It took her 2.5 hrs to get thru, immigration, getting her bags and then customs. She went on line(seems there were lik 7 flight coming in at once). The immigration officer asked her 1-2 questions(what is your fiances name, his address, what does he do?). Simple questions. Then she was directed to the secondary room. She waited there for over 90 mins. A guy came up to her took her paperwork, she waited 30 mins, he came back asked her the same few questions above and then she waited another 40 mins or so. He came back asked her what I do. He came back 15 mins later with the passport stamped and EAD. It was a very long wait. But we got thru it. She landed in terminal 4 where alot of international flights land. She wasnt harassed but she was made to wait. alot! You don't need the EAD stamp with the K-1. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	HE'S HERE AND WE'RE MARRIED	Ramzis' flight to Detroit was on time on Friday, POE was a breeze, just a few minutes and we were home by 5 p.m. We were married on Saturday at 5 p.m. It was short, sweet and lovely at our church with our children. We had a beautiful family dinner at an English Inn nearby immediately following. It has been a lovely reunion for us. WE ARE IN TOTAL SHOCK. We can't believe we'll be together forever. We spent all day yesterday filing the marriage license, changing his designation on his SS card and getting him on the health insurance. LIFE IS GOOD----PATIENCE IS TRULY A GIFT FROM GOD. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	APRIL Filers!!	I got a text from my fiancé telling me to come online before I go to work this morning. I came on and it sucks because internet connection was real bad, I suddenly disconnected. Luckily, 10 minutes before I go to work I was connected. My fiancé worries me because he tells me bad news about CSC but he was kinda joking. Actually, he called CSC this afternoon and thank God an Angel named Mrs. Le was real nice. My fiancé complained about the RFE letter and he let Mrs. Le check our papers again because as far as we know we don’t sent any papers that are foreign and we sent it all right and gladly Mrs. Le called back and telling my fiancé that she found our papers and telling us the good news that she will tell the head officer that there’s nothing wrong with our papers and she said we are APPROVED!!!!! They will update our status online maybe this week or next week…. We are so happy and we thank God so much that we are now APPROVED!!!!! WE ARE APPROVED!!!!! *mixed emotions* Still in shock right now as my fiancé just informed me that he received the approval letter today. I didn't receive any email or status update. I kept checking for the past days after the touches but nothing! arghhh but whew!!!! after almost 120 days of waiting, it's here!!! How soon can I expect it and how soon can I expect NVC to have it? Does anyone know the approximate wait time for the name check? Just so I know how it goes next, can anyone double check this so it looks like I understand it correctly. 1.wait for NOA2 in mail 2. NOA2 goes to NVC 3. FBI name check 4. NOA2 sends petition to embassy 5. Embassy sends pack to fiance 6. Fiance gets everything and then sends it back to Embassy 7. Embassy sends letter with appointment date 8. Appointment Right? OOOO. Now what do I do? The only thing I need to do send to him is the affidavit of support right, and supporting evidence of being together? What else? It is also wrong when the CSC is called how they seem to hide information from you.. Every time I called in they did the same thing to me. I had to be pushy to find out info about my case being assigned to someone and find out the date it was assigned. They never offered me info even the nice ones. I had to squeeze it out of them. Your case is past due and really they need to tell you.. I told them the last time I called that I felt like I was getting the run around and she told me my case had been assigned on the 22nd.
