K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 3rd NOA2's	I'm trying to find that instruction on how to call? I got an operator to get on the phone without having to say I have an RFE... is this a different operator? Please link that post or something for me and everyone else wondering how to call, or just explain it. I usually called and press the option for petition that has been approved, then another, and then it tells me my status after putting my case number in, then it says something like 'to continue to the next step please wait' and then eventually I get an operator on the line. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Fiancee/Fiance Letter of Intent	I followed the example almost verbatim. The only thing I added was a short two paragraph description how we met, and then I stated the intent. On top of that, at my work I get notaries for free from co-workers so I got it notarized to add the icing to the cake and make it a real legal document. My fiancee wrote an almost identical letter, just like mine except with her own personal touch. These statements are just technical documents needed to make this entire petition complete and legal, I guess. It's your statements that you will merry within 90 days of entering the US to comply with all US laws that are most important so they can at least hold someone liable if you break the K-1 visa guidelines, and it won't be the US gov.	iamjasonbunch	Male	Latvia	2007-05-17 21:24:00
K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Do I have enough evidence to file k-1 forms?	My best advice... just read the instructions on the forms, and submit whatever it asks for. I sent in the basics with my I-129F, nothing crazy, and no RFE's... smooth sailing. This has been the easiest process ever. I think applying for my university was harder. I never sent my fiancee's birth certificates with the G-325's. I even sent them a ghetto enlargement of my own birth certificate that I scanned on my home scanner and printed it out. As long as everything is in order, you supplied them with all the right forms that they asked for, and nothing looks suspicious... you're just fine! These folks look at forms 24/7... you give them something new to look at... it might bother their normal routine, and say hmm whats this? Get my drift? Relax... and relax.. and relax.. thats the best advice. I suggest just checking your forms twice, relaxing (proved my point?)... and just sit back for the ride. PS. this site has a pretty good guide on what to include, and some good advice other than relaxing is to just follow the guide. Nobody said we didnt have an illegal immigration problem... and I'm all up for strict policies on immigration.. especially stopping all the illegal mexicans and terrorist slipping through the Mexican border. But from what this thread was talking about, the solution seemed to be that the policy needs to be less strict. Anyway, someone who writes a paragraph about 'Busch' politics and does not even know how to spell the President's name... tells you something about how credible that information is. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I must cancel this journey	Bush talks to all the Immigration Head Officers and is responsible for the breakups of couples due to delays from bad paperwork and just the fact that certain countries just have more people trying to immigrate than others... this kinda reminds me of everyone saying Bush put a bomb in the ocean during Hurricane Katrina to make it go towards New Orleans.. hmm... and Bush responsible for Global Warming... all his cows I guess? and Bush responsible for oil prices going high (Let's not say its the greedy oil companies in the middle east understanding supply and demand in America). One question I think you ppl should ask to yourselves when you come up with such dumb comments about immigration and why the US has an immigration policy and a procedure to follow... How do you think it would be if we allowed EVERYONE in the world come who felt like it, without a screening process nor an application. No checks, no concern if someone will become a public charge to the country. No nothing. Just total anarchy.. there would be no control over society. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I must cancel this journey	I am actually quite impressed how quickly this process has been. It has been sad being apart from the woman I love. We spent our entire summer together. After 3 months of trying to live overseas... I decided to come back to Miami because the opportunity is much better in the US. I now make more money, I have no debt, I have saved lots of money and I am ready to start my family... and now I am able to have my fiancee come and get married thanks to our immigration system. This journey is 6 months... we love one another and these six months have brought us much closer and we both never want to leave each others side for even a moment! My impression is that the embassy has been the quickest so far in my journey... so if I had to put a blame on someone for something it would be the CSC because they are kinda slow in mailing me that NOA2. They claim to have mailed it on the 3rd of May.. still no letter. But the Embassy has not made me want to stop loving my fiancee, or making me want to stop this entire 6 month process.	iamjasonbunch	Male	Latvia	2007-05-21 21:17:00
