IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2013	Can someone please let me know if this has happened to you.... Once our payments showed Paid, I called the NVC to see what I do next. The Operator told me to send and email to nvcelectronic to set up electronics filing, so I did! Then our lawyer sent in our AOS and IV packages, (scanned docs). I called the NVC 3 days later and they said nothing is showing as received, not even my email to set up electronic filing! So I sent another request as suggested by the Operator! Then our lawyer sent another email with our docs....I called back last night and still nothing! Ok, now I'm mad! The Operator last night said that I should of sent my request to file electronically to nvcinquiry@state.gov......well this is the 1st time I've been told about this email address.....so I sent the 3rd request last night. Then the Operator told me to wait a few days and have the lawyer send the scanned docs once again! While all of this is going on, our lawyer called the NVC (is it true lawyers have their own number they can call)?? Our lawyer told us that she spoke to someone and they advised they have our docs and are currently reviewing out case... I'm not too sure what to think or who to believe here!! I'm just praying that they are in fact looking at our case. Can anyone advise if they have heard of this or been through it? Seems like we are being send in circles here. Thanks in advance!! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2013	Yes, the DS-260 won't be available until the IV fee has cleared. But I wasn't talking about that.   If you haven't opted in yet for EP, then it may just be faster if you mail it in at this point instead of sending in the optin email and waiting for acceptance. But, since you have a lawyer, it probably doesn't matter as they're likely to slow you down anyways regardless of what you do.   Everything that is needed for the two packages is in post 2 (and in the links in post 1). Just ignore the DS-230 for the IV package as you'll be doing the DS-260 online (hopefully soon). Excellent, thanks....ya I just tried to do the IV online and I got stopped again, had the same message saying that payment is pending....damn! I think that you are right about mailing the AOS, it would be faster at this point. I am trying to get a hold of my lawyer and tell him to drop it in the mail if he hasn't already. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2013	While you're waiting for the payment portal to appear as PAID so you can fill in the DS-260, you can still email the AOS and IV packages (if you opted into EP and received the acceptance). Thanks for the info.....I tried to download the electronic DS-260 but it wouldn't take me any further in the site, just showed that the payments are pending....as for the AOS, I believe that we are going to mail it in....although I am not sure, our lawyer has all of that info. My Husband was at his office last week and dropped off his tax info and signed the form. Can you please tell me what is in the IV package? I'm not sure that we have got it yet..... Thanks in advance! I didn't know your stuff was tied to the online payment... though it makes sense. Ugh. Yes it really does eh! She confirmed like you said, if the money comes out you can go ahead and submit...but since we have to do it online we are stuck here until it shows PAID! Boooo. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2013	Hey everyone, just wanted to pass this message along: We made both of our payments on April 26th, and today the status still says 'in process'....so called the NVC today and they advised me that they have had a problem with the system. The money came out of my Husbands account on April 29th. So I tried to fill out the online DS-260 (we have to because we are going through the Montreal Consulate) and the site wouldn't let me because payment is pending.... I am so frustrated, I just want to get this stuff submitted! Anyway, just wanted to share for all of you that may be having the same problem. The operator was actually super nice and said that the problem should be fixed soon....I am praying that it is fixed by tomorrow so I can get this process going! They operator told me to call back in 20 days...I called back 2 days later and had a case number! We have just paid our fees this past Friday and are waiting for them to show 'Paid' on the site and proceed from there....I just want to go home!! Best of luck, I hope you get your number soon! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2013	You too, ah?  For me, an EP case headed to Guangzhou - I am baffled.  Prior to 15 May 2013, EP casefiles to Guangzhou got scheduled 2 to 5 business days after final review complete.   Now I'm 9 calendar days out, and biting nails.     But that's ok, really - I'm headed back to China this weekend, so at least I'll be with my wife whilst we wait together.   I'm so d@mn tired of the supervisors at NVC telling me that this'll get scheduled during the 2nd week of the month.     Then on top of that  there's a nasty rumour that the IV Unit most likely will participate in the Consulate Consolidation Plan, moving into the Big Consulate Enclave .   