IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	got our interview date...couple of medicle questions	aloha all, we finally got our interview date (july 13) phnom penh, cambodia. we were notified of this by email, and advised on what to bring. instructions for medicle examination; where to go, costs, what to bring, etc. it states "applicants should bring the attached forms..." but there were not any attached forms provided for us. should my wife be expecting a packet with the appropriate medicle forms? should i find a particular medicle examination form on this site or elswhere and download and print it out, and bring it to her examination? should i expect that the necessary medicle examination forms will be supplied by the hospitals that they refer us to? could someone provide me the name of the form that we need? thank you so much!	appleegg	Not Telling	Cambodia	2009-06-09 04:30:00

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	while we are in the neighborhood......	aloha all, first of all, thank you to this visajourney and all the people who make it work....truely amazing. anyhow, here it goes - so i get the 129f mailed in in early may, get the noa1, and now settle in for a bit of waiting. so, being in love and all, i will be going to visit my sweety in late-july. what i want to know is this; is it possible to pop into the embassy in bangkok and pick up a "package 3" so as to just get it in hand as opposed to waiting for snail-mail? also as note - i dont know if package 3 is the correct term, but whatever the package that is intended for my fiance(beneficiary) is called. also, my fiance is cambodian, so i understand that it would have to go from bangkok to phnompenh - which i am sure could take some time. i also got the impression from the site that this particular package goes from her embassy directly to her. my brother, who i am following under a similar circumstance(cambodian fiance), says that this package came to him. to be honest, she will need my assistance with any paperwork, so my time spent there should be used effectively as possible. so than, long story short, i-129f received in early may. me in thailand/cambodia late july - is there anything i can do by showing up at the embassy just to move things along/save time waiting for snailmail. again, mahalo to everyone here. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	OH MY GOD OR BUDDAH....	hello, an otherwise perfect day as i put together my cambodian fiance packet 3 docs ....finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel. so iam making copies of her passport when i notice the spelling on her first name is different than the spelling on all the docs that have gotten us to this point. how did it happen? well to start she use a nickname, and she barely knows the correct spelling of her given legal name ( Rany, not Rani ) i recall when i had her cambodian birth certificate translated to english, i caught the mistake, but somehow the incorrect birth certificate managed to sneak back into flow of documents and all was processed as mispelled. so here i am, so close. i am currently on hold with the visa center hoping to get some answer on how to go about this. my next step being trying to contact the consulate in bangkok who is handling this case. anyone out there been in a similar situation? any advise or ideas? gosh, i havent been this close to crying since last super bowl. with heavy heart, thank you, eric	appleegg	Not Telling	Cambodia	2006-09-06 17:52:00

Aloha all well here we are, packet 3 docs have been sent to bangkok, and just found out from my fiances medicle exam that she tested positive for hepatitis B. Next step for me is of coarse to find out more about this condition, and most importantly to seek treatment for the one i love as soon as possible .....in the meantime, does this mean she will be denied? does anyone know or have experienced this situation? and does anyone have a link to any us government sites that may answer this question for me? i am praying for the best for her. thankyou for your help.	appleegg	Not Telling	Cambodia	2006-09-27 15:21:00

Philippines	NVC to Manila embassy - Manila embassy concern	yeah, we have the same problem...I have been calling the US embassy over here in the philippines and they sadi they received my fiance's petition for me but they still dont have any interview date for me yet...I'm really getting anxious and frustrated since a lot of the june filers already have their interview dates on january...and i still dont have my packet yet nor a letter from the embassy that they have received my honey's petition already.......what to do..what to do....it's soo frustrating...huhuhu!
