I am so happy.

The pre-screener and the consul were both nice. Imagine, they did not asked me any proof of relationship anymore. The pre-screener said, "I know that your fiance loves you so much coz when i saw the 4-inches package that he sent to USCIS, I couldn't ask for more evidences. This is a lot." hahahaha... We were just like talking casually and making some jokes with the pre-screener..feeling close..hahaha. He just took my little picture scrapbook for the consul to see it also...he likes the captions and how i did it. I just submitted the I-134 with 2007 Form 1040, 2007 Form W-2, employment letter, bank statement, NBI clearance, BC, CENOMAR. I even told the pre-screener that i got files for more evidences and i offered him to see it but he said, no thank you. lol..I was kinda frustrated coz I prepared those files, printed some new emails and chatlogs, remittances, cards, etc...i filed them nicely and properly...What the heck? There was no used...lol.. Anyway, the 4-inches thick package that my fiance sent to USCIS made a plus points...hehehhe

The CO was really nice too... He just asked me few Questions like: When was the last time your fiance was here? Where did u meet? And he told me: I have no reason to disapprove you coz your case is pretty good and it has everything in it. You are approved!!! But he was still typing and he told me to tell him the story about the trip of my fiance here in the Phils. My story made me and the consul very emotional that time. I told him that we went to my father's grave and my fiance wrote a letter and he read infront of my father's grave. And the consul said, "Really? Is it with you now? So, i hand it to him and he told me, "I think your fiance is a good man and I know that your father will be happy for you both." Guys, that statement made me really cry...i missed my father and i was grateful too..i couldn't hold my tears. The consul told me to release it and that it is ok to cry. The consul comforted me and he told me to wipe my tears and wait outside for the releasing of slips...
Funny was, I asked the consul if i look obvious that I cried...and he said that, "You look wonderful." whew..ahahha
Such a nice interview experience...super unforgettable one.

Hello, VJ Friends! I am asking about Filling up the Affidavit of Support in behalf of my fiance(USC). We are quite confused what to put in my address. Question was : #3. This affidavit of Support is executed in behalf of my name ,presently resides at_____? When we filed the 1-129F, I used my dormitories address in the city where I was working before but few months ago I resigned in my work there and I moved here in my hometown which is my permanent address/present address now. I was wondering especially my fiance which address he would fill up in the address in Filling the I-134 . Is it the address I put in my G325A ? or my present address now/which is my permanent address? Thank you guys! Any ideas and advices will be highly appreciated. God speed!

Hi, fellow VJ`s, I am just curious about some who received RFE, why they asks for RFE? does it mean that filers did`t enclosed evidences when they sent their package of I129 F? what`s behind RFE? when my fiance sent our package we included all the evidences such as pics, boarding passes, tickets, etc. Is it good enough? or they might asks from us additional RFE? I would suggest that assess yourself first how long you been affected by that cough, if it`s month ago and still you have that cough, that you should be worried off because doctor might suspect you are carrier of communicable disease but if its just a simple cough its okay . Just drink more juice(lemonade) and drink milk every night and in the morning and also during the day of your medical exam. I have dry cough a month ago and its been affecting my throat and it disturbed my sleep and so what I did was I went to the doctor do some consultation and they suggest to do chest x-ray to be sure. When I got the result I got clear lungs and my dry cough did`t affect my x-ray result. My fiance suggested this to avoid future problems even we`re still waiting for NOA2 . Prevention is better than cure, so guys out there, if you are still on the process of waiting for NOA2 and you were suspecting something bad about yourself, try to see a doctor so you will know if you are in good health. Better do this to avoid problems during your actual medical, rather than SLEC find out that you have communicable disease such as TB. If that would be the cause it might give you problems. I have a friend a K-1 beneficiary too during her medical in SLEC she was detected of TB, SLEC gave her 6 months medications, she did n`t even know that she will be diagnosed with that disease where in fact she is so healthy and not even suspected to have that, she is not coughing either.So, being healthy physically is not guarantee that we are healthy inside because we can get those symptoms by other people that we encounter in our day to day life. Doctor advised her for a 6 months treatment in SLEC and after 6 months she`ll be having re-medical, so far she is good now and she will be having her re-medical soon. Anyway, Good luck to your medical, be confident that you`re healthy so it will relieved your worries. I hope this helps!!! God bless us all in our journey...

Hello, shey! I have an old form of affidavit of support also like the one you mentioned and it was notarized. But I have read in USCIS website the newer version of 2008 so I asks my fiance to have it also. I have heard a friend here in VJ, I met her in our medical in SLEC, she was interviewed last Dec.23 in USEM, her fiance prepared the old affidavit form for her and it was accepted and she made it! Hello, guys. I just wanna ask in behalf of my fiance. I am preparing for my interview documents and my fiance is about to send all the documents that I will be using, he is about to send it to me via FedEx one of this days. My fiance downloaded the new I-134 Affidavit of Support from the USCIS website , this version (Exp.05/31/10) . I am just curious is it true that this new form does n`t need to be notarized. My fiance said there is no need for it to be notarized since it is stated in the Execution of Affidavit (cf. from the I-134 instruction . )it says there" For this reason, it is not necessary to sign Form I-134 before a notary , nor to have your signature notarized after you sign it." because its under penalty of perjury under US Law. I did n`t understand it as much as he explained to me so I am still insisting him to have it notarized. I admit , it gives me confusion. I really don`t have much idea about this Law. I was just avoiding any problems in our documents.I guess I am just so paranoid ! though I understand I was stuck to the idea that it is still need to be notarized.

But we have it final now, he sign this New version of Affidavit of Support and its not notarized anymore, but he attached all his supporting documents. Are we all set for this papers? Do you think we comply all the requirements needed?

Does anybody of you here use this New Form and done with their interview?

Recently I started that thread about I-134, Version 2008 and my fiance understood this is really not needed for that form to be notarized, but yesterday we agreed that he will let it notarized to be sure. Just to avoid problems in my actual interview on January, because of the instruction from the USCIS website, and it doesn`t co-relate the idea if needs to be notarized or not. You can have it notarized too if you want just to be secure. Good luck and have a Blessed New Year to you and your love ones.

Ink jet and Laser printers produce a nearly flawless printed document. Barcode scanners are sometimes very pick when attempting to scan the barcode itself, so whatever you do after printing your document try not to wrinkle or damage the page in any way. Their scanner MUST be able to read the barcord. I believe the barcode just contains the info included in your document. If you Epson is a laser or ink jet you should be ok.
