Canada	MTL ... yay!!!!	DHL is the same as courier, it is the name of the courier company. This was the issue that I had with trying to make the payment after confirmation of receipt of packet 3 was confirmed: 1) I have tried making the payment over the telephone. I have attempted about 5 times now, using 2 different credit cards, and I am continued to be told my cards are invalid. I have contacted my credit card company, and they said the cards are fine, and no transactions were even attempted. I emailed CSC for assistance, and they basically told me to try again, and to try making the payment online or through Scotiabank. I attemped to make the payment over the phone again....same issue, I'm told my credit card is not valid. (I emailed CSC again to see what the problem is) 2) I tried to make the payment online through the website instead. Except, I can't seem to find the option to make the MRV fee payment. I have followed all instructions as outlined. -Trip purpose selected (K1 Fiance) Permanently immigrate to the US - Selected Montreal as my choice consulate - Was sent to Visa information page - clicked on continue - Taken to my applicant summary page, advises me that "no appointments are available at this time" ---- and no continue button to press to make an MRV payment, no option	moemac59	Female	Canada	2012-03-12 11:36:00
Canada	MTL ... yay!!!!	Fingers crossed ... Guys, I am trying to register on the website.. and when it says: Case number: what number should I put there ? EAC... or MTL? I refer to website where we register for the interview and courier etc.. Thanks Case Number is MTL. I would wait before you register because when I did, something funky happened and didn't give me the option for payment and then I had to email them and got a huge runaround and then they had to send an email with the MVR payment at Scotia Bank...took about a week and half to clear up. Canada	MTL ... yay!!!!	I agree 100%......waiting for available interview dates is so nerveracking. My fiancee and I are on the webiste contstantly hitting refresh hoping to get a date. No problem Eli, Once I knew that the petition was approved and got confirmation and assigned case number, I sent my packet 3 to Montreal...I didn't even wait for instructions to come in the mail, sent packet 3 by Loomis courier so I could track and then I physco dialed DOS everyday to see if Packet 3 had been logged in the consulate's system and asked if Packet 4 had been sent out yet and where it went. I just got mail for Packet 3 and 4 together last week. If you call DOS make sure you give them the right case number. One operator told me that Packet 4 had gone out and then another one told me that packet 3 hadn't been received after the previous operator told me it had...turns out the 2nd operator put the wrong case number in. I'll be booking my medical in Toronto tomorrow after I get some scheduling sorted out. Can I ask when your medical is? How far out are they scheduling now? I emailed her with all my work contact info and then she got back to me within 2 hours. If you call, you just leave a message as no one answers the phone. The receptionist said that I had to bring the interview letter with me but I just called US Visa and was informed that they only send out email confirmation and not a letter anymore. Canada	Booking an interview at Montreal…	Those of us who got our interviews at the end of April all worked together and helped each other out by exchanging email and texts. We were all on the CSC site at the same time trying to book an appointment (so maddening hitting the damn refresh button all day and getting nothing). We also posted on the VJ site everyday to give each other status updates (if the site was down for maintenance or technical issues) and to see if anyone had any luck booking. Once the CSC site opened up for appointments, everyone emailed, texted and posted on VJ to let the others know to go ahead and book their appointments. It was such an amazing and really positive experience to see such honest people who have never met each other, help each other out. Tried my cc, then the boys, then mine again, finally got through with PayPal and then it wouldn't accept the Invoice #!! But now things seem fine? Scheduled for April 25th - hoping I actually paid! and very excited to not check that darn website anymore! Gooooood luck to everyone else! The rep I spoke to (Cookie was her name) was very helpful and said April dates should be available soon and to try around the 15th. I asked him if he knew when the next slots of appointments would be open and he could tell me nothing. I asked if there was a specific time during the month that they release the next rounds of appointments...again nada! Sorry my VJ friend but I tried. When I registered for DHL, it didn't give me a payment option so now I don't know what to do. And also what about the date of approval on the NOA 2? Mine expires on June 1, 2012. Canada	Booking an interview at Montreal…	My routine is to check the Fiance(e) one first, then the Ready to Schedule, and both have been unavailable since I started looking on Feb 17th. moemac59, where it is now saying "There are no available appointments at this time" is said "Next Available appointment is 38 Day(s)" EDIT: I've attached my proof, haha. I wish I had just booked at that time (this screen cap was taken on Jan. 27) but I hadn't received Packet 4 yet and was worried it would mess things up, somehow. I also didn't know there was such a scarcity of appointments. The thing that slays me, is they could at least say 100 days, or 3 years, something ANYTHING instead of just nothing. It's very discouraging to just come up against the brick wall of "None". Did you make your payment yet? So I'd like to think another batch will open up in the next two weeks (but that's just my hopeful math, haha). I completely understand your frustration And on top of it, it's just a poorly designed system! I was under the impression that Montreal or NVC scheduled the interview for you and then notified you via email or snail mail. Is this not the case? Canada	DOS	Get them to confirm that they have the correct case number and name. The same thing happened with me when I called about Packet 4. One operator said that they received packet 3 and that the instructions for 3 and 4 were going out in the mail. The other operator had said that they received nothing so I had to call back again.
