Girl BOOM My family feels that since I have a great income with my hubby and we have a house and some kids already we should take her. Im like hell to the no!!!!!!!! My dad spoke to my hubby about it (behind my back ) and he said yes! I told him do you remember that my baby is graduating the 1st of July and will need to be here in that month. \How can we take another child? I feel that its going to be so different for her to adjust and understand whats going on and another child would just shadow that, because my family willbe coming to get my neice like she is a princess. I dont want nothing to overshadow my baby coming. This is her time' I asked my dad why can the take her??, my step mom works and he dont He is there all day Dont forget im still working full time and so is my hubby. Thats alot Hubby got pissed and said that if it was his brother daughter he would take her. I said thats all fine and dandy, but Moy Moy need to adjust first then lets see what we are doing. Im not even thinking of the baby in my stomach im just thinking of her right now. My dad is in a good situation to take her right now. maybe later we can take her but my dad has had custody of her before when my sister has cut up. and been in and out of jail. I dont care of this sounds selfish, its overwhelming hey always tell the baby I said heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! WoW JQ that sounds like a lot. I have not read your story on your sister so I dont know whats happening but if their are other family members who can help they should. I tried to make a doctors appointment for the girls and my son at the same time and they told me they only can schedule 2 kids at a time. #######!! She said it is the office policy. I said tell the doctor to call me cuz i'll be damned if i'm gonna come there 2 separate times....cho!! This has happen to me so many damn times. I have been num for a while my fiancee still has not received his VISA and we were APPROVED on the 7th of May. AAAAHHHHH!!! Hey Lady C hang in there God will give you and G all the patience and strength you need. Right now my co worker going through the adjustment stages only her step sons are 16 and 18 they just arrived from Jordan on May 4th. She comes to work and vent everyday, she is to the point that she wants to go home and throw every man out. She does scream and say she going to go Kittitian on there asses, she from saint kitts!!! and I know how they are my mom from there LMAO!! But she prays to God for strength everyday!!! Keep the faith. Congrats to all the new job and second job. Shanette, I going to tell you what I keep telling myself it soon come!!! LOL. (trying to smile) girl I know the feeling. KJ what up? (((HUGE SIGH)) I don't know if anyone really cares (having a self-pity party for myself today so bear with me) BUT We have NOT gotten our Green Card!!!!!!!!!!!! Long story short they messed up our address AGAIN (I called to inform them of this but they only changed one of our applications not the one I told them too even though I correctly put it on all of our applications) and the NEW mailman (I'm assuming he's new because all the other times they messed up on our mail, they've delivered to our box anyway) sent it back. So on Friday I got an email saying that our Notice was returned to them. So I call and have it corrected again!! Got a tracking number and now I'm left playing the waiting game praying that one day soon I'll open my mailbox and his card is there. I keep checking the website everyday at least a 100/day looking to see if theres any change. Now it only says it was "touched" yesterday and the circle is shaded under "Intial Review"! I just want to scream!! I just feel like this whole process for us has been the slowest method from beginning to now. And here we are............. I know it could be worse, at least we were approved and there are so many worse cases than mine but today all I really care about is OUR situation. I researched on the USCIS website and it just says call if its been X amount of days. Any suggestions on what I could do if anything? I hate not being proactive. I know how you feel. I have been checking our status every day and it still says Initial Review and its been saying that since March 9th...aghhh...But keep the faith it soon come. I had changed our address too. I am pretty sure that is what he told me when we were talking about it a couple of weeks ago. I did read somewhere to be a police you have to be a US Citizen and pretty sure but not 100% about being a fireman too. I tell him that all the time. He thinks 30 is old he is crazy. My uncle joined the Navy years ago and this is what they did. I have a friend whos husband came up last summer and he joined the Navy a few months ago. He got a call last night for a hotel for Valet parking and has an interview on Friday for that. He is going to see if he can do both since he is going to be on 2nd shift for the job he has now 4pm-12am. Keep your fingers crossed. The valet job would be from 7am-11am. Q~ Nice to see you around. LadyC~ I hope that taking him to therapy will help and that he comes around. Everything takes time. See it dehhhh..God dont always come when we want but he comes right on time. Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin - Part 26!	girl those are Roger's EXACT words.. these yard men are too much alike sometimes LOL we always had said we would not accept an overnight job, well HD got him in offering 8pm-12am which he was okay with, but since day one it has been "suggested" OT till 5am..he was all happy about it at first but now he is NOT feeling it.. thats heartwrenching about ur stepson, did he always act like that, how did ur husband handle it in JA?? I have 2 step sons.. 9 and 6, i often wonder what it would be like to leave home at such a young age..i know kids adjust but i hope they do not have too much of a hard time.. Wow HD is tripping. Im so glad G found a job with great hours. M-F, 8 -5, off on weekends. My step son lived with his mom and when G did get him he acted up and G just gave him what he wanted. I know a lot of kids who left home early so I was prepared for the adjust stuff but this is not that. He throw tantrums at the drop of a hat and they usually last for hours. Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin - Part 26!	that will be awesome!! i wish i had planned a trip somewhere w/ a 3 day weekend and him leaving after that.. but i forgot and planned my daughter 13th bday that sunday.. we gonna hit up dave and busters so that should be fun, then maybe i can beg somebody to watch them and get roger and i a hotel or something..GIRL WE NEED A BREAK..these hours are frustrating him like mad, and im tired trying to come in from work and do my wifely duties which lately been HARD.. man i know plenty of ppl do this kind of schedule, but honestly.. mi cyaan manage.. i see you were having problems with your step son.. i hope it all works out..my kids are STILL not really warmed up to Roger, but i know behavioral problems makes things even MORE complicated so stay encouraged When G was looking for a job he applied at Home Depot but he was not happy with the hours either. He said he want to be home in his bed with his wife....So I understand Roger not being happy with that shift. The hotel getaway sounds fun. I hope you find a sitter. We are hoping he settles in soon its been a very time for us. One day my husband just broke down and cried because he could not believe what he was seeing. Good morning all!! been a minute, hope all is well with all the vj crew..big ups to those i havent chatted with on FB.. been crazy busy at work, got a temporary promotion filling in for a lead and now its over..Can't say i will miss the job as much as the money.. I like to be responsible for myself only. Roger is well, still at Home Depot, HATES working overnight "away from him wifey" so we are on the search again for a daytime.. i told him he might sacrifice his weekends, but i guess he is willing. He is doing well with the food delivery, gets RAVES on his food, I think his restaurant idea might really come to fruition..we praying.. He will be in JA june 4th-7th to see his kids and parents..Im staying behind this time.. ALLLL this time i didn't get to experience the "family" gifts, but it is rearing its ugly head LOL..its really not that bad, he is only buying for the kids, his parents and siblings and most of these ppl, he hasn't seen in several years so guess he can't go empty handed.. he's REALLY good about making sure he gets "something" for them, but within his budget so its all good. my youngest is out of school as of last week and my oldest has one more, so hear come the summer plans..starting w/ memorial day..anybody doing anything fun??? He will go once a week from now on. He did not wnt to talk at first but then he warmed up and talked alittle. He has a bad speech problem and his acsent is very strong so we had to translate but I just glad that we started this. Thank you all for your support. Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin - Part 26!	Ok so I need to vent, I am on the 11th floor at work and it is 22 flights of stairs to walk if you dont take the elevators. I don't like elevators because the constantly break down and blah blah blah so I used to walk the stairs but now that I am pregnant it makes it difficult cause I get winded so easily and very dizzy. Anyhow, Today twice we had false emergency alarms and had to evacuate the bldg. the first time only walked two flights not so bad and turn around because they stated it was a false alaram. Now the second time I walked all the way down just about to exit and once again they say go ahead back up false alarm UGGG! My God i made it but Jesus I am so exhausted right now I want to just crawl in the bed and sleep and I still have another few hours to go. Anyway hope everyone elses afternoon is going well. Always you are good..I got tired just reading your rant. I could never walk up all those stairs. I hope your day gets better. OMG....G is the same way damn ooman, dont blow up the joint now!! i am such a scatterbrain....i almost burned my house down on sunday. hubby lit some candles and my dumb #### goes and puts a box of kleenex next to one of them. i was pressin out hubbys hair while the kleenex caught fire and i STILL didnt notice it until hubby jump up and shout OOMAN!!! mi seh whoops! han him seh..all yuh affi seh a whoops??!!!
