K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January filers VSC lottery, who gets the jackpot next?	ah! after all that i forgot hot to post how i got engaged well he had the ring the whole time i was in england i had no idea when he was going to propose though I thought maybe in france or something but i always was worried what if its not perfect or the right place or time and didn't want to stress about it just enjoy vacation so i said don't yet. so he didnt:P well when we were back in the US before i woke up he went to the store got everything to make me breakfast in bed! it was so cute and i had no idea . I woke up to him holding a tray with crepe's with lots of nutella! It was my fav in france i loved it and he had a single red rose and got this special fruit juice i loved. He also made a nice lil card and when he draws hearts they look so cute and guyish if u know waht i mean hehe. underneath the card was a box, with the ring in it!! ahhh he sat down beside me opened it and asked me. It was simple but so romantic, now I look back and wouldn't want him to change a thing.It was his idea no one elses. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January filers VSC lottery, who gets the jackpot next?	paul and i met while playing a video game actually, called battlefield 1942, it's a ww2 shooting game hehe:O my brother got me into it. If it wasn't for him I would have never met paul. Went in the server one day he was in with his clan and we didn't even talk to eachother but played together and the more i did with his clan the more i liked the game and eventually joined the clan and played for a year with them and then we started talking on msn , things progressed and I knew feelings grew for him but was unsure if he felt the same way. well i used to always send him surveys to do , like lil stupid ones and i would find more things about him everyday! we talk about everything and anything and I love having someone I can always go to with my problems or just to talk. He makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! lolo I'm a loser, head over heels some might say! well on the 28th i sent him one asking him cute lil questions questions like would u date me, kiss me, what would you do if u met me random things, some romantic and waht he thought of me, he wouldnt send me it back unless i did it and sent it to him as well then we both emailed back to eachother read the answers, seems silly now to tell eachother wih a survey hehe but it worked! and we have been talking everyday ever since , the fist time he came for a week he went to my prom lol it was great he came in july for a month, then in dec, then this past summer i went over there. I'm very lucky to be able to spend time with him. I love him so much and can't picture my life without him and never want to!!! we have known eachother for over 5 yrs but have been devoted to eachother for 3 and I wouldn't have it any other way. <3 as for the wedding i want a wintery wedding in dec. I love the xmas cheer hehee. Even though its cooold I would love to have everyone together enjoying themselves in a warm cozy wintery atmosphere. It wouldn't be next xmas it would be the xmas after, 09'. and the colors would be navy, silver, white, black . and I keep planning all these things like the way everythign will look and over stress then i need to take a break for awhile lol but i do go on the knot lots it's a great site for ideas. and for the honeymoon hawaii at this moment i'm just getting excited that he's coming in 13 days hehehehe and having him decorate easter eggs with me lol ok! i think I wrote enough lol about my lover hehe and also!! It was the same for me in the UK ..people were like 'umm do I know you'... 'crazy American'. Often I'm asked if i'm from New York, which is a huge insult to a Bostonian! I'm lucky in that Kiwi's (NZ'ers) are SO friendly. No matter where you go ... if you are dealing with a local Maori or NZ born kiwi.. you are smiling. Trying to find heinz ketchup anywhere instead of 'tomato sauce' and ohhhh a good cup of just plain ole American coffee! What's with the tall black..short white...etc? Reminds me of that commercial ..."my mouth can't form these words... is it french.. or is it Italian.. perhaps Fritalian! Too funny. Alina, our Bex thought it was funny to skip over the pond without sharing it with us here and it seems she's having such a grand time in her new home she's not checking in much but we hope she's doing well and extremely happy! Sorry you're not loving the A/C right now... best to prepare yourself for winter! Well it's a new week and hopefully it's OUR week! I've been really concentrating on taking care of myself with my blood pressure scare the other day. I'm such a positive person but I do internalize and i'm gonna assume that is the cause. We're sort of in the same boat... everyone says to wait to book your flight but umm yeah... no! NZ usually takes two days to issue the passport so we'll have to see what day that lands us on and take it from there. Russell's home is 4 hours away from Auckland and the Embassy so he is not wanting to travel back after his interview... just wants to come home to me on the earliest possible flight! I am a very positive person and do try hard to make sense of my emotions (psych major :lol) but I have my moments too. I've just been here long enough to see that it's not always as fair as it probably should be and that people are often just left worrying when they see so many around them being approved. It's a lot easier for someone on the outside looking in to see these things and when I see people suffering and giving up hope I feel like they need to hear what i've got to say. Being away is so difficult because no matter what else you go through in this life there is just something about being able to climb into the arms of the person who loves you most to make it all 'ok'. I'm so glad that soon you will have that. Raffaella, I did notice that many of the people who are being approved these days have a sent date close to yours. I'm not sure if it was the x-adjuticator that said it... but somewhere I heard that is the day they try to go by. If that's the case.. i'd say you are in those boxes they are going through now. Must be extra hard having the issues witht he first packet you did. I don't blame you guys a bit for getting rid of things. I used to be more of a pack-rat and now I tend to get rid of almost anything that I haven't used or seen in ages. Clutter makes me crazy! Moving across the pond I guess you kinda need to, eh? I think we could keep a thread going or perhaps a mailing list or something so we can all keep in touch from here on out. We can do it here or I'd be happy to set something up on my server for us.... message forum... ??? Let me know what you guys think. It's easier for those of us on the outside to look and see that you just might need someone to help hold you up sometimes as you wait... perhaps you're just not used to that with so little support around you rihgt now..but it's something that i've always had around me, it's why i've survived, and it's my opinion .... it's just what you need right now.... that's what we're here for sweetie. Nobody is offended... we just see it clearly as we look from the outside in. We're here to help hold you up when you find it hard to stand...we're here to remind you that it's coming. Hopefully you find much more of that as you enter into this new chapter of your life IN THE US... ... surrounding yourself with all that is good and right is what keeps life worth living! Think positive...and when you find yourself self-defeating ..just take a step back and think.... and remember that all dreams take time and effort to come true. If you think about it... anything that is worth anything in this life takes hard work! Ana... so excited for you darlin! Nich... ooo tough one with the in-laws. I can understand your anxiety there but i'm sure they'll still be so happy for you that you have found love again. I'm sure your late husband would be as well. Because there are a handful with dates after you that have been approved before you means absolutely nothing. Don't give up on the US just yet. And knowing you're so close will make it easier leaving each other. I'm happy for you. We had planned another June vacation for me to NZ but when VSC started approving petitions in less than a month (in January/February) we thought we'd be better off saving the 4,000-5,000 it would cost. No regrets, as we've spent umm way too much in travel in the last few years as it is, but it would have done us a world of good. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Filing in March	Justin, as we know we're getting closer and others around and even in front of us are getting approved it just gets harder, doesn't it? There's no transparency so we're just left to sit...and wait... and wonder... and want. It's been 5 months since i've been in the arms of the man I love and we've only had 3 weeks out of the last out of the last 10 months together after sharing years. My glass is as half full as anyone's but, you're right... it's so dark. Our time is coming. S&D... I think that VJ is such a small percentage of filers that we can often see the discrepency's so much clearer. Say an adjuticator picks up a new box from say mid-April when another adjuticator is still working on his/her box from late March/early April. They're working at the same pace, just with the next available box..which just happens to have later filers who will be approved before some earlier ones. With the amount of petitions they get, I doubt it's any easier to control the order better than they are. We're doing a whole lot of signing as well. We have to believe that it's coming... right now their are adjuticator's working on cases...hopefully clearning out the rest of late March/early April. Here's to some great news tomorrow!!!
