GET HIM TO GIVE YOU A REPORT ON HOW HE WENT I KNOW THERE WILL BE A FEW WANTING TO KNOW HOW IT ALL WENT... HOPE EVERYONE THAT IS MOTHER'S HAD A LOVELY DAY.. mine, well robie bought me more plants and a gorgeous card and cooked tea .... then he said to me ok (this is at midnight sat going into sunday) we gotta go out.. so we went to krogers... he had received an email from my daughter to ask if he would buy some flowers and get a card for me... she had written in the email what to put in the card...well i got the surprise of my life when he went out of the store while i was looking for some stubby holders lol... got home an said there is something in the back for ya ..and there were a dozen red pink and yellow roses.. opened the card and tear rolled down .. this is what my daughter wrote to me dear mam, happy mothers day No matter how far away you are to us, you mean the world and we will never stop thinking about you. Thanks for being there for us throughout the years. And we are glad that your happy and safe we love you lots diane & peter xxx now ya gotta understand my daughter is 22 years old.. and was a rebel...gave me so much heart ache lol so now she is all grown up she now appreciates what i had done for her...a miracle ...lol so that was my mothers day.. i rang my mum ...my sis took her out ... will catch up on all the posts tomorrow.. Asia: East and Pacific	LAND DOWNUNDER	hi ya all well hammy will be definetly in his wifes arms or sleeping from the long flight ... hope all went well for you hampster and your poe wasnt that bad... sharyna if you look in previous posts or in my posts there are links and forms posted for the vaccination sheet... you get blood tests to see if you ammune...get it put on medicare...then get your doc to print out and sign the results of the tests for you to take with you to the medical..also save anything the pathologist gives you as receipts at what date you had it taken...also they have to sight your passport and a form to be signed too.. hope its not too much longer before you get your NOA2... we had an absolute storm yesterday..it threw it down...i couldnt believe how much rain came down.. the thunder sounded like it was surround sound inside the apartment thats how loud it was...wish i could push the rain towards oz though.... hi lyndel how you doing mate...did you get your ssn yet in the mail...hows the kitty ...talk to you soon mate take care kath	Kath	Female	Australia	2007-05-10 20:43:00

Asia: East and Pacific	LAND DOWNUNDER	HI YA HAMMMY i wouldn't worry too much on your departure its your landing in LAX where they will be more intersted in which type of visa you are using mate...just have the brown envelope handy to hand into the offficer..we went into the US citz line .. but you can ask the attendents which you can go in... i left melbourne and all they wanted was my passport and boarding pass..also make sure you have plenty of time to walk to your gate...if your getting duty free at the airport take that into consideration when walking to your gate... i didnt mind the sydney airport for flying out with china mate...you will be right mate.. hi girlfromoz how you doing mate ..have you applied yet for your ssn...and how is the job hunting going..home depo in colardo springs were after people mate...it absolutely poored down here ..we had a tornado warning today...the sirens went off ...so i put the tv on to check the weather out.. so i went down to the laundry like robbie told me to do and the siren went off ..nothing happened thank goodness...but sure was a bit daunting .when ya not use to it... kath	Kath	Female	Australia	2007-05-01 18:37:00

Asia: East and Pacific	LAND DOWNUNDER	hi loke and rings how you doing,.... ohh i bet you two are getting excited now .. not long to go whoooo hoooo...enjoy make each moment a memorable one... loke do you have an employer...a letter from them is a good one to take too...i wouldnt worry too much mate i went over while my pettition was being processed i took all those things with me ..and they didnt even ask for them...i stated i was visiting my fiance when asked...im sure you will be fine mate...have a safe flight...if you havent flown before take a sleeping tablet will help ya out.. also walk around the plane whenever you can and do the exercises ...stretch your muscles .... drink plenty of water about a few days before you leave as well as on the day ...it helps.... you will be given forms to fill out on the plane before landing to hand in with your passport....your entering on the waiver visa...usually on the plane they play a notice stating what kind of forms you are to ask for .... hope you have a great time in colarado mate enjoy...take plenty of pics together as added evidence for your interview and save your boarding tickets and itenary ... and no offense but ya a male .. they done think of things till the last minute ...lol stir stir sharyna dont worry on your own fiances its your fiance that has to worry on his mate...but i would get your taxes all up todate before you leave australia... take care kath	Kath	Female	Australia	2007-04-30 23:35:00

Asia: East and Pacific	LAND DOWNUNDER	hi ya all ok had a go at doing that map .. will you click on the link below and see if you can add yourself ..or anyone else for that matter to see if it works. if it doesnt well i will work something else out.. the data base side of things of dates and such will have to be done manually because i dont think this can be added to the website... so will do a search on all of you if you dont mind who is waiting and what for and what date you got your approvals and interview dates.. hi hollywood..you could give NVC a phone call to ask about your case number would be cheaper than phoning sydney..the number will be on the letter that you should of received stating it has been sent to sydney consulate. sharyna ... your right about the fiancial side of things coming from the petitioner...but when you go for your interview the orginal filled out and signed by your fiance/spouse is to be with you at the interview so therefore that is why it is in hampster's list of what to take to the interview..he didnt take any of his own finacial details to his interview..only his wife's eg. tax transcripts, W2's, bank statements and employer letter k1 and k3 =I-134 affidavit of support cr1 =I-184 affidavit of support hi rings how you doing mate whooo hoo for the 10 days to go quickly... hi hammy yeah mum is doing just fine thanks mate... well i did my volunteering today..was great.. counting out pills sticking on the labels serving customers .. using the cash register (which i thought i would be scared stiff of but wasnt) general tidying up when nothing to do ...was great i so enjoyed it...the pharmacist asked if i had worked in a chemist before ...lol the only downer was walking in the rain to get home lol and catching up on all my emails from VJ lol so now i am offically out amongst the yanks lol take care kath	Kath	Female	Australia	2007-04-26 18:07:00

Asia: East and Pacific	LAND DOWNUNDER	hiya pris as HD said..they either issue it the day before...not heard anything since hammy did his interview about getting it on the same day.. your best bet would be to get it mailed out to you...that way you dont activate your visa..and when you go back to oz its there waiting for you...(i am assuming your coming to the states for holidays lol).... ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh penny just dropped...you would need ya passport huh if ya coming over here...will have to look around for that answer pris...wondering if the CR1 is the same as the K3 visa...because with the k3 your allowed to go back and re-enter...will do some research for ya.. take care kath ps... ok just took a look...read this and see if it helps ya out...If your relative is your wife or husband and you have been married for less then 2 years at the time of his/her arrival at a port of entry, then he/she will receive a temporary I-551 Stamp and then later a Green Card by mail good for only 2 years. found that in the guides..so now all ya gotta work out is how long after you arrive in the states does it take you for your greencard to arrive...take a look at hammy's or davidA's timelines see how long it took them from arriving here to getting the actual card in there hands... gawd i hope that helped out somewhat mate.. kath Edited by Kath, 29 November 2007 - 08:34 PM.
