Asia: East and Pacific	LAND DOWNUNDER	well done kaffy yaaaaaaaaaaaaay woman.. now go organise mine will ya lol were getting married on the 1st july at toledo providence metro park.. on a canal barge...while the horses pull us up the canal we will get married.. well this is the latest idea from robbie.. am leaving it all up to him to organise lol...we were going to get married in a gazebo but that was going to be 150 dollars and he was pointed to weather an if we get rained on the boat has cover for us an the guests...he was so excited tellin me about it on the bus one the way home lol... hes gunna go to the court house where ministers wait and ask one of them to marry us ... then afterwards where going back to the apartment where they have a hall we have booked for a reception..we also got a few aussies from a room meet .. even my sis from uk is lookin at coming an my mum an sis from oz... dont know if it will all turn out .. i dont really care as long as the minster sez you are now man an wife...lol kath	Kath	Female	Australia	2006-04-13 20:22:00

Asia: East and Pacific	LAND DOWNUNDER	hi ya all well after a very stressful day at work..customers everywhere i was about to say stuff this im going home ...but i stuck it out till knock off time an went home.. got home went online an low an behold an email from sydney advising us that our application has been extended to 14th august and they have set an interview date has been given for the 16th of june.. i was so excited forward the email to robbie who was waiting for me to sign into msn but i just had to ring him... dialed the number like 3 times each time i got the pin number wrong...then i finally said to myself come on concentrate lol.. an i got through ..robbie sounded as excited as me ...was such a relief from the stress of the week ..it flew out the window as soon as i read the email... so now my darling hubby can come to my interview with me an see a bit of sydney an see where my daughter lives .. i havent even seen it either so we are all excited about it.. will tell the family tomorrow when we go shopping..my sis wasn't impressed that i have to go up to sydney but i agree...if all the states have an embassey why make you spend airfares money to attend an interview ... arrh well thats government departments for you.. so we are back on track once again an happy with the end result take care all smiling big time tonight kath ps thanks for all ya help too this week ... Asia: East and Pacific	LAND DOWNUNDER	hi ya all well low an behold i get a letter from sydney....not the letter i really wanted but i got one... sydney has not replied to our letter of extension to have our interview in june but given me a packet 4 letter stating my interview date is 11th april... i have emailed them stating what we had sent to them an our request so there ya have it...and attached the letter of extension from robbie so now i got robbie worrying if he dont get all this support stuff to me if they insist on me having the interview on tuesday if he will get it to me in time... so we are in a pickle to what to do.. im so disappointed that this has happened...why on earth have they not taken any notice of our extension letter an given me a damm interview date that i didnt want in the first place... maybe i should auction it off at ebay see what i get for it ...lol robbie was so wanting to share this part of the journey with me as all the other achievements and hurray'ssss we were apart like most of us on this journey... well will wait an see if i get a damm reply from them by the way is there anyway i can call these idiots an sort this out .. i remember trying before i left for the states last time and all i got was a recoreded message...any ideas would be gratefully suggested on the phoning side of things... an dont worry too much on us we will be fine got this far with no trouble which we were thankful for... take care sighhhhhhhhhhh kath	Kath	Female	Australia	2006-04-04 05:52:00
Asia: East and Pacific	LAND DOWNUNDER	hi ya stella why dont you enquire how long a sweeden police check is valid for and how long it would take for one to be sent to you...i know the australian one is valid for 12 months along with the medical...maybe get them at the same time that way you dont have to worry about one ending before the other...it takes roughly two weeks to receive your australian one stella... it is painful but i have been a good girl an not taken any drugs for it..lol i use my wheat bag if it gets too painful an that seems to help greatly.. take care kath	Kath	Female	Australia	2006-04-01 01:35:00

Asia: East and Pacific	LAND DOWNUNDER	hi ya all not heard anything back yet from Sydney yet...being very patient here. went for my medical and police check on Wed. i went into the city with plenty of time to spare an lucky i did too he had moved 2 weeks prior an didnt let me know!!!! although it was just around the corner it was another 10min walk but i arrived in time...i had to wait for the Dr for 15mins annoyed the hell outta me but i was nice about it..medical went well he said i was in good health except for my shoulder...was expecting an inspection of the lower region but i look it in my stride...went for x-ray's and the dr office told me it was 65 and the receptionist said no its been 75 dollars for a long time...(all week i knew there were gunna be surprises but just didnt know what so i found the out) police check was done before my appointment cos i rocked up half an hour earlier ...so all in all i had a good day off work but damm my feet were aching with all the walking i was doing around town... I have bursitus in my shoulder and am going to the specialist on the 20th april to see if i need the op...in my passport pic i gave to the Dr you can see the difference in both my shoulders i was astounded when i noticed that.. anyways i better get moving or i wont make it to work see ya's take care kath	Kath	Female	Australia	2006-03-30 15:14:00

