Ok I have an urgent question... I was just checking on the barcoded coversheet from the NVC online and it is different from the one on James's shortcut... my husband already submitted the papers (ds230) with the coversheet from James's shortcut because we didn't even know that we had that option...

Do you think we are going to have a problem???? or it's the letter that the NVC sends after they receive IV payment just like James's shortcut?????

First attempted call for IIN number....

Try to sound confident and don't hesitate when she ask you something... we got our number right away!!!! I really don't know why they want to make the entire process so slow.... They really have the chance to be more efficient... Try calling at 7:30am or at 11:30pm it's the best time to get through and so far we have found the nicest operators....

Case nearly complete

Well I agree with Nita... we sent our papers on Friday... they received our papers on Monday, so far (wednesday) we haven't hear a single thing... they didn't update the automated response at least to say that they recieved it... but we are hoping everything will be finished soon!!!! My husband already decided to come on the first week of September because it looks like the process it's going to slow down from here....

Yeah, but it's true they do have problems with the Online payment... I read the other day that a guy paid 3 times.... and then he fought we evidence for his $800, and he got them after several months (i read it, somewhere here at VJ) it really won't change your timeline if you use james's shortcut and send it overnight!!!! that way you know for sure that you won't loose your money!!!
We paid succesfully online, but we knew it was high risk!!

Silent it's incredible the emotions that you transmit in your post, this is really the only place where we can fin true support from ppl that are in the same situation....
My husband is coming the first week of September... we thought that we were gonna be leaving together but i guess that won't be possible our case is not complete yet!!!!

I think it will be a lil bit faster... and yes, i agree it can't be any slower... CSC hired the double of their staff on March (i saw it at CNN on April). We have seen some May 2008 filers approved already so, hopefully it will be faster

I don't know about Nigeria, but here in Nicaragua and in most countries from what i have read and heard you need pictures together (not only wedding pictures) calling cards, phone bills, money transfer stub, greeting cards, l email, chat, boarding pases, airplane tickets (from your visits) beside all the papers that they tell you (packet 3) police certificate, interview appointment letter, passport (of course) marriage certificate, birth certificate, medical exam, vaccines... etc....

LET'S HOPE THEY MOVE YOUR CASE TO CSC TOO... I DONT THINK THERE IS A SINGLE PERSON WORKING AT VSC, MAYBE A COUPLE OF THE COMPUTER, BUT THERE HASN'T BEEN A SINGLE APPROVAL IN MONTHS...

well i use it during my entire NVC process and it worked just fine... i recemend them, yes they will accept it, but be aware that before using jame's shortcut your IV fee has to generated get IIN and pay it online or send the check.... once it shows paid you can prepare everything (print the barcoded sheet) and submitted
