I didnt know what I was doing so I sent the DS-3032 to NVC Inquiry and NVC Electronic as well as the OPTIN to NVC electronic just to find out that I recived this nasty little email saying this: This petition is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. I scanned in all 42 pages for the I-864, and they come to 24.6 MB. The trick is...I can't seem to get them compressed. I don't have Adobe Acrobat, and I can't download it (shared computer). I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 9, which does not appear to have a PDF compression method. I did try to download a "free" PDF compression kit, but it had a virus, so yuck. Not sure what other options there may be. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2012	I called DoS today to see if our case has been assigned an interview date but no dice I will call NVC tonight after 10:30PM to check if one is assigned. If not, I will continue to call both sites next week until we are told my wife's interview date. (Hopefully sometime in August!) Anybody else notice DoS line is not as user-friendly? lol After connecting for a visa specialist it rings like 30 times then finally an automated operator says to please wait for the next available agent then it goes back to ringing. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2012	I am totally bummed I had a major health crisis, and it's wiped out all my savings, to the point I had to pawns jewelry to pay the electric company and borrow money from family to pay rent. Bad times. I had hoped that money would be coming in this weekend to bring everything to positive values (and to pay for our AOS and IV paperwork!), but it is not going to happen. Looks like now I have to wait for my next paycheck, which is on the last day of June. I am so frustrated - called NVC daily, dealt with angry operators, hoped and prayed for a quick case number assignment...and now stuck waiting till July to pay and file. >.< You are allready in the clear, you are in NVC stage and you have recovered form your health crisis which is what matters the most not only for you but your spouse too. Start prepping all the docs to send them in once the fees are paid What was on the AOS checklist that you didn't send? Just curious. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	May 2010 I-751 filers	We also got an RFE - ours was saying the petition was filed late, when it wasn't. I tried to call them to make sure our RFE stuff had been received, they had no record of the RFE itself, or our response. Weirdly, the very next day my husband's GC was approved. I'd call USCIS and once you explain nicely to the initial person who answers the call that you want to ensure your RFE response was received, they should transfer you up a level and they can (or should be able) to tell you more about the status of your case. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	May 2010 I-751 filers	It is very understandable what you are saying, but in USCIS's eyes - these are the types of signals they get form people who are marrying for immigration purposes only. Did you send affidavits? If not, find two or three people and get them put together. Of course I did! I sent 2 people's affidavits. Maybe I have to send another 10? Also, I sent car/medical insurance, joint tax returns and family photos.... I guess USCIS wants to see more financial docs. I'm gonna have my husband add me into his bank account and credit account immediately so that I can send statement by deadline. Though I really hate to do, but no choise!
