PhilippinesCFO EXIT SEMINAR
QUOTE (ErosandSally @ Jun 14 2009, 10:02 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
That is not the point.....LOL devil.gif you

If things keep on going the way they are now...unfortunately it may happen..she cant come home crying.gif

Tax the tourists on their way into the country....when they arrive at airport...call it Leisure TAX or whatever name suit them better

instead of sucking every Pesos of your own people on the way out.....

It would be fair and more appropriate way....just an opinion..nothing else
.

Not too many tourist coming,so you know what that means devil.gif ...A few years back,OFWs also has to pay terminal fees...but they have changed it into OEC to make it sounds better:))

Workers with new contracts have to pay for an OWWA membership when they go to their worksites abroad, as well as buy separate insurance, after which an Overseas Employment Certificate is issued to them. The OEC is presented at the airport when a worker checks in for a flight, exempting him or her from travel tax worth 1,670 pesos (US$34) and airport tax. The OEC, which costs 100 pesos (2$) is only valid for a single trip. So a worker has to apply and pay for it every time he or she travels abroad from the Philippines either upon getting a new contract or simply returning to work from a holiday. More travel means more money for the government through these OECs. However, once again workers are largely unaware how the government spends these funds....and one more thing...we used to pay for trolley at the airport for 1$...!

The short story is "they" want to make sure your pockets are empty of PESOS before you leave the country...

ANOTHER BUREAUCRATIC WAY by the FILIPINO gov to suck out of the poor pinoy emigrant pocket another 650 pesos

and that not include the AIRPORT taxes......on your way out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GOD Bless them...........

Pay as they want or your fiancee cant come home, your choice devil.gif

QUOTE (sunandmoon @ Jul 8 2009, 12:58 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
This guy had a birthday to remember....

Last week was my birthday and I didn't feel very well waking up that morning. I went downstairs for breakfast hoping my wife would be pleasant and say, "Happy Birthday!", and possibly have a present for me.

As it turned out, she barely said good morning, let alone "Happy Birthday."

I thought... Well, that's marriage for you, but the kids will remember.

My kids came into breakfast and didn't say a word. So when I left for the office, I was feeling pretty low and somewhat despondent.

As I walked into my office, my secretary Jane said, "Good morning, boss. Happy Birthday!"

I felt a little better that at least someone had remembered. I worked until one o'clock and then Jane knocked on my door and said, you know, it's such a beautiful day outside, and it's your birthday. Let's go out to lunch, just you and me."

I said, "Thanks Jane. That's the greatest thing I've heard all day. Let's go!"

We went to lunch. But we didn't go where we normally would go. We dined instead at a little place with a private table. We had two martinis each and I enjoyed the meal tremendously .

On the way back to the office, Jane said, "You know, it's such a beautiful day... We don't need to go back to the office, do we?"

I responded, "I guess not. What do you have in mind?"

She said, "Let's go to my apartment."

After arriving at her apartment jane turned to me and said, "Boss, if you don't mind, I'm going to step into the bedroom for a moment. I'll be right back."

"Ok." I nervously replied.

She went into the bedroom and, after a couple of minutes, she came out carrying a huge birthday cake... Followed by my wife,

kids, and dozens of my friends and co-workers, all singing "Happy Birthday".

And I just sat there...

On the couch...

Naked.

That's a nice one Roy,i really need a good laugh today... laughing.gif

Philippinesmy husband hold in manila immigration

im sorry for all coz i have many problems about visa and travel after my husband deforting to philippine immiggration he need to gget a clearance to homeland security, but i dont know what exactly clearance he need to gget that is immigration need to enter again to philippines

How many days is he staying?I have a feeling your husband is hiding something from you..When entering the Philippines for 21 days or less, customs officials do not ask or inquire about your criminal history or background. You are only required to submit to a criminal back ground check if you plan to stay for more than 21 days and have to submit an application for a visa (You do not need a visa for 21 days or less) .

Filipinos denied Passport if we committed crime.

Unlike Americans Convicted criminals/felons are entitled to a passport just like everyone else. You will not be denied a passport just because you have a criminal record. You will however be denied a passport if the criminal background check shows that you have an outstanding arrest warrant or if you are in arrears more than $3000.00 in child support. Registered sex offenders are obligated to inform the local police or sheriffs department of any travel plans and destinations though.   Please correct me if I am wrong..

I think so , yes .

Tama ka sis:)

The dictionary meaning of “bastardization” is the process of producing a ####### or mongrel or the “inbreeding of diverse breeds or strains” (Webster’s, l969: 72, 547). For example, the combination of Itneg and Iloko in Bangued, Pidigan, and Tayum in Abra Province produced the distinctive in-Iloko of Abra quite different from the in-Iloko of Ilocos Norte. The in-Iloko of Abra had replaced in-Itneg5 formerly spoken in Bangued, Pidigan, and Tayum. How this happened is therefore the subject matter of this paper in the hope of shedding some light into the problem of explaining the diverse ethnolinguistic groups in our country which is still observable today..
