God is good all the time and He will never forsake us! LOL Yes I am a COUGAR... dyaam proud too! hahahaha.. There is a 16 year age difference between hubby and I.. He will be 24 and I will be 40 this year! Hot dyaam! I STILL got it! And for those who want to say Im like Stella trying to get my groove back, well I proudly tell them "I aint neva lost it" ooooo! You are awesome!! And you do NOT look 40! No way! The 2 boyfriends my mother had after she divorced my dad when I was 6... were WAY younger than her. I think she needs to find a nice Lucian man now. LOL. My mom is 62, her last boyfriend (of 15 years) died when I was in college. She hasn't had the desire to have another since. He was the love of her life. I wish she could find someone to spend time with. SHe jokes about going to Samoa cause they "like fat women"! LOL!! My mom needs a nice young man to whip her back into a fun and exciting life. Morning Irie...no 28 is definitely not old...I just tease him cause Den aches and complains some times like he is a little old man...he had a bad injury when he was younger and he hurt his back really bad so sometimes he aches...so I call him old man. We went to dinner and the mall last night... glad I can come and go as I please again! MrsTee... congrats on the compensation. That is nice, I like to know good things do happen. Ells... sorry about the phone issues. That is our biggest bill. We don't use cell phones though, just a land line. Louis is really trying hard to keep it down. He realizes his friends can call him just the same if they want to. The most $$ goes to "mom calls" and I can't discipline him on those. On selective services.. if you do not register and you are under 25... then decide to try for loans etc for college.. you will get screwed. You MUST register, don't forget about it... I know this is just one bump you will hit there could be others. The reason I know this is because Tierra's jackass father never registered and then got in big trouble when he tried to get a student loan a couple years ago. Congrats on the homecoming MsSheka! That is great news! Den... he is not OLD!! What would that make me and Louis at 35??? LOL Jeesh! And now I am trying for this baby, I am going to need a walker when I am a few months along!!! It was a trade in so they could have a brand new one. The '04 looks fancy! LOL, I love it! I also got them down $1300 less than what they wanted! MrsTee, that neck machine sounds good. Made me want a neck massage. DANG!!! Every day. Awesome news! New, quite apartment, car with $ leftover. I'm glad good things are happening for you. Thanks Nat! I had Louis call our present landlord to tell him we are leaving 1 month early. I guess lanlord was fine with it. He likes us and knows we couldn't deal with the noise. Now I am anxious to start packing and getting organized. No check in the mail yesterday. Maybe tomorrow. They just sent yesterday. But will have a car Thursday hopefully. Took hubby to see the Cherry Blossoms on Saturday and then we went to see Why did I get Married. We went to church on Sunday and then just relax. Funny Story: One of my co-workers came in this morning and told us she has a friend who lives in Oregon and her friend has a slightly retarded son who is 12. Well her friend went to work and left the child home alone and around 11am the boy called his mom and told her to come home because he caught a troll. She told him to put the troll in a cage until she got home and she will see it. The friend figured it was a squirrel or something. Well the friend got home after work and saw all her furniture move and was blocking the closet door. She asked him why all the stuff was there and he told her the troll is in the closet. She moved the stuff and opened the door and a Midget man ran out the door. He came by to hand out religious pamphlets and the little boy thought he was a troll…..Damn im still laughing OH MY GOSH!!! Not much wind but Nana finally got the kites up for us... I got a nice sunburn! MrsTee... Hope you are feeling better! So here is my story for Monday..... Last week insurance company denied my claim... we are staring state investigation. Cashed in my IRA, waiting for the check (praying it comes today) Looked at an apartment, loved it, got it... giving deposit today (still praying that check comes in the mail) Called CU for car loan, waiting for the yes on it today. Went to test drive car I really like Saturday... one thing leads to another, filled out paperwork... again waiting on that check. Just spoke to car insurance company for myself, hoping its not a million $$. So if all comes together, by the end of today I will have a new apartment, new car and car insurance... I used my juicer this morning. carrot/celery/parsley/spinach juice. Supposed to energize me!? I was a bit scared before I took a sip but was pleasently surprised. It wasnt bad at all!! Went to the grocery store last night and got all fresh veggies, fruit... nothing in a can or premade. Cannot wait to make something yummy later. I may make sesame green beens over wild rice. Or there was that plantains in coconut sauce.. it was like a coconut curry.. I also got my Vegetarian Times magazine and want to try out a few things. Guess I will cook healthy all weekend and see how Monday feels. I am a bit sleepy this morning so hope the juice works. All that baby talk yesterday... thought I should work on it! I made a special purple satin birthday hat, purple balloons... Nana even made a purple cake! #2..In like a Lion, out like a Lamb.. we made Lion and lamp cupcakes.. those were so cute! #3..Lobsters, Tierra loves them! RED BALLOONS EVERYWHERE, sandcastle cake w/ chocolate lobsters #4..Underwater... Nana made 2 of the best fish shaped cakes! So much fun! Oh we played pin the tail on the fish!! haha! #5..Tierra turned 5 in ST Lucia.. we had a pizza/pool party..this was the most low key.. not too many friends yet. #6..I think this one was ladybug, bumble bee and dragonfly cakes.. #7..Fashion show, girlie party at a hair salon.. girls got their hair done and dressed up for a red carpet fashion show! #8.. Tea party! Boy it was hard to remember them all. The Lobster one was fun, all the girls had funny red lobster hats and goblets with lobster stems! LOL.. Those fish shaped cakes were awesome too!
