There is alot of fraud everywhere and the Bogota Embassy is very strict and must follow there instructions to the letter....The want all results and vaccinations from there approved Doctors. We are one of the few K-3 here fromwhat i can see. e received the NVC case letter sending to BGT on 10.23/07 and immediately faxed all the packet 3 forms as described in the shortcuts here in the threads by Mike. DO we still need to send originals by courier, my wife seems to think faxing them is sufficient and to bring originals to interview. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Colombia Club	Hello to everybody in this Great web, my husband and I, we recieve last week our BGT Number and also lastweek they told us that they sent our case at the Colombian Embassy, I heard to many people that they are in the K1 in others fourums that they sent the respective form (DS 230 part I and OF 169) wich is the same for K3 except for the form OF 169, before they recieve the package 3... I found in the Colombian Embassy website the package 3 for K3... We just recieve the BGT number last week and they sent it on Wednesday to Bogota... my Question is ... May I send the form DS 230 Part I and the OF 169 next week... Is the way to win time for to gett the enterview sooner .... but it's not too earlier to send it? Para el Certificado de Policia se debe * hacer una consigancion previa de 28.600 pesos a Bancafe. * Tomarse 2 Fotos Fondo Azul especial para Este documeto * Fotocopia de la Cedula de Ciudadnia * Cedula de Ciudadania en mano * Apartar la cita, de acuerdo al formato que tenga la Oficina a la cual se recurre. PAra el Documento De inmigacion o de Entradas Y Salidas del PAis * Consignar en Bancafe la suma de 36.300 en BAncafe * Llenar una forma que la Oficina de Extranjeria Expide. * Fotocopia de la Cedula. We have been approved on the i-129f and i-130 on 10 Sept 2007. 5 weeks later, NVC says they still have not recieved the approved petition. I called NVC and they say it can take up to 90 days and to be patient. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to see if USCIS still has it and why it has not been sent after 5 weeks. Is this a normal time frame ? My wife is from Colombia and I filed a k-3 visa for her. Its so hard waiting, not knowing why it is taking so long for the USCIS to send the approved petition to NVC. Any advice or help from your experiences would be greatly appreciated !!!! Why some people told you dont worry about them is not correct. my wife is an Attorney in Colombia and simple mistakes on paperwork will most definately DELAY your visa. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	BOGOTA INTERVIEW-CHANGE K-3 TO IR1/CR1 ???	Greetings !!! My QUESTION is at the interview can I change/request for ir-1/cr-1 visa instead of k-3 ?? I have read other posts that it can be done, and is much better, because my wife would get EAD and green card within two weeks of entering USA. I read the AOS for K-3 is $1010.00 USD and does not happen quickly to get green card or EAD. Thats alot of money if I am able to save by changing to the IR1/CR1. We are in the K3 Process we had both forms aproved at the same time... and the form that automaticly continues is the I 129F.. you have to wait untill the NVC recieve your case, and then they will give you a number case BGTXXXXXX... and this process will be send it at the Embassy in Bogota.. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	April K3 Filers	Hello to everybody in this Fourum, my husband and I, we recieve last week our BGT Number and also lastweek they told us that they sent our case at the Colombian Embassy, I heard to many people that they are in the K1 in others fourums that they sent the respective form (DS 230 part I and OF 169) wich is the same for K3 except for the form OF 169, before they recieve the package 3... I found in the Colombian Embassy website the package 3 for K3... We just recieve the BGT number last week and they sent it on Wednesday to Bogota... my Question is ... May I send the form DS 230 Part I and the OF 169 next week... Is the way to win time for to gett the enterview sooner .... but it's not too earlier to send it? any advice is very welcome!...
