K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I got package from embassy	Hi Robert, The K-1 finace(e) Visa is an Non-Immigrant Visa until you marry the USC. The petition is treated like an Immigration Visa because even though it is a Non-Immigrant Visa it will turn into an Immigrant Visa once you married your fiancée (USC). K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Waiting for NOA2	Hello JanaStepho, Go to the USCIS section and there is a CSC/TSC list that tells you NOA1, RFE’s, and NOA2. There is also a list with the same title that is for VJ members who have been approved. The list is very good; you can see what is happening with CSC/TSC. Yes people update it! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Please Help With Question	I hate to mention this while you are going through this pain in the a$$ situation. But guys any time you get an important document from anybody you have to go over it check it and re-check it and after you finish this you check it again. Yes, it sucks that people are making mistakes but this happens everyday and if it is you document and it is important you are the one who has to be responsible. If not we could just go around blaming everybody for everything. You did not look at your divorce certificate when you received it? Come on now! It sucks waiting that long but when you go through TSC/CSC that is the problem. I feel fortune it to have gotten the NOA2 in 78 days a lot of people in CSC have to wait a lot longer. Go to the USCIS section and add your name and NOA1 to “The CSC/TSC list”. It will help you and other members seeing what is happening at CSC/TSC. You get to actual see what is going on unofficially. I am a C.P.A. and I am closing the books at the beginning of the month for the prior month. So because of this it is going to be hard but I will try. If your fiancée faxed and handed in; a copy of the passport, OF-169/DS-2001 and DS-230 part 1, you guys should be getting the interview in March 2006. The cut-off date that the Embassy uses varies between the 16th and the 20th of the month. Our K-1 petition was received by the Embassy on the 19th and they had cut-off one day or two before they received ours that is why we got a March interview. I wish I would have known about the actual cut-off date, what I had read from other VJ member was that it was the 20th of the month which was incorrect. I think it is better to be safe than sorry. If you have done all this work and waited all this time to be together with your fiancé(e) why not have everything that you need just in case? What happens if they ask for something and you do not have it? Are you willing to go back in a month to the Embassy again? It is up to you?
