Thanks so much for your reply, Okay!

We have a really close priority date--- so I will keep posting and look out for your future posts too! Hoping for 5 months over here but preparing and expecting longer.

Do you have any insight into the K3 being allegedly "obsolete"? I was told it might shave off a couple of weeks of wait but not sure if that is the case anymore or not...

Best of luck. The wait is turning out to be grueling!

Best of luck friend and I am hoping for 5 months, but as it goes, with the queue in Nebraska service centre,  I am afraid it will be much longer than that. But, we never know...

I also hear all the time that K-3 is not functional but still decided to try, to see if we are in those 0.3 percent people that get approved for it :)))

My priority date is 12/12/2013.... and I think my K3 has been adjucated (sp*) here as I have this notice within the case checker on the USCIS website:

"On January 24, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance."

and also:

"On January 24, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance."

What exactly does this mean? Everything is at the NSC.  Thanks!

Our priority date for I-130 is December 17 2013.

After that we filed for K-3, and got the same message as you did.

This according to what I read on this forum, only means that they received the K-3 application and entered it in the system.

Nothing to be happy or sad for.

Anyone update for your case at this centre?

I suggest we all write a petition and letter for the work of this center. They should not do I-130 files as secondary if-there is time-petitions, but as primary because they have to do with the family unity. What is up with that, that some service centers are treating our applications as a documents that should stay there forever?! How come that most of the people are transferred into this center where there is the biggest backlog!

National Visa Center (Dept of State)After how much time does NVC assign a case number and enter the case in the system?

My husband that is U.S. citizen just called NVC to ask them what our case number is (since our I-130 was approved June 11t) and the person on the phone told him they needed 25 days to receive the case and additional 30 days to enter the case into the system. Is this the time frame it usually takes? I would please ask you to tell me your experience in this. And how long does it take from the I-130 approval to the interview being appointed? Thanks a lot  :goofy:

National Visa Center (Dept of State)CASE in process of termination? What does this mean?
This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately.

I am the principal applicant for the spouse visa. We were trying to pay the AOS form for 2 weeks every day but it said it was not invoiced yet. We contacted NVC on the phone twice a week and they said sometimes it could take up to 20 days for the fee to be invoiced.

Today I checked again and saw this message.

Has someone else got it? What does it mean? We are confused and worried...  Please help, if you know something that could be done.

National Visa Center (Dept of State)N/A on the Affidavit of support

Hi dear friends  :star:

I heard many people got checklist for not putting N/A on the Affidavit of support.

Where exactly are those N/A supposed to be put? Is it on everything that is supposed to be blank or is there some other `rule`?

Thanks and sorry for bothering :goofy:  :goofy:  :goofy:

National Visa Center (Dept of State)Did a stupid mistake! Please help

Dear friends, please help if you know what we can do.

We sent both the AOS and the IV packages at once (2 packages into 2 separate envelopes and then into one big).

Now, we did that, before my IV fee was invoiced. Therefore, we paid the IV fee afterwards.

In other words, in my IV package I miss the DS 230 form and the bar coded coversheet for the IV fee.

How can I fix this? Will the only solution be to get a checklist and to wait additional 2 months? Thanks in advance.  :goofy:

At what point do these 60 days start? At the moment the two packages (IV package and AOS package) are sent?

USCIS Service Centersusps and uscis both have no clue
don't worry it's just there, give them few more days. ours was mailed on august 27, the following day we got the notice via tracking services of the usps that it was delivered to dallas. few more days passed and no more updates if it was delivered to csc or not. we got worried. my fiance contacted someone from the post office and he was told they cannot find it. seemed like the world crashed before us. he further contacted the csc and also told it wasn't there. we waited for more days before filing up the I-129F again. but then on september 4, my fiance got the noa1 in via mail. and still waiting for the noa2...
goodluck!

United KingdomAfter all the hoops we have jumped through, 4 days into my new American job USCIS emails me.....

I have the same case with the OP. I informed my employer about the TNC and he said he did not receive any notice from E-verify regarding my case. He said he will call me back. Two days had passed but no call from him yet.  I suspect the fault was on the EAD card number. I remember the guy from HR filled in my USCIS A# instead of the EAD card # (felt bad that I didn't check him right away). I cannot make a call with the DHS nor SSA to check it since I have not received Further Action Notice from my employer yet. This is so frustrating as I am excited to start my work on Monday.

Ah okay, vaccines are given depending on the age and history of immunization of the applicant. And yes, as mentioned, vaccines are already included in the payment.

hi everyOne.. just want to know two things for those who had passed/approve/experienced.....

1st..... if i given another shot for vaccine, do i need to pay another amount aside the regular payment which is $223 for my medical?

2nd..... just wondering,,,, in my (DS-160) says that im applying for non-immigrant visa application,

Now when i do start to fill up my visa appointment letter it gonna ask there again if Non-immigrant Or immigrant....

first i click the Non-immigrant like what i did for my (DS-160) and i couldn't find the K-1 stuff, so when i do repeat again and try to click the IMMIGRANT

and its look like i do it right the application of my  visa appointment letter...... which is which????

MY question is,,,, did i make it right BY clicking  the "IMMIGRANT" into my visa appointment letter?????????????????

Love Love Love and thank you in advance for all the comment and advises .....wishing all are best and  positive response for are future .......

Yeah, K1 is under Immigrant when u set an appointment date for the interview. As for the vaccine, I have no idea about it. It's better to contact St. Luke's for that. Just curious, what was that vaccine for that you were trying to ask?
