he got only 10 days of leave from his work less the travel time. Would it matter if he only visited me once? He filed our I-129F last July,2008. My fiances` plan is to visit me again this coming Dec. but recently he changed plan since the airfare keeps on increasing now and that he can`t get another leave this year and so we agreed that he won`t have his 2nd visit anymore. He will just be saving it for my airfare when I had my visa approval soon. I am just worrying if this will affect my interview in the future. As I`ve read the interview experienced here Co.would asks how many times my fiance visited me and if he questioned about my fiance`s stay I might possibly deny or might prolong our waiting time to be reunited. My fiance and I were worrying now about this. Any opinions about this matter. Thanks again!!!!

the way that i understand that law is at it is written u have to have met with in the last two years prior to filing for k1 visa and u have to be able to show proof of meeting so kind of sounds to me like u have met that requirement

Thanks for the reply..Just wanna clarify my fiance visited me already here in my place but that was his first and last visit. My concern was is, is it okay if he visited me just once!!!! TY.

You are fine... My fiance( husband now) visited me only once prior to filing too. God bless on your journey.

Thanks Riza, but what if his visit lasted for one week only?do they questioned the length of stay! that`s short visit only but my fiance and I and my family had a quality time during that visit.....God bless!!!!

hey SKParker and welcome....

I had visited my now husband over a period of 4 years before we submitted the paperwork, and had kept the e-tickets, had copies of passport stamps and a couple of pictures of us to together over that period - so I think you have as much as you need to prove the initial requirement to have met within 2 years.

I saved cards, telephone bills, letters, etc for the interview stage - so I think you are fine. I turned up to the embassy with a large file of evidence.

Good luck with your journey -

Hello, I guess you did a good job in accomplishing your I-129F Package. You listed all the evidences and its all good. Make sure that you did not send all the originals because you`re fiancee will be needing it during her interview in the future.Start keeping your proofs of on-going relationship whether its through email, snail mail, chat logs, call history and all means of your communication that will will proved that you`re always communicating after sending your petition....Anyways,,,,Good luck to your journey!!!

out of interest. what form had to be notarized?

HI, he was told to notarize everything but i think it was the letter from his employer or it was the letter of intent to marry me i know it was one of them, i cant quite remember which one. i would have to ask Tommy but he is at work at the moment. i hope this helps

Our letter of Intent was not notarized either when my fiance filed our I129F, and as far as I know the Affidavit of Support was the only notarized form that our fiance has to prepared, other than that, I don`t know which form you were talking. I am curious now and quite alarmed if Letter of Intent hast to be notarized because we didn't do that. I hope this won`t give us problems too. We are waiting for our NOA2 soon, its exactly 4 months today since we have our NOA1. Hope we can have ours soon. Good lukc to us.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresFilling the Affidavit of Support
Hello, VJ Friends! I am asking about Filling up the Affidavit of Support in behalf of my fiance(USC). We are quite confused what to put in my address. Question was : #3. This affidavit of Support is executed in behalf of my name ,presently resides at_____? When we filed the 1-129F, I used my dormitories address in the city where I was working before but few months ago I resigned in my work there and I moved here in my hometown which is my permanent address/present address now. I was wondering especially my fiance which address he would fill up in the address in Filling the I-134 . Is it the address I put in my G325A ? or my present address now/which is my permanent address? Thank you guys! Any ideas and advices will be highly appreciated. God speed!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresAre vows in church always concidered legal wedding?
QUOTE (anindon @ Dec 4 2008, 08:46 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
We were thinking about getting married at her church in the Philippines for her family and friends, and then coming to US the following week on the K1 visa. Then, within 90 days getting married in USA. She is not a Catholic so we hoped that the church would go along with us and allow the marriage to take place but not report it to the Philippine govt. It sounds like it might work and make everyone happy but I am concerned that somehow the US govt. would find out after we wed in this country and then void the marriage and visa. I am afraid that they will say that we lied on forms and prosecute us also. Does anyone have insight into this topic?

Being honest to goodness is the best weapon for successful life, we know that K-1 visa valid for 9o days and the marriage will take place in the country of the US citizen. Marriage here in the Philippines is valid wherever you go, and such you intend to marry in the church, church won`t tolerate such thing..US government will investigate things upon processing of your papers, so you can`t hide everything, you might be caught and it will bring problems for sure....Better get married in US , adjust status there and back here in Philippines after a year or two and if you had church wedding in US , you can do renewal of vows in the church here in Phils. so your fiancee`s family can be happy here , seeing their daughter in that important ceremony of her life. Hope it helps...God bless!

Hi, you can choose where you can put your time line, you can do your time line in your signature post and another way is you can update your time line in Immigration timelines. Which one you want? just choose one where you can update your time line. If you want to do it in your signature posts you can go to my controls, click it and look for edit signature, from your edit signature you can put your time lines and update it. If you want to show your timeline in Immigration timeline log your email and you can fill up the time line therem just fill up the boxes in Immigratiion timelines . In other way, you can just choose, if you can do both its better. Good luck and Happy New Year.

I have that confusion also when my fiance was preparing my affidavit of support. We used the new form which don`t asks for notarization but we ended up notarizing it. My fiance have it notarized even there is no room in the paper for notarizing it, he brought it to the bank and the official there notarized in he just signed in the bottom and he rewrite the oath and he have it signed and put stamped on it. We want to be secure that our affidavit is notarized even it doesn't say there that it wont need to be notarized. It is better to be over prepared than to be delayed. The bank was very accommodating when he said he want it to be notarized. It is here with me now and I am all set for my coming interview.

