Wow! I like it how you prepared your documentation. really cool! I bet your CO was really impressed good.gif crying.gif as for me, I don't know how to start it. Any suggestions? innocent.gif
Don't know where to start wacko.gif

By the way, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

LOL I was exactly like you when our petition was approved, don't know where to start and was not thinking of organizing everything. But way back while waiting for NOA2 I started printing e-mails and chat logs so I could just relax while waiting for interview day. But still though I have printed chat and email logs, I still was still rushing until the day before my interview hahaha!
So I suggest you prepare all your necessary documents like NBI, BC, CENOMAR, ETC... then start collecting all your proofs like emails, chat logs, pictures in a simple bendable album, phone records, etc...

Easier said LOL I know... but I want to wish you good luck and may God bless you throughout your journey. THANKS!

ate you said "bendable album" crying.gif what do you think about my scrapbook? crying.gif do i have to change it? crying.gif

PhilippinesNovember interviews...
i really suggest that you call USEM and ask if you are already qualified to schedule an appointment for your interview, from what i understand, they will send you a confirmation letter through email, and that's what you should bring to your interview,

somebody correct me if im wrong smile.gif

^^ Sana mapasama ako sa November interviewees... I'm still waiting for the letter from USEM... mellow.gif

Okay Jo, hope we will see each other at USEM. What will you wear? Okay lang ba na casual attire? Sana okay ang interview natin no? Me knoting problema kasi sa akin dahil low income husband ko last 2007 coz of the recession. Nasa real estate kasi sya.

And to Tedjen, bakit wala pang USEM letter mo? Did NVC send it to USEM na? Kasi mine was just 1 week after NVC sent it to USEM. Then October 3, my husband called up USEM to schedule my interview sa Nov. 3. Sana dumating na sulat mo. Pray lang tayo.

Hindi pa naman ganun katagal... We just approved on October 1, I don't know if NVC received and/or forwarded our papers to USEM already...

I'm hoping before end of this month mareceive ko na yung letter...

God bless us!

I intend / do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in item 3.

(If you check "intend," indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions. For example, if you intend to furnish room and board, state for how long and, if money, state the amount in U.S. dollars and state whether it is to be given in a lumpsum, weekly or monthly, and for how long.

Is this the question?

11. I _ intend _ do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in item 3.
(If you check "intend," indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions. For example, if you intend to furnishroom and board, state for how long and, if money, state the amount in U.S. dollars and state whether it is to be given in a lumpsum, weekly or monthly, and for how long.

heto ang sample na sagot:
I intend to marry xxxxxxxxxx(your name) and provide for her needs in terms of room and board, clothing, food, transportation and etc.,. xxxxxx (your name) will receive my lifelong support.

When was the last time u called the embassy for interview schedule?

so ano sasabihin mo if they ask u when is your interview date? di naman pwede wala pa, kasi paano nila i po foward and docs mo na di naman nila alam when nila dapat e bigay sa USEM. di mo naman dapat hintay ang leter na galing sa USEM, kc nung nag medical ako wala din ako nun, dumatin pag uwi ko na ng bahay, ang importante may appointment letter ka, yun email nila about your sched. kahit yunn NOA2 or NVC will work, but yung nga lang dapat may INTERVIEW SCHED kana. sis tawag lang tawag sa USEM, ano ba number tinatawagan yun?

i guess itatanong ko na lang kung papayag ba silang magpamedical ako kahit wala pang interview schedule, im gonna take my chances na rin, kasi yung iba pinapayagan naman daw, pero pag hindi nila ako pinayagan e di uuwi, kakailang tawag na kasi kami sa USEM tapos sabi nirereview pa rin daw ang papers namin, the last time na tumawag kami was monday, and pang apat na tawag na namin yun, so dalawang beses na kaming bumibili ng pin kasi wala naman akong landline, nareceive ng USEM ang papers namin last 10.23 pa, so we dont know whats taking them so long, so i guess im just gonna go ahead and have my physical today, para pag tumawag kami ulit sa lunes at pag binigyan na nila kami ng schedule for interview e yun na lang ang hihintayin namin, 1-888-877-9888 yan ang tinatawagan namin,

well this is no harm in trying. kami nga wala kaming ka pro problema sa scheduling , but sa releasing naman ng bisa kami na tagalan. well good luck sis.

