Philippines	January 19 interview	Got my visa after 10 business days. Seems that there's some delay recently. Philippines	Calling for Interview	so sad i dont know what to do My fiance called the embassy, i think he paid $18 (thru credit card) for the PIN. Our phone provider at home is Digitel (can't use PLDT NDD here in the office, and can't go out from work to find one)and there's no way for me to call the embassy. My fiance don't have a choice. Philippines	This one's for the folks from the Philippines	WRONG.... CR/IR-1 Visa Fee is paid to NVC ($400, the IV as in Immigrant Visa Fee). There is no additional Application Fee. At the USEM you will only have to pay for the Air21 Delivery Charge which is 200+ Pesos depending on where it will be delivered. We called the embassy and ask if we can have our interview in January, but they told us that there were no January schedules yet, instead they give us Nov and Dec dates. My fiance is coming over in January thats why I want to have my interview on that month (for moral support, lol!) Again, GOODLUCK to those having their medical and interview. Philippines	Survey about wedding bands	I think any gift of love to her is a sign of your commitment. I'm not rich, I bought a 1ct solitare with 4 small diamonds for the engagment. I should say, I haven't showed her this nor gave it to her but will in Cebu on April 1st. I really hope she says YES! I know she excpects it as I officialy asked her to be my girlfriend last November and she said yes. So strange to an American that I had to court her for a time before I could call her my Girlfriend. And Yes, I had to ask her properly. I LOVE this about my Pinoy. I already bought a matching wedding band with 6 diamonds as a band. I took a long time finding the right ring and I know her so I'm confident that she will like the ring of promise to love her and she will wear it proud. PS. Do Filipinos wear wedding rings on Right or left hand? In most European countries they wear it on the right hand. Brad Left hand in ring finger for Filipino's wedding band. To compensate with my husband not liking a jewelry, we have a simple wedding band, pure white gold without diamonds. I like it alot since I dont wear much jewelry too.
