Hey Yardies,

Man ya'll caht to much. I've under the weather the last two days. Flu minus the swine a catch me. Ugh! On top of that my internet a give mi trouble so mi a watch Ophrah and food network for the last two days.

Been trying to keep up via blackberry, but my damn thumb is hurting. Lol. Big up to di folks that use BB all damn day.

Let's see.

Acrow, so sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. Maybe by the time they confirm a date for the funeral you make it down to JA. The most important thing is that hubby made it.

TL: babes, you knoa mi love yuh long time sista. Having met A made his decision hard for me to swallow. He seemed so sweet and innocent. Sometimes we question why certain things happen in our lives, but the truth of the matter is you did all you could in your relationship. You'll find someone much better simply because you deserve better.

Jawi: don't sweat the small things girl. I've learned to choose my battles. You know he's yours. If he's anything like Ray, he'll be calling you telling you he's ready to come home early. Lol

Favorite Barney song and I may spell it wrong: Hey Mr. Knick-a-bocker buckety Buck, I lika the way that you buckety buck. LMAO

Honey, link mi....

Moni: nice looking JA guy..screw the age difference as long as he's mature.I've had one person call me Ray's mother but I acted like I didn't hear him. LMAO

JAPriness: I google everything. I'm glad you were able to find the employment letter. I have a copie of mine if you want me to send it to you let me know. It was simple and to the point.

Philly: mi wah knoa why yuh like Jermaine so? Lol. Yuh tink im cute or yuh like im music?

Okay, my fingers are sore now and I'm not going back to check for typos. Lata

On another topic (maybe this will lighten the mood a little?), I now know how it feels to be a parent (or wife) & having to hide presents from someone. Never had to do that before. While mister was playing socc....ahem, football, Sunday morning, I snuck off to Target to get him the Spongebob cuddle pillow he eyeballed a couple months ago. I also got him a remote-controlled helicopter. He never had toys as a kid so I'm spoiling him a little. Those 'toys' & the Beenie Man show will be his b-day presents. Of course, now I have to hide these things in the car until I get a chance to sneak them into our tiny apartment where it's nearly impossible to hide anything! He never looks in the overhead storage in the bathroom though. whistling.gif yes.gif laughing.gif

Damien doe not like to accept gifts from me so I have to trick him. He loves cologne, cds, and watches so I have to be creative...once I woke up at 3am to put them in his car and once in his lunch box. I love it.

Did I tell you about the time Ray got me some perfume. OMG, I was like how much did you pay for it because I had never heard of the brand and I wanted to make sure someone did take advantage of him. Well, the perfume was cheaper online than what he paid and I told him. LAWD! Why did I do that. He went off and said he's never buying me anything else and instead he'll just give me the money. wacko.gif I messed that up, but oh well so it go.

I thought about this again.

Ok, we have Kelly's word that Craig is a piece of work etc etc.

Let's say that's ALL a lie and he is in fact a decent man, loving etc etc.

What I cannot stomach is HOW they met. (I know I am jumping to conclusions here, maybe Renee is going to say they are just close friend etc)

As Sunny will tell you, I met her and Ray soon after he came here and I was jobless at the time, and Ray is a REALLY lovely guy. So I asked her if she minded me coming and pickning him up etc which she was 100% cool with.
And I sure as hell didn't have any ulterior motives.
But, I didn't end up hanging out with him because deep down I just felt it was somehow disrespectful to be hanging round with SOMEONE ELSE'S husband.

There's a big difference here. I TRUST MY HUSBAND.... Friends do stuff like this all the time. You have to put your trust in your husband and not trust in your friend.

Well Finesse, I have been feeling violated lately. This damn raccoon has been coming on my balcony and biting my trash can top trying to get to my trash. Once night I kept hearing this noise and though it was my neighbor moving his trash can. After an hour of the same noise, I run down stairs and pull back the curtains to find a Pitbull sized raccoon sitting on top of my trash can looking me dead in my eyes. I hurry up and closed the curtains and ran screaming. That thing gave me the creeps. Ray scared it away, but now that Ray works at night I still hear it.

Last night I heard the noise again, so I threw a glass of water through my screen bedroom window with hopes of frightning it. Now, I have to pay $40 to buy another trash can because I can't buy just a trash can top. Damn wild animals. Why don't they go find a dumpster somewhere? I'm scared. My uncle said to mix some antifreeze and sugar and leave it out there for them to drink it, so I asked what will that do. He said it will blow up their stomach. unsure.gif So I guess I'll end up having to remove a dead raccoon. Yuk!

