K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	OCTOBER FILERS	Hello there, I just got married on 12th on the beach in Key West Back to normal life from vacation is..... Anyway, here's tips I'd like to share with you who is waiting for medical exam. For K-1 holder's next step is AOS, you know, and for AOS you need vaccination completion certification. Some submit DS-3025 worksheet as certification, and it looks OK when you complete all the required vaccine, according to AOS topics I searched. But if you have not complete at the time of your entry to US, then you need to ask a civil doctor to fill out I-693 Appendix A. I went to see a civil doc to get a shot of incomplete vaccine. This is the first time for me to go to clinic in foreign country, so I might be careless... The nurse gave me a correct vaccine and Tuberculin Skin Test and took my blood. I didn't ask what this blood was for. Today I understand why they needed my blood. They did HIV check again!! Also, Tubercurosis check too! I believe that doc wants extra money or just don't know updated info about K-1 holders. It cost me $300!! Make a long story short, I recommend you to get additional copy of your medical exam report if it is possible, and when you need I-693, you should mention you finished HIV & Tuberculosis test and bring report (maybe with the unuseful X-ray ;p) with you. I was in the U.S. as a university student for 5 years before.... and one of my best friends is having her wedding ceremony in August. I was asked to be bride's maid and am really looking forward to doing that..... I hope they do not ruin it....... So, anyway, I hope all October filers get approved soon. I got my passport back from embassy..... means K-1 visa in hand I'm moving to Miami on 8th, and then will start AOS as soon as possible.... i.e. start another journey. I know some people are still waiting for NOA2, got RFE... but I also know the people who got RFE were approved pretty quick after they sent back the evidence. I pray for you... Its not like they will think you are paying her off for HER visa. Maybe if it were the other way around, I would think it might be a red flag......I dont know, just saying ANyways, everything sounds as good as a real solid relationship can sound. We were NOT denied, BUT we were NOT approved...yet SO he got there this morning very early and totally prepared (or so we thought) and he was seen in under 2 hours. Unfortunetly the lady that saw him was soooo rude, she asked him for his papers and was just very rude and condescending the whole time and by the time she got to one of the last forms (DS156, i believe?) it had no barcode, it printed without a barcode and we tried a couple times and couldnt figure it out, so I thought maybe that is something they add there at the interview . I thought anyways that I had read that they could help him there if he could not print it out. So anyways, she basically THREW the papers back at him !! and said it has no barcode I will not do anything. She would not even explain anything to him, nothing ! Luckily, he got some help from a nicer lady at another window, and she explained to him, that it has to be printed from the computer WITH a barcode. Then she told him, wait lets set you up with another appt before you leave, she told him she didnt have anything until JULY !! BUT, she must have seen him really disappointed or who knows?? but he told me that she said Wait, let me see what I can do for you?? and she gave him an appt for April 30 !!!!! He feels so bad, like he did something wrong and let me down, but ofcourse he did absolutely nothing wrong. I told him, we can be sad but we shouldn't get depressed, becaause its not lost hope, its just slowed us down a tiny bit. In any case, if he gets approved on April 30th, we can still make the May 17th flight that we were hoping for !! Hey, we've been waiting almost 20 years to be together , whats an extra 12 more days for approval?? As long as we get it !!! NOW, I jst have to figure out, how to print a form with barcode !!! I can't believe that after all this waiting and waiting and more waiting I finally have just a TINY bit of waiting left ! The time has come, tommorrow morning is my fiance's interview!!!.... my stomach is doing flip flops, I am feeling nervous, anxious, elated, excited, impatient, scared, worried, happy and stressed all rolled up into one. We have all papers ready ...check We have gone over possible interview questions...check We have further discussed our future...check Clothes is ironed...check Cash in wallet...check 4 alarm clocks...check Gasoline in the car...check I think we are as ready for tomorrow as we can possibly be. I cannot be there with him pshysically, but I will be there in spirit. I am very confident in our relationship. I advised him to be confident, smile, be friendly and be honest. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Just purchased plane tickets but....	Hi guys, I need your help again !! I just purchased airline tickets for my fiance. He will be traveling in 2 weeks !!! YAAAYYY. But my question is this... he just recieved the letter saying his visa/passport is in transit on its way to DHL center for pick up, so I dont know if there will be any instructions or anything with that but...I bought a one way ticket through CopaAir (I got him a Business class seat under $800, yaaay !!!) but the agent tells me that he needs a round trip ticket, and that something I may consider is purchasing online a refundable return flight ticket, that I can later cancel once he arrives and get refunded. I guess I can do this if needed BUT..I know that with a K-1 he does not need a return ticket, also I dont want to go through the hassle of the purchase and the return if it is unnecessary. Please tell me, what does he have to present at the airport showing he does not need a return ticket? Is it safe to assume that by showing the Visa or maybe there is something on his passport that shows that he does not need a retrn ticket?? I hope my question makes sense !! soooo excited !!
