Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin, Part 24!	yeah..one of roger's bahamian friends comes to Dallas every year for thanksgiving and was in Florida all the time since its like a $200 ticket.. roger said the previous travelers messed up everything for Jamaicans coming here with the crime and violence sunny, did chris come to MD for the funeral??.. roger had been wanting to call him, but i told him he would be in md busy w/ kim.. yeah thats my excuse.. WORK.. SSA is cracking down again Yes, I heard back in the day it was very easy for folks to get a visa, but from the reports a lot of people from Bahamas, Haiti, Jamaica and other islands are deported each year or serving time here for crimes. I'm glad I was able to go show my support. Dills: Glad hubby made it home safely.... Ray calls all of my numbers until he gets me even on the weekends he calls my job. I'm alway's asking him what is he thinking when he does that. I don't like to go in on the weekday and you expect for me to be there on the weekends. He's nuts... Congrats on the kittens Philly. Sounds like the Link-up is getting large. That's great! Can't believe AirTran wants $20 to reserve a seat in the exit row. Hubby said he'll sit there, but he's not helping anyone off the plane in the event of an emergency. It's sad, but I believe him so we'll find another place to sit on the flight. Hey Tee... Kj, I like JetBlue, but they don't offer any direct flights to JA. I try not to lay over if I don't have to. It's really quiet today. I'm talking trash and the last time I was in Philly I didn't even try one, but we do have really good ghetto get down greasy ones in Maryland. I'm not even sure about Maryland having the best seafood because I've had some really good seafood in Florida and other places. Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin, Part 24!	Here's a realy good dessert recipe. I made this instead of the rum brownies today... Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Bars Ingredients CRUST: 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix 1 egg, beaten 1/2 cup butter, softened CENTER: 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips TOPPING: 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened 1 (16 ounce) package confectioners' sugar 3 eggs, beaten 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Directions Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan. In a medium bowl, mix together the cake mix, 1 egg and butter until well blended. The batter will be stiff. Crumble and press into the prepared pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over, and press them into the crust slightly. For the topping, beat the cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, 3 eggs and vanilla in a medium bowl using an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Spread over the chocolate chip layer. Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin, Part 24!	I found a recipe that I'm going to try this weekend and thought I would share it. LAYERED RUM BROWNIES Each layer of these delicious brownies must be completely cool before the next layer is added. FIRST LAYER: 1 (12.9 oz.) pkg. brownie mix (bake as directed on box) 1 c. chopped nuts 2 tbsp. rum Follow directions on box to make brownies, adding nuts. Spread rum over top of baked brownies while still hot. Refrigerate. SECOND LAYER: 4 tbsp. melted butter 1 3/4 c. confectioners' sugar 2 tbsp. rum Mix ingredients until spreading consistency. Spread over brownies and refrigerate. THIRD LAYER: 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips 1 tbsp. butter Milk Melt chocolate chips and butter in the microwave until smooth. Add milk by teaspoons until of spreading consistency. Spread over second layer and refrigerate. Good But Oh So Fattening!!! He also trimmed the tree that was blocking my sun at the end of the season. Left here at 2 and went up to a part of the city we call Dogtown, which is chuck full of Irish people. I missed the parade; but the aftermath....a giant street party that was probably 10 blocks long of wall to wall people and then surrounding blocks of backyard parties was still going strong. We stood around what was apparently the fireman block and mad fun of drunk people while we tried to catch up. I actually had someone try to get me to pee in a bucket of cat litter in the back of a van. I was having none of that! Went to our favorite bar to meet up with some friends.....hee hee, Dillon, do I need to say who was there??????? Dillon made her way over. Now that she knows where it is, there is no excuses for not meeting me up there some time! Ended up going to another bar for the remnants of corned beef and cabbage and devoured a whole pizza and tried to get Dillon drunk. She left us to go bar hopping.