I have that thread also but can`t find the link now and some here in the regional forum have it notarized no harm even it is notarized or not. It is good be secure! Good luck and God bless!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresDenied- K-1 Petition: Any options?
Hi, guys! I just wanna asks about the case of my friend, filed for K-VISA. I was trying to help her and lessen her heartaches about their case. So, I am here asking your help in her behalf. Last Jan. 30, they received this notice:

" On January 30, 2009, we mailed you a denial decision notice for this case I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). The notice explains why the denial decision was made and the options that may be available to you. If you have not received this notice within 30 days of the January 30, 2009, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance" .

We are quite anxious about the statement above since they haven`t received yet the formal letter from USCIS explaining about their denial and what be their options.

If in case you know about some options about their case, kindly share us about it. They are thinking for an alternative solutions and options but the letter was not in their hands yet. I believed in their genuine love it just that this situation happened.

Any opinions and suggestions will do just to let them know what would be their options. They just want to have an idea about the possible options before they can get the letter. Thank you and God bless!

QUOTE (gracey007 @ Jan 8 2009, 02:06 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Thank you for all of your replies.

I am from Philippines and he is from US.
He told me all his reasons why he was cancelling those appointments and why he wants to cancel the 3rd one.

1. he said, he had find out (after scheduling my 1st interview) he couldnt file a tax return last year, said, he could only file it this month, january, so he have to cancel my 1st appoinment.

2. he said he was so busy with school that december since it was his final, and so he couldnt work with the other papers needed for my interview, like the evidence of our relationship

3. and third, why he's planning to cancel the january appointment, is because of my CENOMAR. He told me to order it right when it was Holidays, so now he thinks I could not get it earlier before my interview in the 20th.

Are the 3 reasons valid enough?

He was the one doing all the works on our visa, from the smallest to the biggest.
He only asked me to do things that I needed to do myself, like requesting my birth certificate and stuff...

Thanks again...and happy new year to all of you!

Gracey

If for the third time is the CENOMAR issue you can get a CENOMAR even tomorrow it is only 3 days you can still catch up for your interview on the 20th. Whereas for instance you go to your interview and have`nt bring your CENOMAR with you , you can still attend for your interview, USEM may just issue slip for you and you can go back to USEM to drop by your additional requirements. I have read some post`s here in VJ who attended interview even lack of requirements with that case....Good luck to both of you and God bless!

Hello,

I was just wondering that there have been 1 or 2 members here who still have not recieved their NOA2 and its been more than 1 year. Why is that? I guess sometimes my fear takes over and I don't want to be one of those statistics. Just a bit paranoid, and want to make sure I don't run into something like that. Any explanations would help me a great deal. I know I have a lot of time to wait because they have just started on April filers. I was hoping for a November 09 wedding, but I think that is not possible now sad.gif. Btw congrats to all that got approved!

Hi, sometimes it`s case to case basis, and even others got their NOA2 if they will be subjected for AP, it takes too long, but as long as you and your fiance doesn`t have any problems with your papers it will come in the estimated timeline. Hang in there, pray more and have more patience...Goodluck and God bless!

Hello,
i am wondering if anyone can tell if immunizations are provided to those who need them or do not have records of any immunizations?
thanks
bill

Just recall what immunization you had during your childhood. In case you don`t remember it they will conduct immunization interview by the way and from there doctors will assess what`s kind of vaccine they will be giving you. Stay positive!Good luck and God bless.

Hi, VJ Friends! I got my visa today. My fiance and I were so happy that at last after all the long wait. I will finally with him... We made it because of all your help. Our visa journey is not end here, we still need your help and guidance in our AOS soon. We are hoping that you can still lend us your help as we go through the process.

We will be leaving on Feb.5, 6:30 am via Northwest Airlines (MNL-NAGOYA-DETROIT) with other VJ member here
(Sweetybabe)we have the same POE so we think of going together on that same date to bridge the gap of long travel. Can anyone of you here have this same POE? Please share us your POE in Detroit- DTW airport in Romulus. For sure it will help us a lot what to expect in that place.

We are asking for your prayers for our safe flight and for our hassle free POE. Until then and May God be with us all the time. God bless!

Courier Delivery Fee:

The issued visa will be delivered to the applicant's designated address by Air 21 (the Embassy's authorized courier service provider) within 7 to 10 working days. The visa delivery fee, which is determined by the courier service, is paid by the applicant. This fee to the courier service is separate from any fees paid to the U.S. Government. Applicants do not need return to the Embassy to pick up their issued visas. You may visit AIR 21 for more details.

7 to 10 working days to deliver? blink.gif

I received my visa today and Delbros was the still the courier for visa packet. It was 3 days delivery for Greater Manila Area.

Hi, there Mayette! Thanks for acknowledging me here in your posts! It is my pleasure to help and share whatever I knew from this visa process. I just gained that knowledge here in VJ too and also based from my experience . I may not be an expert but somehow I am glad that I was able to share little things to you .

It`s your time to shine dear!!! I will be praying for you on that very day!

Just be confident during the interview and answer what is only asks from you. Be optimistic and asks the guidance of our Lord, God above so that HE may guide you all throughout. With HIM everything is possible!

Break a leg! God bless!

I did n`t see the DS 157. You have to prepare 2 copies of DS 157-Validated from the Bank, 2 copies of DS 156 and 1 copy only of DS 156K, sign it and put the name of your petitioners that you`re going to marry.

Break a Leg!God bless!