At SLEC's registration area they usually ask for the interview date and even the guards who give out number and forms. And at times if there were too many applicants having the medical at the same time they will prioritize the ones with the nearest date, your paper might end up being at the bottom. You should have called the SLEC first to confirm if you can. Mypapabear is right it's up to you to take chances. smile.gif

Uday, God willing you will have it anytime soon, baka nga next week nandyan na yun. If ever review man ng CO yung case mo, mabilis lang naman mag review yung CO natin based on someone's experience, she got pink slip after the interview (same CO) then CO had to review her paper for just 2 weeks lang, then the visa was issued (just in case your case in under review)... But since you were just interviewed recently, it's still early to say kung review pa nga nya yung case mo or on the way na visa mo... Basta let me know Uday! God Bless! pray ka lang ng pray I know how you miss your Lolo Mike hehehe!

(PS: To give you some peace of mind, let your fiance` call USEM 632 3012000 local 5184 or 5185 only the USC can call that number Uday).

Hi Melissa, I think I was on the edge of the cut off limit when they declared that they will waive the DV temporarily LOL

I think we had the same CO on window 31 (young man, black hair, slim)... I am still waiting for my visa now exactly 1 month and 3 days since I was interviewed. It was because I had to wait for my Document Verification... And now he is reviewing my papers.

I think you have only waited for few days and I think before the week ends or probably next week you will have your visa (God Willing)...
Just pray for it, most of the applicants who were interviewed this November did not encounter any delays so BE POSITIVE and keep praying for it. Keep us posted...

local authorities require a social security number even for non-immigrants, is it possible to get a social security card with just a fiance visa? or do i really have to get ss# even before we get married? please help,

I was expecting to be banned after I posted a nasty comment in a thread that was offensive to us Filipinas. I received a PM from a Moderator (she was nice and very objective) which said that she did not see any reason that I should receive a ban right now. However, I was also advised to please stop perpetuating the issue.

I reported the offensive post that prompted me to make a nasty comment and it was immediately removed by the Mods. Other racially motivated posts were also removed from that thread.

May I request beautiful ladies that from hereon, when you see a post that is offensive to the Filipina, PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND. Instead, report the poster immediately by clicking on their VJ name. A pull down menu will appear, then click "Report Member".

I am sure that eventually the attacks will stop if we are VIGILANT in reporting the offenders.

Thank you for your cooperation. Mabuhay ang mga Pinay!

p.s. I shed off my Gabriela Silang persona and bolo at balik na sa pagiging Demi Moore (demure).

i was expecting a ban too smile.gif and i also reported that particular post to captain ewok,

well, mabuhay ang mga pinay wooohoooo!

peace to all!

Generally, provincial schools are of poorer quality than those of Manila and students who transfer from provincial schools to the capital often do not do well. Provincial students also do not get as much practice speaking or reading English and so are disadvantaged.

how could you say that? i came from the province of eastern samar, i finished my elementary and high school there, when i entered college in quezon city, i was granted a four-year course scholarship, so that statement is a very hasty generalization...

Filipinas don't have to brag in this thread if they are highly educated or not. We can discern who are the highly educated and not too highly educated by reading their posts and how their English grammar and spelling stand up.

We don't have to boast that we are accountants or nurses or computer experts. This thread sucks! star_smile.gif

Well sir, at least we can speak English and most people can understand us, if our English is not perfect, that's because it's not our primary language. How about you? Can you speak Filipino huh? Are you bilingual like us? Being able to speak English is not the only way to tell if the person is educated or not, I guess you should know that.

Anyway mga pinays, count me in, BSBA Management smile.gif
