(Arrested Development reference)	Well if you have the last 4 numbers, and are quite anxious about getting it , you can always try to figure it out. Here's how it breaks down... Example - EAC 08 143 5 1234 EAC - Vermont Service Center (formerly Eastern Adjudication Center) 08 - The fiscal year of USCIS, from October 1 to September 30. (Cases filed from 10/01/2006 to 09/30/2007 will have xx = 07) 143 - The working day of the fiscal year when your case is received. 10/01 = 001 5 or 0 - Either 5 (in database) or 0 (paper files) ... You can also check out the link to the Embassy Info and read reviews from others about how long it will take from NOA2 to interview and what is required of you. Right now Vermont is taking about 3 months from NOA1 date but this fluctuates all the time. Historically, it is the faster of the two centers. Good luck. Your fiance needs to write his representative with all of your information and request assistance. If a Congressional Inquiry is called for, the USCIS has just a couple of days to respond. If you are stuck in name/security checks at least you will know what's holding it up. In the meantime, I would continue to call every day until you can talk to someone who will help you or at least tell you where your file is. As stated above, you cannot just get married and file for a spousal visa. They did cash the check, though, so I assume they can at least register on the uscis site to check their progress. Lots of people don't get their NOA1 (I-797) hardcopy for whatever reason. edit... If you fill in your timeline (> my assistant > edit / add timeline) you will get a range of dates that will give you a more clear idea of when your petition will be adjuticated. Keep in mind this is an estimation based on VJ members only. We are a very small percentage of actual filers. If you haven't done so yet, you can use the EAC number on the back of your cashed check to login to the uscis website and register for automatic email updates on your case status. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	i 129f processing time	Jollies.. we've all tried answering you for months now. You sent your petition to the wrong center. Nebraska no longer handles K1's. I believe you informed us that they forwarded it to California for you and then sent you an RFE (request for more evidence) I believe it was for passport photos? Most people from November have been approved. I can only assume sending it to the wrong center and then having the RFE has slowed you down but you should still either have an approval or another RFE for something else you missed. You need to be registered with the uscis.gov website and have updates regarding your case. I don't know how else we can explain to you that you need to contact the USCIS for more information. You can call NVC 603-334-0700, 1, 5 to talk to someone and they can tell you when they receive it. You can then track your package as it heads to the Embassy. You can call NVC 603-334-0700, 1, 5 to talk to someone and they can tell you if they've received your case and give you your new number. Best to call late at night. Then you can track your petition to the Consulate using DHL by reading how here Moves pretty quick through the NVC so you may find it's already left to London. Good luck.
