IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Aug 2013 I-130 filers	Nada hoy tambien...0...zilch...grrr.. this sucks   Nada de nada indeed ! we really regret not having sent it right after we got married ,we would have been approved by now ,but we honestly thought it would take 7 month or so,we visited each other 2 times before we sent in the I130   our original plan was to move to Tangier but that did not work so well cause of our two giant dogs, Morocco is not very dog friendly anyways ...also the Moroccan Embassy in the US took too long to approve the paper work for our dogs ! they sent it in one day after the our scheduled flight ..our paper work was sitting on their desk for almost 2 weeks *sigh* that alone cost us thousands of $ + ,so moving to Morocco did not work and we cannot afford trying it again so we gave up on that ,now all we can do is wait ...and maybe try to visit each other again which would cost around 1000$ ,So far we spent at least 7000$ just to be together and now we simply cannot afford the luxury of visiting our own spouses! ,Jamie will try to visit me one more time and also try to be there with me for the interview ,all this is just ridiculous,we also found out a mistake we made on our I130 :S Questions C.22 we left it blank cause the questions was just freaking stupidly written ,so we might even get a RFE now?!     Izzy	Jamie & Izzy	Male	Morocco	2014-01-27 20:11:00

Its so unfair to take that from us and leave us supporting 2 households in 2 countries without the support of our spouses. We joke that we have lived together more before marriage than after, but its not really a joke its the truth! Since we married in May we have been together for 8 weeks whereas we were living together for 3 years before that!!   That`s just awful they need to make some kind of visa for people who already been and lived together,i feel like they are trying to punish us ...we did not know it would take this long ! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Aug 2013 I-130 filers	Man ...this sucks *sigh* i got over exited again ! its so hard all this waiting ,i mean we use Skype/Facebook/Whatsapp like 24/7 we try to visit each other every 3 month but its just not enough ! sometimes i go to the front page and read some posts about people that got unhappy once they were together ...what do you expect after knowing each other couple of month and meeting each other for a couple of days? I lived with my husband i have traveled with him cooked with him went grocery shopping every week with him we went to a favorite food place every Saturday (huhot) took care of our dogs together we spend every single free time together, i mean we had a life together and missing out on special moments with him as little as they are is really heartbreaking ! sorry for being so emotional and whiny today,like i said i got my hopes up too soon .   Wishing us all luck !   Izzy           Edited by Jamie & Izzy, 27 January 2014 - 03:10 PM. Although I send a copy of passport stamp, so now wait for man to sent it from Uganda to me. He could write then through email but I was scare so I said no . I had him fedx to me which arm and leg. Still waiting the arrival. I wait six month and now this. I miss my man so much I cry. There is nothing can do put wait. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Nvc	Hey any body ran into the problem ? I was approve and then sent to the Nvc where it stay for three week . They final send off to Kenya . I got home last night from work and there was a letter from the Nvc . I open and just scream i have waited Nine month for my approval then three week at Nvc . Now they have my man name wrong . What the ....... I have call several time and they have the information right but the letter they send had his name wrong . So I call the visa center they try to blame and uscis . I told that was bullshit. Then it is just an error and my man should have any problem. I am crying how can these take people life so simple? Omg . Is it speeding up your application? Making your relationship better? So the OP got through the system faster than a bunch of us... it doesn't make his advice any less applicable. My dearest Ceilla and I have been luckier than many - we worked together over the winter on a cruise ship, and then I was in Indonesia with her for a month. So we've actually only been apart for a few weeks. But we had 7 months apart last Summer, and we are so excited! We got the NOA2 notice at about 6pm California time, for what it's worth! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	We Got an RFE	The idea that they are spitting out RFE's just to bolster their numbers probably doesn't hold water. It takes more time to spit out an RFE than it does an approval, and the same adjudicator then holds on to the file until the RFE evidence comes back, so they don't even get rid of it. And they can't spit out an RFE without looking at the file in the first place. Looking at an old thread written by someone who used to be an adjudicator, they don't like doing RFE's. They only do them because the cases are randomly reviewed for quality, and if a file gets approved that should have had an RFE, the adjudicator gets dinged on their performance stats (which are linked to pay raises). So they truly have no motivation to spit out useless RFE's. Sorry that there's been a delay in processing, but at least you know the interminable wait is over and now you're finally on the road! I'm not crying wolf or saying that my case needs to be looked at specifically. This is about getting congress to be more aware of our situation. I don't think even 5 months wait for an NOA2 is appropriate. I'm just using government the way it was meant to be, which is to voice the concerns of the people to the ones who represent us in order to get change. I even made it clear in my letter that I don't expect them to give me special attention, but that I'm speaking on behalf of our entire community because I'm no where near the processing time myself. We shouldn't be content with being pushed around by USCIS like this and making congress more aware is our best chance at getting change for us all. Below is what I wrote. Nothing too fancy.   Good day Congresswoman,   First of all I would like to personally thank you for all your work in Washington and for responding to every concern I have emailed you about. As your constituent I am writing on behalf of myself and all others that have chosen to start the long journey of the K1 visa process. It is to my best knowledge that there is a backlog when it comes to processing K1 visas compared to any other visa. I urge you and your colleagues to do everything possible to help speed up the first stage of this process which is having the K1 application approved for visa consideration, also known as a Notice of Action (2). Not only is it difficult being so far from our loved ones for 5 to even 11 months for some, but it is essentially putting our entire lives on hold and preventing us from raising a family and becoming more productive for our country as a whole. I am a US Army Reservist and I understand the stress, like so many other military members going through the K1 visa process, of knowing that at any moment we can be deployed to a war zone and possibly never even have the opportunity to marry our significant other.
