IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresCSC to TSC to NVC: the Saga continues
Hi everyone!

So I'm going over the VJ Guides... lots to read up on!

I have a question for you guys, not sure if anyone here might know the answer though. If not, I will call the NVC Monday and ask, but I thought I'd try here anyway :)

Here's the deal- I've been living in Miami since last summer, having moved here shortly after getting married. I wasn't sure for how many months I'd be staying at my current apartment in Miami so I've been using my parents' mailing address up north as my own up till now.

I'm about to send the DS-3032 out via email, and now I'm wondering if I should still use my parents' address from up north or use my apartment address in Miami.

Any thoughts from my more experienced friends out there?

No, i think all friends here sent their ds-3032 just they getting their numbers .. and recieved mails after the acceptance, one for acceptance and one as invoce to pay.saylin confirmed that to me

I really need to make time to read the VJ guides in depth :(

I received 2 emails from the NVC this morning:

The first at 1:29 AM with subject "ACL UNIVERSAL":

Dear Sir/Madam,

The attached correspondence relates to an immigrant visa referenced on the subject line. This case is being processed by the National Visa Center. Please read the information carefully and follow the instructions.

Then the second email at 1:35 AM with subject "PAOSF I-130 UNIVERSAL":

Dear Sir/Madam,

The attached correspondence relates to an immigrant visa referenced on the subject line. This case is being processed by the National Visa Center. Please read the information carefully and follow the instructions.

HaHaHa............................15 minutes after posting the above, my wife calls and tell me the Embassy called her!!!

She has her interview on March 18th at 7 AM, WoooooHoooooo She is so excited, I had to tell her to slow down because I had no idea what she was saying. She said they have sent her an email as well so i logged into her account and there were three, one for Packet 3, one for Packet 4 and the important one:

Dear Applicant:

Now I have to package the remaining paperwork from my end, review the link that they sent her in an email for the documents that she need to download, print and fill out. I'll have to overnight documents this weekend to Thailand........

I am going to hold off paying NVC for now, looks like I'll have to pay via the Embassy or it will be "overlooked"..................hmmmmmmmm, that would be nice.

Are they really going to be home in a few weeks???

A massive CONGRATS is in order bro, I am really very happy for you and your family :)

WOOHOOO !!!! :joy:

GREAT NEWS !!!! Just called the AVR (again) and now they have an NVC number for us... woohooo !!!!

Let me make sure I have this correct... Now, I need to....

1. Call operator... get IIN and give email addresses.
2. Send DS-3032 email (from "her" email of of course ;)
3. Log in and pay AOS fees (print barcode)
4. Send I-864 (with barcode)
5. Pay IV fees (print barcode)
6. Send IV Packet (with barcode)

This is correct, right??? A few days ago, I sent in an expedite request... so, hopefully steps 4 and 6 can be eliminated... but... either way.... we are moving (finally).

CONGRATS Erick!! +! for the team

Hey guys

OK.....I have a question that maybe no one really knows but I'll throw it out there.....Gary just called Knights bridge and they said that he PASSED his medical and they are forwarding it to consulate. Gary then called consulate and they told him once they receive the medical he will , " be taken out ofadministrative processing and contacted again". At his interview his officer said he realized the urgency of his case and would reunite him with his family as soon as possible. Am I grasping at straws here or do you think he is done? Why will they be contacting him again? What does it mean when they say they are going to take you out of administrative processing? From what I've read that is a good thing? UGGH..... I"m certain I have irritable bowel syndrome from all this.....Posted ImagePosted Image

I know I'm a little late in congratulating you guys, but hey- CONGRATS! More good news for you and more hope for the rest of us leftovers!

Hey Guys.....thank you for the very kind posts. Gary had his medical today and is now on the bus back to his moms. He had to have another shot and x-ray and the nurses at Knightsbridge said from THEIR point of view...all LOOKS FINE!!! Posted Image X-ray looked just fine according to the Tech. Gary called consulate and they said if he does NOT hear anything by Friday, that means the medical was fine and we should be on our way....VERY scared to get hopes up but...I AM GETTING EXCITED. I am going to throw the biggest party when this is over and invite every single one of our Visa Journey friends....I swear it feels like we are all war buddies. PEACE AND LOVE EVERYONE!!! I SOOOOOOOOO very much understand your feelings! My house is not empty but I am like a Zombie from this whole process and it does feel criminal to do this to people. I cry almost every night now, hide myself away in the bathroom so I don't upset my mom or son who are here with me. My mom is staying here right now until Gary gets back. Some days I don't even want to get out of bed and to make matters worse, I DON"T have a job anymore. I had a complete breakdown. I"ve always been a very happy go lucky person but this torture we have been put through has messed me up. Nothing will be ok until I have my Gary back home. Gary is going thru hell himself, living in a small bedroom in his moms house, he can't work because he needs a job HERE, not England. I sometimes wonder if I am a weak person and too sensitive, I always thought I was strong.

Take care everyone....sorry I sound so miserable, Being so very much in love with someone is a very scary place to be in times like this. You just want that person safe and next to you. Ok, I sut up now..Posted Image

Hi Val... I am so very sorry to hear about how your circumstance has taken such a negative toll on you guys :(

I looked back to all the posts we had all made starting several months ago, in the CSC-TSC thread- it really illustrated to me what sort of disgusting roller coaster ride we have all been through. I laughed when I saw how excited we all had gotten with our petitions being "touched" left right and center- only to realize a few weeks later that it was some buffoon hitting the "wrong boilerplate" I said it then and I said it again now- what the hell.

I cannot begin to imagine the toll things may have taken on you guys with the (pseudo)medical expedite you guys had been rightfully granted. All I can say is that I feel you guys are so, SO very close to being reunited Val... I'm hoping Gary gets his clearance soon and he can book that long-yearned-for one-way ticket ^_^

As we've been saying for MONTHS, keep the faith :D

Hey Saleem......no...my bad...I've not been checking private messages but I will....I'm not worried about the shadow really because I have read up so much about it that I'm certain Gary is fine. Just hoping that once this medical is approved, which it will be, that is the end and it will be quick. Since they kept Gary's passport I am guessing they really are ready to process. They told Gary as soon as he has had his medical to please call them and let them know. this has to be good news!!

I see you are in NVC stage...praying for ya! Posted Image

Yes, finally got my stuff mailed to the NVC... we need all the prayers we can get, it's going to be our 1-year anniversary mid-July and it doesn't look like we'll be together by then

Hey all......

We are still here and alive. The continued separation from Gary is unbearable but I believe we should be almost done. I do have a question if anyone knows. What is holding us up it seems is the medical. Gary had a shadow on his lung because when he went for his first medical he had a terrible chest cold. he had his interview, consulate officer was EXTREMELY nice, asked him a few questions, noticed we had been expedited from USCIS stage and offered sympathy when he heard we were in the California Texas mess. Here is my question and I am guessing everything is OK. The officer told Gary that he understands the urgency to get his family reunited but Gary has to take another medical. it's scheduled for June 8th? Gary asked the officer if this means he is approved and the officer said...with a smile...we will reunite you and your family as soon as possible and they kept Gary's passport. Gary called consulate call center and in their records it shows they are waiting on approved medical and then they are processing to completion, any opinions on this situation?it seems pretty straight forward but after Texas we are very gun shy and scared. ok..PLEASE pray , I am so tired emotionally and so is Gary....I"ve been reading here but not posting because I've been feeling so down at times. CONGRATS to EVERYONE who has been reunited with their loved ones. Never take for granted on SECOND you get to spend with your spouse , when you can just reach out to them and give them a hug, or just sit with them in person, sleep with them and the beauty of waking up with them by your side. Peace and love to all of you!!!

Hi Val, I'm not sure that you're checking your private messages so I'll just post here...

I'm praying for you guys, I hope that you two are reunited very soon.

In regards to the lung shadow, as you may know there are many causes for such a thing to show up on a chest x-ray. I wouldn't panic at all until the second round of imaging studies come back. I know, easy for me to say, but really, there are so many cause of this type of result that worrying will simply continue to drain your emotional/mental reservoir.

Much love to the both of you! :)

-Saleem

Still nothing from USCIS for me. And I can't believe there are still people from June and July on the spreadsheet who haven't gotten approved yet.

Hi you guys, sorry to hear about the ####### you guys are being subjected to.
