New England is absolutely the most breathtaking in the fall color! mid-october is usually the peak time for north central massachusetts, where I live. Here's some fall pics of my area from a few years back. Our wedding ceremony will be Ocboer 18th (we think ) so it should be just gorgeous. you are welcome here any time at all. Well, I come bearing good news my march friends... my love has his interview next wednesday, the 17th! That's 6pm Tuesday night for those of us est in the US. He plans on flying home the following Wednesday. So just two weeks from tomorrow our decade long journey will bring to an end this long and difficult chapter...and bring the start of the next much happier one! We are considering the 18th but the JP marrying us has just a few dates so we'll just follow her lead. We don't really care. Wow, you're getting close, eh? Sooooo pleased for you! Stevi, we were stuck in AP at the NVC sweetie. But happily, we are in the air between LAX and Auckland right now! woohoo! The Embassy already has Russell's complete packet 3 and his medical so we're just waiting on an interview date. It's Monday in NZ so we're hoping they receive the packet by tonight and Russell can call to see if he can schedule his interview tomorrow. They already know we're in a rush. After three weeks stuck at NVC they finally pushed us through last night. We're somewhere between ohio and lax right now. We are once again walking around with silly grins on our faces! Since the Embassy has had Russell's p/3 and medical for weeks we're hoping we can get a super speedy interview. Ana, you got a good link from Nich. No big drama about getting your marriage license in MA. You just need proof of age and name... birth certificate, passport, etc. There is a 3 day wait (inc holidays and weekends but not the day you apply) and it's valid for 60 days. Easy peasy. They've also got everything they need in their system because of his 'denial'. Others who have had similar circumstances haven't been held up so who knows really. You would think this was rocket science! It seems some folks are just chosen at random. I'm trying hard to hold on to that day I'm finally off to pick him up! Russell had his medical yesterday (expedited ) and has already got p3 back to the Embassy and paid for his visa so now we just wait for a date! (8/13) I did post a topic but it's lost in the VJ abyss by now on page... who knows. anyway, he has his medical this Friday and has requested an expedited interview date (something NZ does try to accomodate ) so hopefully it wont be too long. Everything he needs from me for the interview is already on it's way to NZ! We're on our way!!! good luck at the medical sweetheart and do keep us posted. Fingers crossed for Tuesday!!! I even got the hardcopy yesterday and mailed off everything Russell will need for me for his interview. His medical is already scheduled for this Friday and he's already contacted the Embassy to try to get an expedited interview. Hopefully it wont be long before we are together again! Thanks for thinking of us. I'm so glad things are going well for you! And happy you're not carrying around pain caused by your 'friend'. i'm also very curious about Tuty and hope she posts soon! NZ is at least a couple thousand r/t and 20+ hours of just flight time so we aren't planning on any visits. Once the NOA2 comes it will only be a few short weeks until the interview if that, so we're holding out. By the time he gets home it will be one full year we've been apart (w/1 - 3 week visit). Since we receive our NOA1 last May 22, 2008 there is no change of date every time I check our case at USCIS website, So it mean our cases is never been touch,Does it mean our petition is no progress, because most cases here there cases have touch, so you will know that your petition is moving from one desk to another, Just worrying that our cases maybe lost or something, does any one of you had an experience like this during you petition, No touch but got the NOA2..
