US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	tracking case number	Tracking at the Argentine Embassy = Non existant. 1- Embassy's Phone number = useless (it's only for tourists and such) 2- Embassy's E-mail = nearly useless (e-mail them and pray for an answer) 3- Embassy's website = useless (hasn't been updated in 3 years) 4- Embassy's Fax = useless (see #1) sigh I wonder if there's an Embassy complaint department. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Plane Ticket Planning - Embassy Interview	I already bought my fiance's tickets, but they're for mid January. The reason why I bought them so early and for such a late date is because I'll be going over to Argentina/Paraguay for the holidays and to help him pack and get ready and then we'll fly back together....and it's nearly imposible to buy tickets at that time of the year unless you buy them months in advanced. I made sure the dates could be changed if anything goes wrong (hope not!), I would just pay a $50 fine if the date does change, but I have the flexibility to change it, which is nice! US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	please help....	You can file I-131 for Advance Parlole along with your I-485 for AOS. The I-131 is normally completed in 60-90 days. Trust me, I have They just never answer any of them. I just wanted to know if the case arrived, I have to pay $8. I want to know if my taxes have to be notorized, pay $8. I want to know if my fiance can go pick up packet 3 instead of having it mailed , pay $8. My fiance is ready for his interview, pay $8. This is is insane. My hubby actually had to make the trip to the Embassy and pick up a duplicate packet 3 & 4 in person. That's a great idea. Without the appointment letter your fiance won't be able to get into the consulate to have her/his interview. I wish we could call them, but the only form of communication for this type of visa is through e-mail. The phone number is only for tourist and visitors visa. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	What the heck would you do in a situation like this	So my fiance's had his interview scheduled for next week for almost a month now, but the interview letter (packet 4) is MIA. We have tried to contact the embassy a million times to find out when they're gonna send it...but they seem to be ignoring us. From what I was told, he needs to show the interview letter to be allowed into the embassy....Sigh. I'm so sick of them. I'm so sick of having to bug them about everything!! Why do they have to make everything so difficult! If it wasn't for me e-mailing them 450 times (they only seem to reply to my e-mails, they never reply to his e-mails), NOTHING would have been done. He never received packet 3, I had to ask for it. When he sent packet 3 back, they never even acknowledged it. I had to bug them to find out what the hell was going on. Then I had to ask when the interview would be. That's the last time we heard from them. Now the interview date is approaching and the interview letter is MIA. Sigh.
