Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)Will they charge with Misrepresentation

Sorry , am just too stressed out. Looking back , here's what happened during my interview. The CO asked me more about my cancelled visitors visa. He said that he will get in touch with homeland security. To check on my status ,it may take two weeks. He was shaking his head. Looks like I'm in a lot of trouble. Then he looked at my fiance's income tax.Because my fiance wrote off his loss during the previous year, he has very low net income in his income tax($100).The consul finally told me that the income of my fiance is not enough to support me. I told him that he has income from social security, pension and income from work. He told me that those were not enough so he could not give me a visa. he told me to go to this window where they will give me back my documents. so I went to this window where he told me to go. The guy there returned my passport and gave me a white paper that says that I need to submit an original copy of I-134(affidavit of support)and a valid passport. I submitted the said documents the next day. With the financial support, I attached my fiance's social security statement, pension statement, his work certification and his business card. After four weeks I got a letter from the embassy(attached was my passport) saying that they cannot give me a visa because I don't have an adequate financial support. It also says that the disposition of my case is on May 20,2010 to call the embassy or talk to the CO on that date for them to explain it to me. I thought it would be best if I go there with my fiance. So he came home and we went to the embassy together. We brought again his social security, pension statement and year to date earnings from work. However the CO didn't ask anything about it nor his finances. All he asked was "are you planning to get married with in 90days?".
My fiance said definitely. After that he told us that everything's been solved, to go to this window and they will tell us what to do next.
We waited for two hours. But we were never called in the window he told us to go to.We were called in another window and we were given the "PINK SLIP"!!!! I am now waiting for my visa to be delivered...PRAISE GOD!!!
This is my story. And I want to thank you all for bearing with me.

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)Songs that remind you of the Visa/ AP Journey
Oh girl.. I know EXACTLY how u feel. I felt the same when I was stuck at the NVC, I cried sooo many times, so many nights, alone in my bedroom, wishing, praying, wanting...My only happiness was to see my hubby every day online... to call him, to hear his voice... to know what he was doing anytime...that helped me a lot. I was sooooooo far from him, crossing the ocean.. but there was him, loving me the same way I love him, feeling the same pain...
Cheer up girl, AP is not a deny, so at least u know any unexpected day he will get a call to get his visa! There are lots of people who get denied and have to start the battle again... for longer...
I can´t wait to hear your good news. Don´t forget to pray every night girl... it really works...
Hope to get good news this new week
!!

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)How long was YOUR AP ?

In the defense of karinapogue the initial words AP puts a lump in your throat and makes your heart fall to your feet to me the first day of AP was probably the worst and then for the first 3 months I thought he would get the visa any day after the first 3 months I realized I was in for the long haul. But truthfully the beginning of AP was the worst I searched and searched for anything that might speed it up and to try and understand the procedure only to figure out there is no rhyme or reason for what the CO does and there is nothing that can be done only wait it out in time we will all get the visa

Right.
When they kept my passport and told me they had to do an "internal check" I was shocked. I searched HOURS AFTER HOURS here, Yes I got only 3 days, but it could easily be 3 months, or more... My case was complicated, but... thank God.. I got my visa.
I was so happy when I got my visa after a week, I felt a 100 tons stone removed from my back. I don´t know how my life would be now if I were still in AP, but I understand u perfectly how u feel, and I know there is nothing I can say to make u feel better, but maybe AP is sometimes better than a denial. That, for me... is the worst.
At least u know there is someone... very far away from u... who loves u and wishes to be with u with all his / her heart. At least u have someone to love.

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)How long was YOUR AP ?

I can't help but think it's a little insensitive to those whose AP is longer than three days to be telling us this

Well if it makes u happy I have been stuck at the NVC for maybe 3 months. Happy now? :bonk:
