Not only is it incredibly BAD customer service, but... Now they are sending the I-130s to CSC too?? Why send them somewhere where they know they will be waiting for ages? Where is the logic to this? It's apparently true. There's a topic about it in the spouse visa forum. Seems they're transferring VSC people to CSC. That makes a lot of sense, doesn't it? Who are you to talk anyway, you applied in MAY and in CSC, so get used to waiting. MY service center is better than YOUR service center!!! Nya Nya Nya! Mexico, Latin & South America	This is ridiculous	So even though we HAVE the visa I can't buy a bloody plane ticket to get him out of Paraguay. I am so unbelievably frustrated. After calling Lan Chile countless times to find the best price fare and the best itinerary the guy I talked to yesterday was like "I can't sell you the ticket". I was like whaaaaaaaat. He tells me that they could only issue me a paper ticket because it's technically not LAN leaving asuncion, but another carrier that works with them so it cant be electronic. (Which means for every 10 Lan reps only one knows what he's talking about). I said lets make it for a later date and mail me the ticket and then I mail it to him and they said that they cant do it. They cant issue me the paper ticket because of something about asuncion, i dont even understand anymore. So i said well how can someone LEAVE paraguay to the united states then. (I mean it's been done before for goodness sakes!!!) He says he has to go to a travel agency and they'll issue him a ticket. I said but I'm the one paying!!!!!!! They said well perhaps you can try calling different ones and see if one of them will accept your credit card over the phone. So of course, I have a visa and a mastercard and they'll only take american express. I mean OF COURSE!!! Why is this country SO DIFFICULT!??! So now I have to send him $1000. GREAT. They always manage to screw it up when I said $80, I can't wait to see what they do with my bloody $1000. Not to mention the fact that it's going to be oh so safe for him to walk around with that amount of cash on him. Blame TAM, it's all their fault. They don't issue electronic tickets. I heard that sometimes it doesn't get updated because cases stay at the NVC for such a short time. Seldi, You have to keep calling them, one time, you will be able to speak with an operator live. Anyway, feel free to ask questions. By the way, I am a huge Argentina 'Futbol' fan. I was sad to see them lost to Germany in the penalty shootout. I think, Pekerman should have brought Messi or Aimar instead of Cambiasso when he replaced Riquelme. This substituion was the cause, otherwise, it could have been 2-0 for Argentina. I just talked to a live operator, and she was very nice and helpful. It turns out that my petition is already on its way to Argentina! I was pretty shocked, their automated system kept telling me that they had not receive my case yet. I'm so happy for you! This will go so fast now.... The same thing happened to me. The automated message didnt even have a record of my petition...then the operator told me it was sent a week ago! Wow!! You already have an appointment scheduled???!! That's great! It turns out that my petition is already on its way to Argentina! I was pretty shocked, their automated system kept telling me that they had not receive my case yet. She gave me the following tips: *Don't wait for a letter from them stating that they've received your case or that it's been forwarded. Unlike NOAs, they don't always send one. *Do not use their automated system. It is not accurate and doesn't get updated. Give them a call at 603-334-0700, press 1 for English, then press 5 to speak to a live operator. BE PATIENT. You might not get through the first time, but keep trying. Simple: On the home page 'State Country' USA Point to 'Track' on the menu bar - then select 'Track by Reference' In 'Reference' type in - expedite iv section Then enter the dates from and to Click on 'Track' at the bottom of the screen Just check daily to see when a parcel left for your embassy - there's no guarantee that your case is in that particular package but its a good indication. Ours took approx 2 weeks to appear on screen but once it arrives in the country it takes a couple of days to get to the embassy. I would suggest that you send an email to the embassy asking them to let you know when they receive your case. Which is what we did and sure enough they complied. Wow, that is by far the best tip I've heard on VJ. Thank you!!! I don't see any signs of my package eventhough NVC claims to have mailed it on 7/26. National Visa Center (Dept of State)	Case has just been sitting at NVC since 7/14	I talked to someone on the phone and she said it was received on july 24th and forwarded on the 26. And then on the 28th, I got a letter, dated July 27 that said my case had just been received and that it would be forwarded in a week. Who the ####### am I suppose to believe?