Asia: East and Pacific	LAND DOWNUNDER	hi angela well i heard that said in the chatroom i go into also..but she was in vancouver she said..so the weather has gone hay wire huh... we are still having very warm days here in melb ... hi matt hows the swing going lol.. well this week i havent been in to type cos i really didnt wanna vent lol but just an update to whats been happening to me this week..i wanted to get my fingerprints done at a police station and post my application in instead of taking a day off work and going into the city...needless to say i got the run around by two police stations...after me having an email from melbourne stating the stations would be able to still do it even if they have gone electronic...one said no ink/no female on duty..other one said no forms to put prints on....then had melbourne tell me i had to have a federal one done in latrobe street...rang them they said cant do till april..so i emailed sydney they just stated that as long as it is a police check done with fingerprints that will be fine..emailed the melbourne police dept she said to ring the head team leader...i should of had the day off yesterday ..i didnt read her email till 7pm so now i gotta wait till tuesday for anything to happen lol..so there ya have it i was so disappointed and MAD...took me two days to get over it..and i still feel like requesting a free police check for all the inconvience i have had but i know i wont get it ...there is more to it but that is the short version... venting over.... takes bow and exits the stage..lol take care all kath	Kath	Female	Australia	2006-03-10 16:46:00

I suffer from sinuses here occassionally...so i wenet to get something cos everything i brought over i had used up... I dont know what they put in them here but they sent me ..took one before bed my arms were jittery flying out straight for no reason..robbie was soring one night an i just usually nudge him...my arms flew out and shook him ..scared the (well u know) out of him....if i take anything during the day it puts me to sleep...it also happens if i take a sleeping tablet called sleep easy... and advil pm (which is a pain killer that helps you sleep well not for me it dont) does it to me too .. any suggestions from the americans in here to what could be safe for me lol the drugs are too strong for me here..lol.. so for the aussies if there is anything that you take for colds ... sinses...allergies...headaches...guys and gals bring as much over in ya luggage as possible..put it in ya sox put it in ya carry on...put it in ya toilet bag in ya luggage...i might be a rare case...ohh and the frosting (icing) on the cakes here send me hyper..the things ya learn huh..robbie was so surprised that after a piece of cake i was talkative giggling and just restless when i went to bed... so there ya go something to think on when coming here.... ok enough from me ...seeya's take care you lot kath	Kath	Female	Australia	2007-03-09 15:15:00

Asia: East and Pacific	LAND DOWNUNDER	whoo hooo hamster..thats way cool.. being it on a friday you can either get it mailed or go back on monday like we did to pick up the brown envelope an my passport... dont forget to ask for copies of your medical and blood tests results...and if your doctor has any other blood tests results like cholestrol done get a copy of that too... i went to a doc here cos ya gotta go in and register with one in toledo... and i ended up getting conned into having a complete blood tests on me...they call it preventative medicine.. ..and a mamagram anything to get money... so if you have any test results get um off ya doc to show the new doc in the states to save some money... Asia: East and Pacific	LAND DOWNUNDER	hi seren well my hubby came over to get me so he bought 2 tickets through qantas..which gave us 3 free flights within oz .. there are many online tikceting websites... do a googles for other but here are a few websites...we have always found that it is cheaper to get a ticket from oz to lax then buy tickets to detroit over here...if ya get me..eg..melb to lax....then lax to denver to detroit and so forth...i seemed to work out cheaper than buying a full on ticket to detroit from melbourne...which airport will he be landing... qantas.com Thai Airlines bestflights.com.au .... they deal in usd and australian money... lastminute.com.au united.com if ya need any help i can do some searchin for ya..organised many flights for friends that didnt know a damm thing about how to do it.. kath	Kath	Female	Australia	2007-03-06 22:51:00
