My man had his interview he told that first meet in 2009 . Which was true but when I fill the form I put 2011 because that when our relationship started they gave. A yellow 221g form . I check the site it say ap .i send a copy of my passport with the stamp from 2009 but it not clear because my passport got wet from the lotion in my purse . I had my passport in my purse because I was going to see him and be there for the interview. I don't what going to happen now . USCIS Service Centers	Senator liason called about CSC	Just got off the phone with my senator's liaison (Senator Ron Johnson Wisconsin). I had called and emailed about 10 days ago and they said they would call and inquire on our behalf. We are a October 11th filer btw. The liaison said that she had inquired about our file and she was assured that our file was not destroyed in the plumbing incident a few weeks ago and that the DACA files were not affecting the K1 processing time. And apparently they told her that they are currently working on September filers. I asked her when she thought we would get our NOA2 and she said she was pretty sure in the next few weeks they would get to us. You know, after my initial phone conversation with Ginger over at Sen. Johnson's office, I sent all the materials she said she needed, but never heard back from her. So having read this post, I decided to call her up. She told me the same things: DACA didn't cause a slow down, CSC is working on August and September filers, no files were damaged by water. USCIS Service Centers	Just met with my Senator	Senator Baldwin's caseworker got a huge puff of smoke blown up their you know what, IMHO. Regarding excuses for K1's not having been processed, absolutely. About water damage? Who knows. But I believe they have hired a whole mess of new adjudicators, and I think it's reasonable that they've opened the door for all Congressional requests for those within a range of their processing time. It makes sense. If they're getting flooded with Congressional requests, it makes it nice and clean to say "we'll pull the files of anyone who's within 3 weeks of our processing target". USCIS Service Centers	Just met with my Senator	An update: just heard back from Senator Baldwin's caseworker. She said she spoke with the supervisor of the CSC's congressional inquiries department. He noted there was a severe uptick in Congressional inquiries over the past few weeks. He insisted no adjudicators we're diverted to DACA and that delays were due to increased volume (I think we can all collectively call BS but one way or another...) He also said hundreds of new adjudicators were hired and are in training right now, and that most of them are due to go to the CSC. He told our caseworker that no files were water damaged (it would be interesting to find out whether the Ombudsman was full of it?) and most interestingly: anyone with files within a 3 week range of the current processing date is eligible to have their file pulled and reviewed by a "senior adjudicator" by Congressional request. USCIS Service Centers	Just met with my Senator	I'm an August 2012 filer (NOA1 September 11), and I've been working with Senator Baldwin's office to see what can be done about the current slowdown at CSC. Her staffer for Immigration matters has been excellent and very responsive, but I wanted to push for more than my personal case. We need our representatives putting pressure on USCIS to realign it's priorities, not just pull individual files and get them pushed through. Tonight Senator Baldwin (Wisconsin) had a fundraiser here in Madison, so I showed up, waited patiently, and when I had the time, spent a few minutes bending her ear about what's going on. I got the impression that she was already familiar with the problems at CSC, and that she was putting her weight behind the issue. Baldwin's a pretty cool Senator in that she has a long record (as a US Representative and in our State legislature) of really fighting the good fight for her Constituents. USCIS Service Centers	Sad day today	I think people are starting to get a little spoiled by CSC playing catch up. I'd love to see them keep this up until they had no K-1 petitions left to approve, but let's all be a little more realistic. Once they get caught up, which at the current pace, is likely to be fairly soon (next few weeks), be ready for a slow down from CSC. They hopefully don't ever come to a halt again like they did at the end of last year, but be ready to go back to only seeing a few per day, and some days without any. I called dos 1st, they referred me to the uscis office and told me to call. I also have to use our USCIS receipt # .........not our # from the embassy receipt. The USCitizen Petitioner should be further communicating with the Congressman about the error at the FPU . Since the FPU got it wrong, it's possible for an ILS human with the Congressman's office to communicate further with the FPU (not you, not the USCitizen Petitioner, only the ILS human) and bring this matter to the FPU's attention once again. It's on yer USCitizen Petitioner to write the request for the ILS human, so if I was in your exact shoes, I'd be practicing with her for writing the request for the ILS human, at this moment, then sending it off soonish. You'll have some problem with time and timing because of the Christmas holiday, to get any action or subsequent response, but you have one inroad on this. One. If the ILS Human not get engaged quickly and the request to FPU not get in quickly, that casefile is going to get returned to USCIS. Once it's left the IV Unit, there's no telling what will happen - a review at USCIS could occur, or USCIS would let the petition expire, or something else.
