Finally So if you got a bunch of touches but no approval or rfe, call the USCIS service center and go to the RFE section of the menu and get conencted to an operator. I followed your advice and they told me I was approved on May 7......Thanks for the tip!! I had quite the little pity party with a bottle of wine, but got back on track this morning and got everything sent out, express mail. It should arrive either tomorrow or thursday. I did not receive an email notification or anything, just got it by snail mail. Hopefully we will get an approval soon. Jen Sorry to hear about your RFE! I never heard back...but I guess w/ your end of school year hectic time, you probably haven't had a chance. Go get the books, you'll have some good times reading and take your mind off things. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	K1 Petition	I see a lot of 'touches' from the Vermont Service Center and none to very few from the California Service Center. What does this mean??? Either Vermont is kicking butt and taking names and California is sitting on their hands, or Vermont just tends to log when they do something to a petition and California does not have batteries for their scanners. As a general rule, a 'touch' doesn't really mean much of anything. Someone may have moved your petition from pile 'A' to pile 'B' or to a box in a storage area. The only thing that matters is when a decision has been made and you receive your NOA2. Some people have arrived in the US, adjusted their status and still show as in initial review on the USCIS site. Your mileage may vary. Good luck on your journey. Unfortunately, I now regret having posted my quick random sincere thoughts of concern for all those who have waited longer than I for their approvals. This will be my last on this site for sure. I did not ask for an expedite or to be rudely judged or mocked by others. As a therapist myself, I see all kinds of people each day but admit to being surprised by such ugliness on a forum that is intended to support each other. I don't understand why. I do however appreciate all I have learned here from many of you and for the kindness of many. Have a good evening. Don't let the comments from the few dissuade you from continued learning from the many here that are helpful. I know that it can be frustrating at times. Just block the rude comments out and focus on the positive ones. I wish you a continued happy journey whether you decide to stay or feel you must go. Good luck to you and your loved one. I will have Lourdelie go to the Singapore Embassy prior to her interview and see if she can get a Statutory Declaration, if the cost is not too much. Other than that, we are at the mercy of the CO and the State Department since they are the ones that refuse to update the reciprocity table for Singapore. Very happy for your visa approval. The important thing is that you recover quickly and that both of you realize that you are not the only ones going through this long drawn out process.
