There is no rhyme or reason and nobody's ever the same. Apparently there are just some adjuticators who scan the petitions and some who do not. CSC seems to have much less 'touching' going on than VSC. Hannah & Vito... the process is so difficult but you are headed to the finish line now... probably the hardest part of all. I've used it all over the world and saved a bundle on air and hotels. The package we bought to London included airfare from the States and put us in a 4 star hotel right by Kensington Palace. I rarely pay more than 125 a night for 4 star hotels in major cities all over the world. We didn't do the eye but we've got lots of pictures of it! My legs go numb in high places. If you can see a copy of a cashed check from your online bank account then you can register with the USCIS webiste here. Be advised that you will only receive an email update for notifications such as RFE's and/or Approvals. To see if you've been 'touched' you click on your WAC number once you're logged in and it will open a new page that states a last udpated date. If that date changes... you've been touched. Good luck! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	visa waiver denial	Ummm *raising hand* Russell was denied entry in Sept 2007, also in Dublin (although he was treated nice). He had basically been living in the US with me for over a year, travelling to a different Country every 3 months to meet the requirements of the VWP. There is a long story as to 'why' and yes we spent a fortune... but we saw a lot of Countries. I am quite familiar with many couples who have experienced this and the wait times are consistent with any other filers here. This happens all the time. Being turned back at the border should have no effect on your K-1 visa other than the fact that you already have your A# and you are on the 'watch list' for your ineligibility to use the VWP. You are not technically 'denied' entry... you are "allowed to withdraw your petition to enter the US". There are security checks at every stage of this process. There is just no automated updates/scans..until Monday. You're right tho, the weekends are tough because you have nobody else's approval to help keep you going. I've not seen or heard of it happening with Vermont tho. Just remember there are LOADS of petitions out there that we dont see here. When we had a week like this, I used to tell myself that there was at least 20 approvals that day even though we didn't see them. Then i'd go searching others EAC numbers around ours to see who was getting approved. this is the hardest time for you all. Stay strong.. it's coming!!! Yes, it is extremely unfair. The uscis is fully funded by consumers...our petition funds...not by taxes and other gov't funds.... that's why they did not hire new folks until after they already had a backlog after the fee hikes last year. If there is one thing i've learned about life it's that it's unfair... this arduous process is no different. It's good to have a voice and to be passionate about it. Focus your energy and anger on contacting your representatives and educating everyone you know about the process. That's what I do. He's been unable to travel here because he can not use VWP either and I only went to NZ once as it's 2000+ r/t and 20+ hours of flight time. Hard for a mom to get away for that long. Anyway.... I am doing very well now, thank you. We were approved yesterday after 120 loooooong days and 10 even looooonger years! We're on our way now! I hope it's not too much longer for you! I know it's very frustrating looking at the lack of approvals coming out of either center and the lists and timelines are great for reference but I think we must always keep in mind that we at VJ are a VERY small percentage of actual filers. I'm not sure it will help you at all but on a week like this, what helps keep me going is the thought that there is likely hundreds and hundreds of people who were actually approved and seeing all the approved petitions make their way to the Consulates all over the world (fed ex) is proof of that. It's been over a month now since our last one so i'm hoping the next brings something with it! If you notice our timeline, as well as the timeline of several other April filers whom I know keep track, there seems to be this pattern with VSC scanning petitions in a bit after NOA1 and then, for some of us, again about a month after...many times two days in a row.
