Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	December 2009 Filers	Really , did you see any "touch" or "LUD" after your second fingerprinting ? How many many days after your secon bio were you approved ? hmmm...there were no touches whatsoever on my file after my first biometrics. It was 2 weeks after the first bio that i got another letter from the mail that i need to go in for a second one, as the first ones were unreadable per the FBI. So on Jan 14 I went in for the retake. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	December 2009 Filers	Hopefully but probably they are processing december as well , like my case , they must have picked up my file and saw that the first fingerprints were not proper and they scheduled another one , I was so relieved to hear that the second prints were readable when I called the FBI customer service today It was the same with me. I had to go back to the ASC to get my fingerprints retaken, good thing I went in for an early Bio. Had my prints retaken on the original date of my appointment and kept my fingers crossed that I won't need to go back for a third one...me and my sweaty palms...aargh!	mikeandlani	Male	Philippines	2010-03-02 16:16:00

On March 2, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. Woohoo! Now to do the dance of joy! And just in time too, as i need to renew my driver's license tomorrow. Travel Advisory from US Embassy Manila Please share this with your friends and relatives. Please be informed of the recent travel advisory to the United States . I thank Tarde for this piece of information. However, not only pirated VCDs/DVDs are on the hot list. Customs officials are also looking into fake bags like Louis Vuitton, Coach, etc. Ple ase be informed that the American Association of Publishers (AAP) has also alerted the American customs officers to check out for pirated books. This information; was given to me by Patricia Judd of the AAP. Please warn all nursing graduates who plan to take the NCLEX and CGF exams in the States not to bring in these pirated books because there will be a penalty of automatic deportation as violation of intellectual property rights. If you know anyone going from the Philippines and coming back to the USA , with "pasalubongs" and "padalas," please read this important enclosed advisory from the American Embassy in Manila . Please share with your friends. Just a friendly reminder: if you have plans of going to the U.S. , please take precautionary measures on all "padalas," especially those containing fake/pirated compact discs/DVDs. US Embassy employees have been given an advisory that as US Gov't employees, we should abide by the U.S.laws, including Intellectual Property Rights (anti-piracy) laws. As an additional incentive, the Consular Section recently received a report that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) searched the bag of a Filipino entering the U.S. on NW 72 in Detroit . During the search, 70-80 compact discs, 30-40 empty DVD jackets and 10-20 DVDs were found. Since the travelers were not American citizens, their visas were canceled and they returned to the Philippines . Nevertheless during my medicl exam i have talked to other applicants that they're packet arrived 3 days before their interview thats why they were a bit stress, in short as long as you can complete your medical exam before your interview that will be fine but doing it 1 week b4 the interview can lessen the stress. I will advice you also avoid going to saint lukes monday, tuesday there are many applicants. better go on thursday so can finish it friday. Im supposed to go there thursday but i had an emergency so i went on friday there were smaller numbers of applicants ( im done at 10:30 am) compared when i went back on monday for vaccination and released. Medical exm usually last for 2 todays depending on the results of your blood test and x ray. I arrived there at 7:30 am because i had a hard time looking for the place. Good luck i hope my experienced help you in anyway. People at saint lukes are very nice and friendly dont worry, very systematic in handling patients just always refer to the reception area every floor they tell you to go through. She asked me the following questions: My bday, my husband's name & bday, wat his work if he owns the house here, where did we met and when, how long have we been married, how old is he and how old i am.. It went smoothly in the Filipino pre-screener then she said that i will go back to seat and wait for my name to be called for the finger scanning. I waited again for about 30 mins. then my name was called in window 33 for the finger scanning then back to seat again. After 30 minutes i was called for the final interview in window 28 f i remember it correctly.. The consul was friendly i greeted him with a smile and i said good morning he said good mornng too.. The consul look young in mid 30's i think. He said that he will only ask me few questions.. His questions were almost the same to what the pre-screener asked me. He look at the photos one by one and read the caption in it he smiled and told me that for sure Keith, my husband, loves me so much since we have 2 weddings and he even let his whole family come here in the Philippines during our church wedding hahaha i noded and smiled at him..He asked also if it does not hard for us that we are not in the same religion, since, Keith is a presbyterian and im a catholic.. i said that religion where never been the issue n our relationship since we believe in the same savior, Jesus Christ, he smiled again and after a few minutes of checking our documents he said congratulations ur approved. I said, thank you. And i ask if can i request for visa pick-up he said sure when u want to get the visa? I said does it ok on Friday? He said that he can't promise but he will try. Then after that i asked him if they did able to received Congressman Bartley's assistant (Ashley) email about the request for visa pick in our case..He laugh and said wow ur husband gets the congressman for the request and he said we will try on friday. Then i said thank you. He said ur welcome and told me to go to window 38 for further instructions. When i went to window 38 they return to me my photos, cards, email and voice & chat transcipt and gave me a pink stub. I put thr my contact number and complete name and signed it. He gave me the other half and advised me to wait for a call for visa pick-up. I got my visa Dec. 11, 2007 at window 33. They gave me the packet and instructed me not to open it this will be needing in my Port of Entry. I'm now finally with my Husband. I leave Philippines last Dec 12, 2007 6:40am. And my Port of Entry is in Detroit.. So far people there are so kind and I have no problem in there. I hope that this experienced will help other members of this forum who are still not finish the journey. As to your CEMAR problem, i agree with prettyfacenbody, you should get a copy of the CEMAR and scrutinize all the details thereon, and if everything checks out as you know it to be, might as well get a copy of the Marriage Certificate, from there you can well verify if the person referred therein is really your fiancee or an entirey different person, as the marriage certificate contain more detailed information of the contracting parties vs. the CEMAR. She checked for scars on my wrists and she saw a tiny one. She asked what it was and I told her I got it from a cat who scratched my left arm long ago. She asked if I have history of TB or have been living with a person who has one, have taken marijuana, shabu or cocaine and all my answers were no. After 15 mins or so, we were glad to be out of her room. During our eye exam I found out that my daughter has 50/25 vision and she now needs glasses. I on the other hand has 20/25. They took my urine and blood sample and x-ray. They didn't do anything with my daughter except physical and eye exam. We presented our PDS forms at the check out counter and told us to come back on Dec. 26 for my daughter's Tuberculin Skin Test and our vaccination. They couldn't do it the next day because of the Christmas holidays. They needed like to 3 days to read the results. They gave us back our passports and official receipts with a note stapled saying we come back on 8 am Wednesday. We were out of the clinic by 10:30 am. I hope this is helpful for people who will be having their medical. hi raquel, we have the same interview date. went for my medicals on the 26th and got my results yesterday. i'm really thankful it went very well, although not as fast as i wanted it to be. now waiting for the january 30 interview as well. hope to see you at the USEM grounds and goodluck to us.