That'll shut everything from 15 to 22 July.  I guess it's ok for us if we get an interview in the last part of July, but I'm simply dreading an August interview at the moment.     grrr.  Wow! I sure hope that rumor is not correct....I just want to get back home where I belong. My Husband will be here for a visit in just over 2 weeks, so I am just looking forward to that! The visits is what's been getting us through. Best of like to you, and have an amazing time in China. I'm hoping that we will all be celebrating very soon! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2013	Lately, the case complete email is taking around a week to receive (after the case is completed), so you should be getting it any day now. Although, you don't really need it as you already know the case is completed by speaking with an operator.   And the case won't be sent to Montreal until an interview date has been assigned. Ya, I keep jumping every time my iPad beeps that I have an email! Lol Is it true they are still booking at the beginning of the month? Or do they also start booking at the end of the month as well?? This waiting seems to be the hardest of all! I've been calling the NVC everyday and they said it should be coming soon....called the DOS and they said that our case has not been sent to Montreal yet. I send it to an address that was instructed on I-130 instructions. I didn't know that I can send it to local office here? No, I didn't use any lawyer since it's pretty since process to me. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January 2013 I-130 Filers	Hi Guys, I called USCIS today and found out that they are currently processing August 2012 I-130 for Spouse applications right now. They also told me that my file is at NBC and then it will send out to local field office. I applied on Jan 25, 2013. Does anyone is in same situation? I am little worried since they told me that it will still take around 4-5 months to except reply back from them. Please let me know. Thanks!! Ours was sent to the local office and I guess that's good, and it was for us because our I-130 was approved in just over 80 days! We filed the 1st week of January 2013. We are in the NVC stage now....I'm sure you will be approved soon. I think what helped us is that both my Husband and I work in law enforcement and he has top secret clearance. We waited 6 months to file because we were worried she wouldnt gain entry, turns out didn't matter. We have had several crossings with no problems. We made the mistake of telling him that we were engaged, and he said that I looked like I was intending on immigrating illegally. What's crazy is I didn't have a big suitcase. I had a job to be at, it was just insane. He was a super d-bag to say the least. BUT everything does happen for a reason, we got married in December which is amazing!! We are getting through this process pretty quickly compared to other people I see on here. We have a lawyer and just got our NVC case number so we are starting that paperwork now! Like a velociraptor walked into the office ensnare half the workers and my i130 got covered in blood. The reason we haven't heard anything, is its a big government conspiracy to breed fighting raptors... I miss my woman. Hahahahah, well not quite, but I do have a lot of hate towards the customs officer at Toronto Airport who denied me entry into the US way back in November that started all of this #######....we were doing nothing wrong, but the guy was a looser and decided to turn our lives upside down....I guess the good thing is I will come out of this with a Green Card....but damn, why does it have to take so long!? So they told me they are getting the package to be sent out today. I am super excited!!!! Be proactive with NVC to speed up the things, rather than reactive! 1) After receiving the case from the USCIS, NVC assigns a case# (NVC Case#) 2) Call NVC at 603-334-0700 to get NVC Case#, to provide both the petitioner and beneficiary email ids and to get IIN (Invoice Identification Number) 3) Email DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) by the beneficiary to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov making the U.S petitioner as the agent (Email format: http://www.visajourn...il_DS-3032_form) ---- IS THIS STEP NECESSARY IF I ALREADY RECEIVED THE INFO BY PHONE? I'm on another conversation on here that someone else from Canada has had their I-29 make it thought the NVC along with their I-130.....apparently that's really rare. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January 2013 I-130 Filers	We filed in January 2013, and less then a week after we filed in got my NOA1.....but we are still trying to be patient and wait for our NOA2. We were asked to submit further evidence in early March and the letter came from our local office in Jacksonville, Fl, but we sent the package to Texas initially. Our lawyer says this is a good sign and should be hearing something soon...fingers crossed, this long distance marriage thing is not for me! Good luck everyone!
