This is a 90 day stamp only. There will most likely be a gap in the time he is legally permitted (according to the DHS) to work between his POE and receiving his EAD after being married and filing for adjustment. Good luck at your interview!

Just got an RFE! :(They are saying that I don't make enough . I don't have anyone else to sponsor I thought that I made enough !! I did just get a raise right before I sent off the AOS packet. There were two stubs showing that I now make 10$ an hr instead of 9.50 I was just shy of the 125% poverty level, but that was before. Do you think that if I sent recent pay stubs showing the increase and a letter from my manager that would be enough? I am getting another raise in nov as well I am just so upset I don't know what to do if it doesn't work. I work 35 hours a week 10$ an hour equaling 18,200 before taxes, for Paul and I the amount is suposed to be 17,500. If they just put it down that I made $9.50 I make 17,290. JUST under unfortunately. That sucks a lot :S I hope someone can help me out and give me a little info about this. I really hope it will work out if I show them my raise and get a work letter.....

thats a very pretty dress tongue.gif I have been busy with work and such , remember when i told you how paul got really sick? well he got Lyme disease :S He got medicine for it though and is feeling better tongue.gif we went for the biometrics this past friday and spent the day in boston smile.gif for some reason though we cant track our case online like we did it the k1. I hope i'm worrying for nothing but i dunnnoooo so many other people have it tracked and we still don't so what is everyone up to? i'm going back to college next week. Paul is going crazy because he can't work hes bored while i'm at work and doesn't have much to do here. But we are stillllllllllll very happy that hes here and no more leaving to go back to england smile.gif wooooo

Because two couples have the same timeline does not mean their case will be adjuticated at the same time. That's just not how it works. If there are others near your NOA1 date here on VJ still waiting then they probably just haven't got to your box yet.

And, I agree with Nico, the uscis will give you their standard response that you are within their posted processing times.

It is not common to have a petition denied at the uscis level unless there are circumstances such as one of you is not free to marry and/or IMBRA related issues...etc.

All that you're really providing them with at this stage is that you are able to petition someone from another Country and that you have met in the last two years. There are database and security checks and things like that that can slow you down.

The Consulate level is a different story. Higher fraud Consulates, of course, see higher rates of denial and some are just more difficult to deal with.

You have waited longer than some but are still well within the VSC adjutication dates. I wouldn't worry too much about denial at this point unless you have good reason to.

Yes, historically, Vermont has always been the fastest processing center and the disparity has caused a lot of frustration here. But much has changed in the last year.... especially the last several months.

There are people who sent their petition to California the same time that we did that have already been approved and i'm still waiting. Times.. they are a'changin. wink.gif

fill in your timeline and you will get an estimated adjutication date. We're going on 4 months this week.

the graphs will show you the historical trend but you have to remember that the data is highly skewed from last years influx of petitions, change in centers, changes in staff...etc.

In light of the information regarding the 'computer glitch' (congratulations btw wink.gif ) and all the talk regarding it on other threads I thought i'd just add that this is a very common thing at the CSC. If you look over older posts you will find that this has happened more often than not in the last year alone. Many people only found they were approved when they got their noa2 hardcopy in the mail and some of those approved a long time ago still show pending on the uscis website. However, it's not something that seems to happen with Vermont.

Heather, you got great advice from mama Nich but you're going to want to check with the USEM itself or maybe in the aussies thread (in regional forums) to see if tax transcripts or returns are needed at interview. Normally, at least one year is needed.

If your income meets the minimum req. then you probably will not need a bank letter. I also included some bank statements but they were not asked for when I asked the NZ Embassy what they needed/wanted from me.

Processing times mean nothing to us here.

It's also important to note that in the past year alone the processing centers have gone through HUGE changes so statistical data is highly skewed. As Nich mentioned, VJ is just a small percentage of actual filers. There is data on this. wink.gif So while we may not see approvals coming through each day, it's very likely there were quite a few that we just didn't see. wink.gif

That fact alone pretty much kept me sane for the past year. laughing.gif

Those last 4 numbers on your WAC or EAC number are in reference to what number petition you were for that particular fiscal day of the year (not all K1's of course)...but that should give you some idea of just how many they get!

There are lots of people, specifically from CSC, who seem to be getting stuck in limbo between approval and NVC.

Months ago it was stated by others that they waited to have a pallet full of approved petitions before sending a shipment across Country to New Hampshire. However, it seems some people from CSC reach NVC in just a matter of days so i'm not sure that's the case and I don't think anyone really has an answer for you.

I know it's hard, especially after the long wait for the approval...but you are not alone. I'm sure if you did a search you'd find some recently approved folks going through the same thing. I do hope you are entered into the NVC soon.

It's been close to a year now that Russell was denied entry back into the US and 5 months since we started our visa journey. It has been such a long and bumpy road but with the knowledge and support of the people here, we are well on our way to being together again.... finaly!

we are so touched and humbled by all the warm thoughts and well wishes we've received here at Visa Journey.

Thank you all for your knowledge and support along the way ...Russell has already had his medical and returned his packet 3 and is just now awaiting his interview.
