Congrats to all of the March Filers!!!! It seems as if CSC is picking up steam! The only problem is, sometimes they notify you, sometimes they don't. Some get hard copies of NOA2 and some do not. Either which way, just as long as they approve, Everyone is happy!!!

Ok here is my question i hear alot of people talking about receiving their packet 3 from the embassy it already stated when her medical is which is on july 17th and her interview is on august 4th she has already does she have to fax or mail these forms back to the embassy or can she just bring them in on her interview date. Help we have go to far to screw this up now :help:



First , those in the Philippines receive packet 4. She also has to fill out the forms on line,and when she prints them, she brings a copy with her. I thinkyou should read Sheriff Ulings guide.

after filing I-129F and having it logged on the USCIS website on 07 May 2007. It has sonce never been touched.

Should I be worried or is there anything else I should be doing?

I would not worry too much if I were you. There was a surge of approvals and now it seems they are getting back to their old routines of making everyone sweat it out. Just be patient. I was expecting my approval to take about 90days. I was lucky and just caught the wave of approvals. The hardest part of the whole process is the waiting without any updates. Hopefully soon you will get your approval. Good Luck to you all!!!!!

Maryna and I just got our NOA2 in the mail today (effective 6/28/07). Online shows no status change since 6/21 at which time we had touches about three days in a row prior to 6/21. I figured we had been caught up in the security backlog.

So, hang in there if you don't see a online status change because you just never know what surprises CSC is going to send to all you good boys and girls!

Justin just returned to TX after spending 10 days in Buenos Aires...we had no changes on the online status, no touches, no RFEs...
But when he went to check the mail, he found the approval notice letter, issued june 26th!!! :joy:

Thanks to all the VJers for the support!! We have you all to thank for a trouble and RFE-free journey! we couldn't have done it without you!! :D

Now it's off to NVC and start preparing for the embassy interview... :dance:

I applied for my kids K2 Visa. With my k1 … of course still waiting for NOA 2 …

There father want them to sty in UK for anther school year ….

My question is

If the Visa stamped in their passports same time as I am, what length of time do they have as maximum to which they have to travel to the US before it is expired? How long do they have in terms of time whereby they follow me to the states? :thumbs:


The time should be the same as yours since the date of issue would be the same. Bothyours (K1) and the kids (K2) would be good for 6 months.

I just hung up the phone with the U.S. Embassy in Manila. Aubrey is scheduled for her interview on Sept. 11th at 7:30am!! A very nice girl named Lorraine answered the phone. She said several interviews were issued Friday. They are processing the paperwork to send out this week. Well, I'm going to start looking for tickets!! Good luck to everyone.

After calling the State Department every day for the past 2-1/2 weeks I finally got Maria's interview date and on Friday the 13th. :yes: :dance: :yes: It turned out to be a lucky day for us. Maria's interview date is September 13th and the exam is on September 6th. I hope that those still waiting will soon receive good news on their K-1's.


After reading your post this morning, i told my fiance in the US to call the State Department first thing in the morning Monday and guess what, we also have our dates: August 29 (medical) and September 5 (interview). :dance: i'm so happy! thanks for your update and goodluck!

Yes you can find out by calling the Dept. of State. Theyare open from 0830-5:00pm est. All you need is your manilla number and they will give you your date, provided that Manila has received and processed your application with a medical exam date and interview date. It is hard not to check. I say, check all you want if it makes you happy!!!!! It made me happy checking 5-10 times a day. I think I got my frustration out of me by checking. If I went long periods of time without checking, I got anxious, until I could go log in and check!!!!! So in essence, if it makes you happy to check, then do it!!

I just mailed it today.hope everything will be ok. im second guessing my self if i did everything correct. i was looking at the copies that i sent in.i notice that i made some mistakes like little things, for instance the date. i just wrote 09/22/83 instead of writing the full year.1983.or i didnt make photo copies of everything i sent because i printed extra copies of the forms and save it in the computer. i might sound stupid or paranoid. but i just want everything to be perfect or the best that i can so that there is no delay or mistakes in the process....



It is natural to second guess yourself, but be rest assured you are stressing over nothing. just get ready to play the waiting game. It will be frustrating, but just keep yourself busy! Good Luck to you on your journey!

hi everyone, most of you now may be busy preparing for the interview but let me share the good news that we finally got our dates! August 29 (medical) and September 5 (interview). I've been quietly lurking this forum for the past weeks and was kinda 'jealous' that most of you made it to the June approval wave. For some reason, it took almost one month for our papers to travel from USCIS to NVC and finally reached the US embassy June 18 and therefore didn't make it to the June 12 cut-off.

Anyway, we have our dates and i'm happy. :whistle: Just a bit sad that i couldn't join your "bonding" hehehe... Goodluck to all of you and please do share your interview experience. :luv:

I mailed in my I-129f packet on July 28. I have proof from the UPS that someone had signed it off. I was wondering why I still have not receive my NOA1 and why they haven't cash the check. It's been 2 weeks. You would think they would cash the check by now. I emailed CSC.Nonotice@dhs.gov
and they said maybe my packet got lost in the mail and that to cancel my check and to send in another packet. Why would they say that? I asked them to check if my name is in their system. All they said is maybe it got lost in the mail. Do you think that person that responded to my email even checked their system to see if my name is in the system? Maybe they were just to lazy to check that's why they said it got lost in the mail. What do you guys think? I know I should be patient.. But I'm just worried because they haven't cash my check. Anyway have this problems. Please share. Thank you



Just be patient, they are probably overloaded with petitions. Many people filed to beat the increase. Good Luck to you on the rest of your journey!

Once we get the NOA2 they send the stuff to NVC right.. so do they notify you with an email or letter? or you just have to call NVC to find out? Thanks..



Once you are approved they will send it to NVC. They (USCIS) supposedly notify you by e mail, a letter, or you can input your case number on their site, and that should be updated with the correct information. Hope it helps and good luck to you !!
