K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresQuestion about USCIS touches
Do not stress too much at USCIS, wait at least a month until you check it again... sometimes they don't update it (like in our case) and when they do they just give you false hopes

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionCan visa be denied?
Don't worry, they usually denied the visa to those who have tried to kill themselves not to those with "normal" psycological problems. I am a Doctor and I work (at the same hospital) with one of the doctors that work for the embassy here in Nicaragua and that's what she told me when I asked her about what psycological issues would cause denying on visa procedures!

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionHaving my fiance on the interview
When I went for my interview (tourist visa --wich i got denied-- sad.gif ) the officers were really nice, trying to get us in the immigrant line, treating us really, really, really nice!!! Except for the denial the experience was pretty good (lol), they don't treat you the same if you are alone!

p.S: I was with my husband!

I think it is definetly and advantage, ppl at the embassy will see that he is commited, that the engagement is not fake... I have heard tons of successful stories when both (beneficiary and petitioner) are together

In my case, I'd have my husband with me...

You are now be called an AMERICAN!!!

Ha, wondered about that too, doesn't an American come from America? But there is a north and south America that has a total of 35 countries. I think these are all of them:

Antigua and Barbuda
Bahamas
Barbados
Belize
Canada
Costa Rica
Cuba
Dominica
Dominican Rep.
El Salvador
Grenada
Guatemala
Haiti
Honduras
Jamaica
Mexico
Nicaragua
Panama
St. Kitts & Nevis
St. Lucia
St. Vincent &
the Grenadines
Trinidad & Tobago
United States
Argentina
Bolivia
Brazil
Chile
Colombia
Ecuador
Guyana
Paraguay
Peru
Suriname
Uruguay
Venezuela

Some we are not very friendly with, but couldn't the people of these countries call themselves Americans too? Historically, what we call the native Indians were traced from Asia crossing into now what is Alaska, you could walk across about 12,000 years ago and going clear down to the tip of South America. Most of the immigrants in starting in the 15th century came from Europe bring diseases that wiped out a good share of these native Americans. So our European roots can be traced from Canada clear down to Peru.

Both my wife and I are 3rd generation in our respective countries, but in tracing our roots, our grandparents lived within 400 miles of each other or within the confines of the State of Wisconsin. While many Europeans stayed there, our ancestors were adventurous and were seeking a better life, we must have this in our blood.

So I guess in away, I did marry the girl next door so to speak, the circle is now complete. But we left a massive paper trail behind us to complete this circle. Ha, found that post, I believe in Off Topic, are foreigner women better than American women amusing. Technically, my wife is an American woman.

History of mankind can be traced back almost one million years, we all came from the same place in central Africa, but managed to really divide ourselves and mostly by very greedy people that somehow managed to get control of specified groups and were seeking more power resulting in endless wars. But these are just the leaders, the common people that work hard and want to raise families are no different than you or me. We are also the people that die in wars. Modern physiology is beginning to show that these leaders show excessive signs of aggression, or to put it very shortly, they are nuts and it seems the common people are not smart enough to realize they are being led by very aggressive and greedy nuts. Hence our divisions and wars, these nuts do not end with extreme religious beliefs that have no scientific evidence to back them up.

Thus the start of our immigration journey, but we cannot end it there, if we want good lives for our offspring, better take an interest whom is running our countries. History has also shown that these leaders are causing far more damage to their own countrymen then anyone else.

One country broke away from all previous traditions by having government run by the people, truly a miracle in terms of previous history, but it's up to the people to make sure their government is ran by them. A responsibility of every US citizen.

AGREE WITH YOU BUT EVERYONE IN THIS PAGE SOMEDAY WILL CALL THEMSELVES AMERICAN... AND TRUST ME BEFORE THAT YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF AMERICAN BUT CALL YOURSELF "VENEZOLANO".... TO SOME PPL YOU WILL SAY I AM AMERICAN AND TO OTHERS I AM VENEZOLANO... ORGULLOSAMENTE VENEZOLANO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
