K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	A MUST READ FOR NOA 2's WAITING!!!!!!!!!!!	I have been communicating with "Andy" a fellow VJer, and he called (VSC) day befoe yesterday as a June 21 filer, and got a "service request", and suggested I do the same, as thought I am a NOA 1 June 28! I will relate to my fellow members what happened today! """UNBELIEVABLE" I called the VSC, got the typical level one responce person, telling me they were working on May 28th petitions, and we all know that is BS, and I told her I knew she was telling me what she was told to tell me, as I told her that more than 70% of June was processed! She said nothing, but I was extremely nice to her, asking about days off around the holidays, and the weather there, and before long she was willing to get me to a Tier 2 supervisor, she said the wait may be very long, and I said "fine, I will wait" About 5 minutes later, a Teir 2 person came on the line, and asked many questions, she was kind of "cold" and "could care less, attitude" to start with. I started talking to her about many things, like they are doing there best to bet petitions processed, and people do not appreciate their efforts there, her time off in the holidays, etc..,.,,we had a very nice conversation, and I just told her I knew for sure that people in JULY were approved (me June 28)and I just kept an even tone to my voice, and the big questions came from her, your benificary name, HER BIRTH DATE, (got it right) and she told he to hold the line, about 10 minutes later she came on the line saying, """YOU are approved and will get a notice within 30 days""".,,.WOW, now all of us VJers know that you get those words, you are 5-7 days from formal notice of approval.,.,.my words to her was "I know what that means, we will be approved in a few days".,., she said "NOTHINNG"., as she was going by guidlines.,and I thanked her, wished her Merry Xmas, and told her I hoped she had time off for Xmas, she had really warmed up to the conversation and she said, """If all callers to Teir 2 was as nice, cordial, non-combative, frustrated, and well informed as you, they would all get better results from us, we are human too, we just work here and do the best we can do""" so I suggest if you call VSC, unless you have a severe issue, use "butter on your tounge" and talk to these people reasonablly, I am elated and am looking for my NOA 2 any day now,.,,really what gave """her"" away was when I said "I know what that means, you are approved and will be notifiled in less than 30 days", I told her that means within a week.,.,.,.,,THE PHONE WAS SILENT, SHE SAID NOTHING.,.,., so that gave it away.,.,.,.,. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Confused About Where NVC is??????	I received my I 797 yesterday. Now I need a letter from NVC with a MNL number on it. I just talked to a friend on the phone who has already got his bride here from the Philippines!!! He told me that ""MY"" NVC letter will come from the consulate in Manila, and the I 797 does say, "your petition has been approved and forwarded to the appropriate consulate" and the NVC for me is in the consulate at Manila and my beneficiary will also get a copy with the MNL number on it probably before I get a hard copy.,.,YOUR thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated, and any opinions on how long it takes to get this MNL number??? To: Tintin and Mike, sorry for the typing(.,.,,) if you go to the St. Luke's web site it plainly tells you that you must have a hard copy of the MNL number sent from NVC, before you will be allowed to take a physical for K 1 visa!!! I know I can start calling NVC next week asking for the MNL number.,.,.,but can I start the medical/interview process with just the number, or do I have to have the ""hardcopy""?? My I 797 was dated 12-31-12, I called NVC this afternoon, and the your man on the phone from NVC was "super nice" as I gave him all the required information he needed, and he told me that "we got your petition today and here is your MNL number" and I asked him when I would get a hard copy (It is required for the medical at St. Luke's) and he said, "we do no gathering of information here, and petitions like this do NOT stay long here maybe a few days to a week, usually", I thought this was very encouraging news, and he told me "to check back each day to see if it has been sent to Manila" he also told me the "hard copy" would be e mailed also, and I could print if off and would have my "hard copy", again, this young man was "super" to me!!! We were 186 days..,.,count yourself as being blessed.,.,so many people are beyong 180 days.,.,.we are at NVC now and I have our MNL number just waiting for it to go to the consulate! Hang in there, it is coming very soon, when you leat expect it.,.,,.I was "Skyping" with my fiance 15 minutes after it was New Years day there.,.,.,.,and the email "just popped up on the screen".,,..,,.so we got to enjoy that together on New Year's Day.,.,,.what a thrill..,.now hope NVS has it our of ther in a few days! USCIS Service Centers	Contact VSC	Hello my fellow VJ.com users and members! I know I have seen the information on this site that I will ask for, but never thought I would need it. What is the best procedure to get a teir 2 (supervisor type) on the phone at the posted phone number listed for VSC? Also, does VSC have an e mail address you can actually get a responce from? I leave Monday for the Philippines (Cebu) to see my fiance, and you can see during while I am gone our K 1 will be about 5 and 1/2 months, and I could get our NOA 2, and I hope by e mail as I have registered it with the VSC. As I will not be here in the USA to get the "hard copy" and if that would happen, then I would probably extend and stay there until she gets her visa.,.,instead of coming back after her in a few weeks after I would come back to the USA (Dec. 20, scheduled).,,. USCIS Service Centers	Visa IS in Cebu 2GO! How long?	After 9 and 1/2 months, my fiancé's visa is finally in Cebu from Manila! We tracked it online (thanks to my fav. member Hank) and it arrived Saturday morning at 7:37 a.m. That was a Saturday morning, does anyone have any idea how long it will take a "courier" to contact my fiancé., now that the visa is in 2GO's hands here in Cebu. Tomorrow is Monday., if we don't hear something early we are going to call the Peir 7 2GO where the visas's come in and see if we can pick it up, as we have a text that is an option! Me and my wife now filed June 2012, and was 186 days until e mail for NoA 2. The just HOPE you do not have the "corrupt Filipino" medical at St Luke's.,.,.when doctors are told to send 30-to 50% of medicals through ""Sputum"" delay.,.,.,.,we did.,.,but we endured, and made it.,.,and 10 konths and 4 days later she entered P.O.E. Atlanta, 4-24-2013. Count your lucky blessings you have, to go through something like this! YOU, have NO complaints comings, at this point in time!!! USCIS Service Centers	Seems mostly Filipinos K1 fiancees have gotten NOA2 for Dec/13 filers	Me and my wife have come through the K-1 visa, and she is from thee Phils., but there was no expidating of visas. We wwaited 186 days for NOA 2, and still was 3 and 1/2 months until her P.O.E. due to NVC, medical, CFO, etc. I am not sure what your expectations are, but it would seem to me you are somewhat upset at waiting, Dec. 2013 and now we are 2 months or less, and some from Autum 2013 are still waiting..,.., not sure what your complaint is, to me, God's speed to you, but to me it is just not your turn.
