Yes my SO Andy is all about the 'best' coast, luckily his head office is in SD so thats where were planning on setting up home when he is finished in Utah. How did your wife settle from China to the US? big change! I feel like I'm in the US all the time, just waiting for a border officer to refuse me one of these days (I've been here since May bar a week). Just hope they continue to let me in on my B2 up until I get my K1, I'm not into long distance! Killer. Checked Igors list again and it seems things are moving still for May NOA1's, so who knows, in a month that could be me! Time for some dirt biking! I agree, Utah has many beautiful natural sights. I moved away in 1984, though I have lived in the western US all of my life. We currently reside in the Seattle area, it is certainly greener here than in Utah (due to the proximity to the coast). It is interesting to think that my wife used to live on the eastern coast of the Pacific in China, now she lives on the western coast of the Pacific in America. I honestly don't know how couples can be seperated for so long, maybe I'm just a bit needy!lol. I'm going to get my foreign police certificate ordered when I get back to the UK next week - I'm expecting that to take a good few weeks to come from Bahrain. I hope for the folks currently at the CSC that this exuberance is not short-lived, but rather that it continues and is also transferred to the VSC. All of us that have been through the NOA1 -> NOA2 "dead-zone" can totally appreciate the hope of a more rapid pace of approval. Keep on rolling CSC, VSC has to get with the program. And I don't know how it works but they might be approving different kinds of petitions at EAC - i129f is one of many! I personally am a bit peeved that we filed in June and now our expected approval date is next month. It limits our prep time down and I will most likely have to resign from my job earlier than I wanted which SUCKS! if I gotta spend a life time with this man I sure as hell wouldn't mind some breathing space before hand!! But it just takes one guy at the top of USCIS to say "no". I secretly think the government want us all to wait longer to put off potential scammers looking for a "quick fix". Who knows? Yeah I guess when you apply for visa at embassy they would have full access to any criminal info under your name, those guys know everything! Lol. Not done much planning and can't leave the states till tomorrow now as my flight to Paris was full Still looking at venues but we are trying to keep costs down so who knows? I'm confident with all the forms now I just have to get my police check from Bahrain and I'm good to go! My main concern is my ability to find a job when I'm here I'm on the lookout now! We've just adopted a cat so that's keeping us both very occupied - practise for a baby I keep saying. Ha! So your at vsc hon? What's your noa1 date? Its so random cause yesterday I decided to download all the DS forms I will need for interview and start getting to know them, then we got the text at 8pm last night! It's like I knew it was coming or something! I think about 50% of Mays have been approved already so they should start getting more and more June petitions up there too soon! Well I feel kinda officially engaged now and we've started looking at venues and such in Las Vegas and San Diego (can't decide!) and I might even start looking at wedding dresses but that is just too scary to even contemplate right now. HA! Best of luck to all you June-filers and lets hope VSC does the decent thing and hires some more staff to deal with the current situation. I really feel for those guys who have been waiting since February and have heard nothing, it doesnt seem right at all! I'll be keeping an eye out for your guys approvals!!
