So here is how my interview went. Got there early around 9:45am, and my appointment was for 10:30am. Omg, the line outside was so long just to enter the building. Went to the front desk to give them my letter, then the lady told me have a seat and wait til my name being called. The room was so packed. While waiting I saw people studying for there test. Lol it made me feel better because, I have not finish reading the whole book yet. I then took my mine out started cramming every questions that I was having hard time on. After 10:50am, I started getting inpatient. I waited for 2 hours before they called my name. Finally arround 12:15am, the lady called my named. We went into her office. She then ask me to pull out my green card, passport, drivers license. She then went right into the testing. She ask some questions that you wouldn't even expect like:

1. Why did the colonists fight the British?
2. What happened at the constitutional convention?
3. What territory' did the united states buy from France in 1803?
4. Name one problem that led to the civil war?
5. During the cold war, what was the main concern of the United States?

She then said excellent and went right into the interview. And ask me if I want to participate in the ceremony at 2pm. I told her yes, but she told me to hold on, she will have to go and check to see if there is still space left. she came back and said sorry, that spot is full and she then put me for the Oath Ceremony at 9am this Friday 06/22/12. She said congratulations and you have one more step on Friday and you are done.(after that my heart felt relieved). I left happy and can't wait for this Friday to finally be over.

Good luck Cash! :star:

US Citizenship General DiscussionQUESTION 33 ON N 400

That should be enough... they ask for details but not sure how far they take that to verify... however, that is really irrelevant to your status here in the US - but making an income is always a good thing since you eventually are a tax payer :)

I was viewing your timeline and saw that u sent your package with priority mail.

Was it to the normal POBOX address or the Express one?

If I send it to the normal POBOX one by Priority, will they reject it?

Oh okay cool..

Another I have is about work history...

I received my GC in June and before that time I work with DC agency from April 07 to Dec 08; and then with another agency from Dec 08 till now.

Is that good enough for work history?

US Citizenship General DiscussionQUESTION 33 ON N 400

lifting conditions is when you obtain permanent residence through marriage. They provide you with a 2 year conditional GC where you need to apply for lifting conditions or removing conditions before the 2 year is up. At that time, you need to provide a bunch of evidence to reflect on the past two years to show details about your marriage and your intention was not for immigration purposes... once approved, you get the 10 year GC

UMUCMale02012-03-12 09:45:00
US Citizenship General DiscussionQUESTION 33 ON N 400

your answer should be NO

That's all they need and your proof is the date on your GC that shows you became a PR when you were older than 26 years.

Thank you very much man. I am gonna go fill it out and mail out as well

Also what is lifting condition?
UMUCMale02012-03-12 07:00:00
US Citizenship General DiscussionQUESTION 33 ON N 400

You were not a permanent resident before 26 and it should not matter. You can put as not registered in the application since were older than 26 when you got your green card.

So the answer will be NO?

I posted the question for the other person that replied(Mike)
UMUCMale02012-03-11 20:16:00
US Citizenship General DiscussionQUESTION 33 ON N 400
Thd question reads "Are you a male who lived in the United States at any time between your 18th and 26th birthdays in any status except as a lawful nonimmigrant?

Base on your explanation it will be NO right?
UMUCMale02012-03-11 20:11:00
US Citizenship General DiscussionQUESTION 33 ON N 400
So the answer to the question is NO on the application?

.....and yes you came on a nonimmigrant visa. Nonimmigrant basically means you did not move here with the INTENT to stay here and make this your permanent home. So, yes, lawful (because you were paroled at a POE) nonimmigrant visa it was.
