I received my NOA2 on 5/24 but was lasted touched on 5/29. I am assuming my case did not get mailed until 5/29 - how long can I expect it to take before it reaches the NVC? In the past, I've heard petitioners must purchase the beneficiary a round-trip open ended airline ticket home. This is to remove the government's liability to return the beneficiary home if marriage does not occur in 90 days. Is this true? Philippines	Passport sized pictures	Prior to filing my I-129F petition, my fiancée had a bunch of passport size pictures taken. We still have several left. Can she use these pictures for her remaining paperwork that requires pictures or does she need to have new pictures taken? The I-129F pictures were taken in September of 2010. Thanks. Philippines	Called USCIS today	Called USCIS today, even though I am under 5 months. Got the regular run around with the Tier 1 operator. I asked why petitions that where just recently filed were being approved. She stated that it was because some petitions are easier than other. I asked how did they know that mine was not going to be easy and she didn't have an answer. Told me that a service request could not be requested since I was under 5 months. I requested a Tier 2 ISO. On hold for about 20 minutes. Talked to the Tier 2 ISO. She requested my name, address, DOB and receipt number. I again asked why petitions that where just recently filed were being approved. She maybe they were military expedites or from TSC. I told her no. They are just regular I-129F petitions just like mine. She then told me that petitions are not processed in the order that they are received. Adjudicators just grab petitions and process them. There is not anything that tells them that they need to be processed on a first-in first-out methodology. At first she told me that she could not put in a service request since I was under the 5 month mark by 14 days. I told here that I was only under by 5 days since my receipt date is October 5 2010. She didn't have an answer for that. I pressed on further and she eventually told me that she could override the part about me being under and would submit a request. She told me that if I had not heard anything in 14 days I can call back. I'm not waiting that long. My 5 months is up in 5 days so I'll be calling back then. I don't know if it will do any good but I had to try anyway. I am getting pretty peeved about nothing happening and would like to see some progress. On another note. When I called USCIS I did not press any keys on my phone so I could talk directly to an operator. It is very interesting because not pressing phone keys assumes that you have a rotary phone and the Tier 1 operator you get speaks Spanish. Do they just assume that if you are calling from a rotary phone that you speak Spanish? The same happened when I was transferred to the Tier 2 ISO. Philippines	Best day for medical & interview	Here's an efficient schedule: > Monday.............Take the first flight of the day to Manila...check into the hotel...complete day one of the medical exam...she can inform St. Lukes that her interview is on Thursday and arrange with them for her to hand-carry her medical results and passport to her interview. > Tuesday............Complete day two of the medical exam. > Wednesday.......Complete the CFO seminar. > Thursday..........Complete the interview in the morning...fly home in the late afternoon. After she passes her interview and 2GO courier service delivers her brown envelope, passport and visa, she will need to go back to the CFO office and get her CFO stamp on her visa. She will not be able to leave the Philippines without it. Or, she can wait until she gets her passport and visa after her interview and then go to the seminar then after completion go to the CFO office and get her stamp. Philippines	2GO Courier Service	Ok, getting real close to scheduling my fiancée's interview. I understand that I am supposed to indicate where she wants the visa delivered to on the scheduling site. My dilemma is that when I look up her city (Panabo) on the serviceable area location finder on the 2GO site it says that her city is "out of town". This means that they have no office in her city. What I can't figure out is if they deliver there anyway. Maybe she must pick up the visa in a nearby city (Davao would be closest), but which office? Why do they have to make it difficult? Can I ask what the first couple numbers are of your UID number? When I first tried to schedule and exited the site after messing up the child's passport number, the lady on the phone told me UID numbers for them that started with 1005xxxx. However, after talking to her and going to the Schedule an Appointment link, they received different UID numberers on their appointment verification files. This time the numbers start with 5000xxxx. I'm curious what yours starts with. -James Well, I think that there is just something really screwed up with their system. I decided to get up real early and try a re-schedule. Philippines	What am I doing wrong!!!	Now I'm worried. Back on my post someone has brought up something about a warning on the appointment scheduling links that they are for SB-1 visas only. It says that my interview appointment won't work for other visas. I didn't see that warning, yet I did what I've read to do and was told to do on the phone. I hope that I didn't make a mistake and now have to change the date. How did you get to the appointment scheduling pages you were on? Did you go the same route as I listed in my post through the K-Visa Appointment Scheduling link? Did you see the warning? I'm wondering if you took a different route than I did. Maybe yours is correct and there is a problem with doing K-1 visa online right now. Maybe I went to the wrong links and that's why it worked, yet I will run into more problems later.