I am studying the hunting safety materials so I can take the written test before October 5th and the field test on the 12th. If you need me to come.......um......help you out there, just hollar whistling.gif

From that last link:

there are no poisons you can use that will not also be a risk to or available to pets or other, more desireable wildlife, not to mention the possibility (however remote) of kids getting into it. Even if the posion is restricted to areas like garbage cans, dead poisoned raccoons can be consumed by dog or cats which then become poisoned themselves.

I thought my uncle was crazy when he said that. lol I'm not going to poison the animal, I'll find another solution. Maybe we can put a brick on the lid to the trash can Ja Princess, Hopefully, I won't find any kids on my deck. lol My deck doesn't have any steps.

Now we have job applications out, just waiting for a call back.

Roxcie, did you add him to one of your credit cards?

NO, Bank of America will give 1st time Credit Card holders a small credir. His bank acct is with Bank of America, becuse they have an association with the Scora sp Bank in JA.

Okay, so we are having 'pushy father-in-law' issues. Lehi's Dad wants to buy him a bus ticket to take the 90 minute ride to his city to see him perform next weekend. I've explained we don't have the gas money (or going out money) & I have school assignments so I can't be going out every weekend but he's still insisting on Lehi coming since of course, they don't want to do the 3 hour drive back & forth to get him & drop him off. Today he kept persisting until Lehi just plain got mad at his Dad. He told him he doesn't want to go places without me so to leave it be. Now my poor honey didn't have a very productive day at school since his mind was on the 'argument'. I'm not sure how to handle this. The man is pushy though....he keeps insisting that he wants to hook us up with free cable since that's what he does. I've told him each time that I'm NOT INTERESTED in having cable (we don't need to have any more reasons than we currently do to spend more time watching TV) & I don't want 'illegal' cable....just don't need any hassles & I'm already fighting my couch-potato tendencies so NO THANK YOU. But, he keeps bringing it up. We are trying to be nice here since this relationship is very new but we are going to have to start putting our collective foot down! Whaddayado??

boy ells that's a tough one
i hate when ppl push their agendas on me
i'd politely tell him we're not in a position to do that right now
explain to him we have busy weekends and tell him we hardly watch tv so we don't need cable
but come to think of it, if he's pushy that probably won't work
i think with ppl like that you ultimately have to be blunt with them, and they can take it or leave it
i hope mr ells feels better

Tell him Hell to da naw hubby don't wanna come and WE DON'T WANT NO DAMN BOOTLEG CABLE.

Hey Sunny, as for the hanging out, soon. He is now feeling better about his transition, he went out by himself Sat and had his locks re-done. He found the shop by himself too.

Okay, I'm glad he's feeling better. It's hard and at first I didn't undestand, but now I know how they feel leaving Jamaica. I'm not even from Jamaica and I'm having a hard time with not booking a trip and going on down there. lol

Way to go Ells and Quana... good.gif I pray that everything gets approved with no RFE's.

Bunz, I was going to say I feel your pain, but I know your pain is a better way of putting it. It was be an adjustment and that's normal. Ray has been here 11 months and he still has thoughts about Jamaica and misses his life the way it was there. I would be concerned if you didn't have nervous feelings about coming here. When you get here, don't give up on praying because you'll need it to help get you through. We'll be here for you every step of the way when you need an ear to listen to you so hang in there girlie. Hang in there.

Hey Rox,

When are you going to let Joel hang out with Ray and Damien?

Dang..... I got to the last page of part 18 and was all happy I'd caught up only to find there's a damn Part 19.

Happy Birthday Ms. Tee and MANY MOOOOOORE....

Quana, when I filed AOS Ray's name wasn't on anything and I didn't have a problem.

Hey Bunz and Dillion.

Regarding bills and joint account? I have been wondering about this.

How are you doing tonight Sunny?

Dillion, we were both thinking alike tonight. I'm doing good, just tired as hell because I worked from 7:30 untim 8:30 today. Whay does stuff alway's happen on Friday?

Yes, with bills I sent nothing. What do they expect, your husband just arrived and isn't working or anything. Most don't even have a SSN. It wasn't a problem for me. Not sure if anyone else had problems.
