K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	birth certifiacte matters?	The embasy asked me to send the original birth certifiacte. I dont have one so they called me and asked about it. I said that I never got one. All I can give you is the national ID card (it has more value in our country) and school records shwoing the date of births, father name etc. Do you think it is a problem and they can deny our case if we dont give them the birth certificate? My fiance is going through the same thing right now. In Argentina, they keep your official birth certificate at the national record center (or something like that, I don't remember the specific name) and give you a national ID card. You can request for a copy of your birth certificate, but not the actual, original certificate. He is still waiting for an answer from the embassy. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I'm in UK, pregnant but fiance is a permanent resident. I want to have my child in USA. What are my options.	Why is it so important to have your baby here? A pregnancy is stressful enough, why add unnecessary stress? If your fiance becomes a USC, eventually you and your child will too. The only thing your child wont be able to do if he isn't born here is run for presidency. Just my humble opinion. I'll send them a dictionary ...through DHL...so then it'll travel the world before getting to Vermont, probably damaged...if it ever makes there and someone at their facility doesn't steal the package. Luckily, my bank posts my cashed checks online so I could access the case number. Then I went online to register for online updates on the USCIS website. Soon after it was cashed, I got my NOA1. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Waiting for approval abraod?	I'm somewhat considering waiting for approval in Morocco. The main reason is because I miss my man (It's been three weeks since we've been separated, and i was planning a trip in december but that seems so long...) But I don't know if that's advisable, or if it would affect the approval in any way (for good or bad.) First of all, I know I would have to find a cosponsor, because I would kind of have to quit my job. Is anyone on this forum doing that? It's fine. The only things you need to be concerned with are RFEs. Do you have someone to help you should you get one? Also it's good to try to take care of as much of the affidavit stuff as you can before you go, IMO. I agree.
