I am really worried that the economy will derail this process: -- Will USCIS (or more likely embassies) lower the threshold for rejecting K-1s? -- What happens if I lose my job mid-process? Then I won't meet income requirements. -- What if I can't afford to send my future wife home for regular visits? So far, I have no immediate reason to fear for the job, but ... Add to the anxiety I already feel about the whole thing and it's becoming unbearable, really.
