K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	FINALLY GOT THAT I-129F	I-129F APPROVED Hey All I went online at 9:50 and put my number in and was still a member of the invisible club. Went to the store came back and put my number in again ay 10:32 and ZAPP!!! I-129F was there and approved. For all the people that can't see their receipt online You will be able to see it the moment of approval I guess the INS want to keep you in suspense for that long. I want to say good luck to all who are still waiting approval, especial those who can't see their cases and have to remain in Limbo Hang in there because I assure you that your turn is coming Wayne, I just read your post.....then went online....and guess what? EEEEEEOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW........we got our approval!!!! You brang good luck!!!! ALLRIGHT LET'S GIVE A BIG ROUND FOR JIM-N-BENNIE Thank you sir! K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Medical B4 Packet 3 Forms	Hi Ya'll, We are currently waiting for the K-3 Package to reach the embassy in Bangkok (as it has left the NVC). Does anyone know if we actually have to wait to receive the Packet 3 forms from the Embassy or can we just download and get the medical now in order to save time? Thanks! K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Ok...uscis can update the processing times now please	They haven't updated since april 21 still claiming Feb 6 as the magic date. They received mine on Feb 22 so I'm getting pretty keen for some action. Also, I havent' been touched since March 1 which is the only time they have touched. I am not a K3 applicant, I am going through my K1 process, but during my process I have met a friend, and we had our interview at the same day, she had her K3 denied, and she said to me that she had her I130 aproved, but as I don't know anything about K3 I can't help her... reading here this forum, I could notice that she could abandon her k3, it is a pity she didn't do this and went to the K3 interview instead... well, now they are kind of lost in what to do and I would like to help them with some information, and I would like to know if someone here have already seen some similar situation, like being denied for K3... K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Interview scheduled	My husbands interview is scheduled for May 23rd. On the one hand I am excited that it is scheduled, on the other, it seems that date will make it impossible for us to be together for our anniversary on the 30th since he wont have possession of his passport to try and meet me in Canada and with all the Swedish and American holidays it is unlikely he will have his passport and visa before the 31st. She and my daughter finally arrived at Hartsfield airport in Atlanta Monday. And after all the waiting and agonizing on Visa Journey her flight, due to weather was delayed for 2 1/2 hours. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Getting rid of attorney	Hey fellow-suffers, I am sure there must be others who must have felt the urge to fire their attorney and do things themselves. I was very unsure of this process and hence hired an immigration attorney who is not doing anything. For example, the NVC reports that it sent out an affidavit of support and immigration visa fee bill to my attorney over 3 weeks ago and my attorney is not entertaining my inquiries. After reading the forums, I feel confident enough to take this on myself -- especially use James's NVC Shortcuts :-). So my question -- since my attorney is my current agent, how do I go about changing that at NVC? Also, has anyone fired their attorney? Anything I should watch out for? Is there a recomended process (if there is, then that's pretty scary <grin>). Thanks in advance, KP Ken Pathak Like yourself we also had an attorney who was a piece of S#@*!! Everything she told us was fabrication hell she was so damned bad that when my wife complained to her main office we received a full refund as well as an apology. When we filled put our paperwork pro se (By ourselves) not only did it go through but my wife case was approved six months faster than what the attorney predicted. My personal opinion is that it will have no bearing unless they can't appear in court for a divorce hearing due to being in jail. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Can't I even ask Questions	Dear All It seems every time I post a topic and ask for help I get warnings about smearing my ex wife The things I post I do so because I am seeking advice not to smear anyone on here but it seems as though every time I do I get this warning because some people tend to use the law to their advantage and hide behind it. But my mother (GOD rest her soul) had two sayings that I will alway live by 1. A toothless dog can't bite you, 2. All dogs have their day and a coward has two. What Iposted yesterday was that if I were to prosecute someone (Which the credit card company states they will certainly do) that I am getting a divorce from will it slow up my divorce? That is all that I wanted to know, to see if anyone out there has been in this situation? If the USCIS catch wind of the charge and put a person out the country I could care less but I am again asking one question and one question only WILL PROSECUTION CHARGES SLOW MY DIVORCE? Seriously , waiting for Consulate is a whole lot different than the kind of stress immigration put you under - wishing you God's speed Wayne or Yodrak, how did you know when your package arrives at the consulate? I was told ours was mailed from NVC on 1 May but when I did a search on DHL today I only found packages mailed to Bangkok on 27 Apr., 28 Apr and another today. I am hoping ours was one of the earlier ones but we still have not received packet 3. We have finished the medical and police report and have everything ready to mail to the consulate in order to get our interview appointment but am afraid to mail just yet as they will throw this away if they have not received our package from NVC. Did anyone use the fillable forms they downloaded from the Forms and Fees wed site? Mine are all done on the fillable forms and I hope to mail them off tomorrow. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I751 Abuse Excuse	Has anyone out there going through a divorce from your wife or husband and they filed a I751 to get conditions removed? My attorneys contacted INS enforcement who informed them that most marriages that end before conditions are removed, that the recipient will, a lot of times file an I751 claiming abuse, it's what the agent called the "Abuse Excuse" (their words not mine). I am in no way stating that some cases are very legitimate and the respondent did not come to this country with good intentions because some do. But what the INS enforcemnt will do is pull everything that you and your respondent has filed and go through it with a fine tooth comb and that includes going to the respondant's country of orgin and do another extensive records check to see if something was either missed or something new has materialized.
