National Visa Center (Dept of State)HELP!! Need Advice about NVC!!

Me and my now, wife, did not use lawyer, but we had to have a hard copy of the NVC number before our visa company in the Philippines, would schedule the interview, and after I got the number from NVC on the phone, it was about 15-20 days until I received the "hard copy" from NVC..,.,.immediately e mailed to the visa company in the Phils.,.,.and we got an interview date almost immediately

Its just what we went through, best of luck to you, would suggest no one get an attorney, unless extenuating circumstances, waste of money, just follow the advice of this site!

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresK-3 Vs. CR-1 Visa HELP!
Forget there has ever been a thing called K-3. File your I-130, and go forward, and unless something happens, out what is happening which is happening now, expect the 8-12 month wait, then NVC.., it is not easy for any of us, my wife was 10 months and 4 days, on a K-1 visa,.., just do your reserach, file all paperwork, and good luck, and I would suggest stop looking for and 5 month portals, and this web site backs that up, learn Igor's site, and if you want future help here, it would be nice for you to at least fill out your time line for fellow members to see, and help you with. Good luck!

It sounds like you need to make plans, for your baby where your wife is now.

But, start about thinking what to do, "after" the birth"..,..,.about bringing them to the USA..,.,.,to me that would be my biggest concern.

These "moderators" are very knowledgable, and I give credit to them.,.,.,.,.,but..,.,.,.I just see it too many times.,.,...,one looking for something to correct, or talk down to you.,.,.,.,and "There must be order and a strict code of conduct" on this site.,.,.,.., just an opinion!!!!!!  It is "overboard" ..,.,.,."sometimes!"

You have not stated the difference in your ages, if it is a sensitive subject, then so be it, but if we knew more, we could tall you more.

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionHow critical is it to be engaged befor the interview???
To me "YOU" really dropped the ball here, how could you ask a lady to marry you without getting down on one knee and asking the question, did you ask her her Skype, just funnin'.,,. but it could cause her a probblem,., it could certainally lead to more questions for her! What was you thinkin?

Getting married, engaged, and you have not given her a ring? You will have alot to make up for, when you see her, as, just to me it is embarassing for her I am sure, but just make it "right" with her, YOU owe her bigtime,.,.., hahhahhah Good Luck!

Does the I-129 ask, "Have you had 3 or more DUI's or drug convictions.,.,..,.I do not think it states, within so many years, THIS..,.,.to me is a question that was not answered truthfully.,.,.,.,.,let alone all that other stuff.,,.,.,in which to me, I would have submitted a letter notarized, and stated the "many" offenses you have had.

Failure to do this, in my opinion, has caused your ultimate denial.  I hope I am wrong..,,.but when you sign the I-129, you answer your answers are true and correct.

It says nothing about "felony DUI".,.,..,it says 3 or more DUI's.,,.,.if what I have read, is accurate, you signed a false statement!
