I know you sent it 3/26 but I don't think anyone with your NOA1 has been approved yet this week. I'm sure it's coming soon! Although, I like Bex's idea of the breakaway rebel operator's in the lunchroom! ) I used to have a different number saved but I can't seem to find it now. I'll let you know if I do. S&D... did you send on 3/31 or is that your NOA1 date? Most of the people who have been approved this week only sent their petition either end of March or very early in April so you should be right around them. it's coming! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Filing in March	Thank you 'star'.. I appreciate your kind words. I was separated for years before my ex husband would sign the divorce papers. Not too sure why, we get along pretty well, but I finally had to hire a lawyer to get him to do the right thing. It's been quite the expensive and emotionally draining process! I hope your fiance gets to have a relationship with his kids... nobody has the right to keep children away from either parent unless there is abuse involved. That's the one saving grace with my ex... I want him as close to the kids as possible so I try hard to maintain an amicable relationship. Anything else would just be too emotionally draining to me and them. As far as those around you who are not supportive, it's simple really... you find new poeple that are to surround yourselves with. It's not always family! I didn't know the gov't wasn't popular with Italy.. shame considering that's where my family is from! My nonno came on the boat from Parma in 1920! Anyway, it will all work out for you... you'll see. Keep posting with us! pandora, so sorry to hear your news. I dont really know what you mean by getting ignored or mis-quoting you and maybe you're just feeling awfully bad right now, but i'm sorry you feel that way nonetheless. Maybe the blood work just takes that long to get back to the Embassy? As far as the joint sponsor... hey, you're making a lot of changes to your life... for all the right reasons! I'm the strongest, most stubborn person I know so I can only imagine how it makes you feel BUT it is the strongest of us that know when it's ok to ask for a little hand up sometimes. It's really ok that you need this right now...dont feel bad. I imagine that once you have the new I134 and supporting documents that you can schedule a new interview pretty quickly? I'm 38, so i'm no spring pup. I've buried a child, I buried my own dad at just 51 and lost many family members. I have a brilliant brother who has been missing for 5 years. I had a tremendous amount of weight to lose and keep off. I'm divorced after a 20 year relationship and raising two teenagers bascially on my own. I'm also working for myself and trying to pay my bills and mortgage after being home for 15 years with the kids. Russell and I met 10 years ago, online, whilst I was still married.... What i'm saying is that you're not alone ....and nobody is here to judge you. Shame on them if they do! All of us here just met not too long ago as well. It's this connection to the visa journey that brings us together. I can only speak for myself but I don't think I have a shy bone in my body. (hush mama nich! ) I've hosted my own forum for a decade now and my work is all online so that's probably why i'm as outspoken as I am. You are about to enter a whole new world ....full of love and life and adventure! Go into with your head held high and all the confidence in the world! Everything will work out just fine! It's like i'm living vicariously through you and feeling just a slice of the emotions I know that are coming for us! The very best to each of you! Can't wait to hear your good news! HS... I replied to you in April too but have to say I agree with Nich. Curl up in a corner and die??? Stop it!!! You are quite self-defeating, aren't you? It will get you nowhere! All those being approved right now are right around your date... your petition is probably sitting right in the same box as theirs just waiting to be approved. Do as momma nich said and find something else to keep you busy for now.... you are going to make yourself sick with worry hon. It's coming! Think positive! I can tell you that as a parent i'm sure your folks are just so happy that you have found the kind of love that makes it worth living on the other side of pond. It's what make life worth living! You're not going backwards hon, even though you may find it difficult to carry any credit over, everything you've done and learned will come along with you and you will do the same thing here. It wont take that long really. I do hope that once you are in the arms of your love all of this pain will fade. Borrow someone eles's 'boot' (trunk) to have your little sale.. or be creative and use something else. Take a bubble bath and treat yourself with a little extra TLC right now. You deserve it. Don't apologize for your emotions, i'm quite sure many people here are feeling what you are and it's probably a wonderful thing you're doing for them letting them know they're not alone. I can, however, tell you that I suffer severely from allergies (we're talking anaphylactic here) and having the air conditioning going instead of the windows open makes a HUGE difference for me. All I can think is they scanned you in and put you back in the box way back when... and now they're going through that working the other way! I know, i'm a nut job! Boy, I hope so!! Some find they dont have to wait long at all while others.... well, you dont have to worry about that, do you? Cuz you wont have to wait long at all, i'm sure! A little happy news for you? You're 24 weeks gestation today and although your baby has been able to hear your voice for some time now, she can now hear other people's voices talking from outside your belly! 24 weeks was always so exciting to me so I thought i'd share! Sal, after all these years and the struggle to get here, I think i've had the patience of a saint...Russell even moreso, earlier on anyway! I know it's coming and most of the time I am very patient but you know how it goes when you can almost taste it..... knowing it's only around the corner.... oh it's such a tease! It will be 10 weeks sent in a couple of days. When we started on VJ it was taking 6 months and when we filed some of you were seeing approvals in just a month. It's a rollercoaster ride for sure! Pretty song although I think my voice would sound much different. Sorry you had a tough father's day. My dad died suddenly (at 51) about 9 years ago. He ran more than 10 miles a day so it was quite unexpected. I miss him every day. I hope your memories brought you peace on father's day. Great advice Bex, quite a bit of wisdom there for such a young lass. Stay strong girl... you're getting there. Good Tuesday morning to everyone else.
